I first saw him 45 years ago giving a demonstration at Fordham University in New York. It was spell binding. He seemed to be floating in the air and I knew I was in the presence of an absolute master. And, of course, I attended his school.

Had the opportunity to spar with him years ago. He recognized my technique, turns out I studied from his student's student. He then hit me harder!

I met his son and daughter 20 years ago at a Sanshou tournament and hung out with them afterwards. They made such a big impression on me that I still remember them fondly now.

You don't need to be a grandmaster :) And now think what they do to all the old people in retirement homes. Bingo will not train your muscles!

Why I have been with him all my adult life comes through in this video. This is how he teaches every day. Great that the TV station found him. More people need to know about the valuable resource he is in the city and the world.

This was wonderful, don't invite a man who has been teaching for 60 years without being ready to give him at least 60 minutes of your time he was enjoying himself with y'all, time is nothing compared to that

Right, people should know that Tai Chi Chuan IS martial art. Chen should demonstrate flinging people away like his teacher Cheng Man Ching or getting hard strikes unhurt from people.

I'd like to know too. They both had a WTF look on their faces like they couldn't believe he said it, whatever it was.

I dont' know about 7:44, but at 7:57, it was when GM Chen instantly punched him with perfect form after reaching into his pocket for the money that he was asked for...that caused her to crack up.
