    Awesome video! Have you every considered doing flowcharts for individual characters? I'd love to see a flowchart for Ryu.

      Thx! No not really but I can help you build one no problem. I remember a few things: if you end with blade kick, you can get the denjin (but lose pressure), if you end with heavy shoryuken, you can drive rush into your overhead (f-mp) that will beat mashing. You can also throw or block an OD reversal from that so that’s good. So
      mp, cmp, shoryuken -> Drive Rush, f-mp, shoryuken -> drive rush, throw.
      After a throw, he can walk forward and throw again (manual timing). So he can loop it mid screen, which is super good. So you can walk up and then throw..or walk up, step back, hp (shimmy)..and on hit, you go into drive rush.
      Or walk up neutral jump..
      Or walk up clk (low), clp, shoryuken..-> drive rush, overhead repeat
      He has good loops that allow you to block at any moment if you suspect a reversal, just like rashid (with less corner carry but a better throw game)

    Great video, I never could understand why flowcharting could be seen as bad.

      Thx, agree! You need one so that you can deviate from it

    Great video! But aren't you replacing the definition of Flowchart with Okizeme?

    • @iZonkGaming2021
      @iZonkGaming2021  10 месяцев назад

      Thx! In this video it’s about knock downs (so okizeme yes) because those are the low hanging fruit but you can also apply it to which buttons to press in what order/what moment (hp into heavy heavy dragon lash for example, you dont have real oki here).
      I will also do a video on spacing traps, thats can also be flow charted..
      At the end of the day you need a flow chart of some sort so that you can deviate from it and yea, okizeme is the easiest to start this with😎

    So are there any counters to Rashids guaranteed set ups?? Besides not getting hit lol

    • @iZonkGaming2021
      @iZonkGaming2021  9 месяцев назад

      Haha well, after he jumps he is +7 so you, i wouldnt press a button. You’re guessing. So you can do an OD reversal if you think he will press a button or throw, you can jump or back dash if you think he will throw, you can block if you think its a strike. I would crouch block, to block his strikes. Take the throw, his throw midscreen will leave him farrrr away from you.

    This too technical for beginners imo. I've been playing the game for a few months now and I still don't understand fighting game notation all that well so I didnt really get much from the video.

      True, this is for gold-diamond players probably. Focus on anti airing, blocking and drive rushing forward first, thats more important! This is focussed on what to do to confuse your opponent after specific combo enders

    flowcharts are bad they make you predictable

    • @iZonkGaming2021

      You need a flow chart to make quick decisions on offense, its up to you to make different decisions based on the defenders behavior imo.
