I saw that concert (same tour) in Montreal, Canada back in 1987... It was AMAZING!
I was there too, and within 24 hours I saw the same show in Ottawa! Too bad all the teeny-boppers took all the best seats first, having heard and seen "Sledgehammer".

I’ve been waiting for more reactors to dive a little deeper into Peter Gabriel. He’s the closest we have to a male Kate Bush. So inventive and such a varied musical output both with Genesis and as a solo artist. Please react to more from this, his 4th album. Rhythm Of The Heat, San Jacinto, Kiss Of Life, Wallflower. So good.

Kate Bush is the female Peter Gabriel. And as for not having foreseen Peter to be the type to fall onto his audience, well, Peter Gabriel invented that move. He was doing it solo as early as 1979, and even in 1972 he experimented with jumping into the audience, in his days with Genesis. The first time that he tried it, the crowd had no idea what was coming, so they got out of his way when they saw Peter flying at them... He wound up on the ground, with a broken ankle! 1972!
