got my ELEGANT this morning. set it up. brakes, derailleurs etc. front wheel on and centered set up in the shop. just pedals and horizontal bar to put on and adjust. took it for a test spin. no problems. battery is a bit hard to remove and insert. 26 inch wheel (better control) and decent front shocks a must on Toronto streets. the bike has quality parts and a solid frame. the bike exudes quality. can take a lot of abuse. got it on sale. delivered within a week. can highly recommend. ps. great for seniors. (I am 82 and alive).
Tony, read the assembly instructions... the handlebar tightening protocol is different from what you are showing. Maybe the first instruction in the manual is to read the instructions lol!
Curious as to why have your handlebar stem straight up? I understand that it makes installation easier, but usually the stem is aimed away from rider at around 110 to 90 degrees.
I am the proud owner of a Voltbike.I have had it for three years now and totally trouble free.Absolutely love it.

That looks like a cool bike. Bet it can really move.
Nice. But if you're going to get a heavy e bike, might as well get a fat e trike.
