OMG! its bringing back soooo many good memories for me. The engines will do billions of miles when looked after. Used to heaps of these on the roads in NZ. Some of them comanding stupid money.
These were, and still are great cars. I worked at a Mazda dealer out in Banstead, Surrey many moons ago. Some customers want to add a cassette player, but wanted to keep the original dash intact in case they wanted to sell the car, and they could take their stereo with them. Of course, these same customers ended up keeping their cars for a very long time, and those extra stereos looked ever so out of place. There’s still these cars on the roads over here in the Midwest USA 🇺🇸 where I now reside. I love seeing the old vehicles that I grew up with. Especially those without too much computer technology within them. Great video, and love the content 👍.
I love them old Mazda 323 I used to have a autograss one it was wicked it was rear wheel drive 1.3 it was a hand full with the rear axle I knew it will want welding I would of saved that but Im a welder fabricatior for 25 years but how many projects do you want do any of them get finished
Before any body says I turned mine in to rear drive for auto grass racing I turned the engine around and used a different gearbox prop and back axle but the shell was light and fun to drive
Shame it's not a few years earlyer, the prev model was RWD 😎 If it was one of those I'd have it off you in a heartbeat, twas my first car on the road 👍
I had a brand new top of the range 1982 Mazda SLX sedan in metallic silver and a brand new red 1984 Mazda 323 Sport hatch 5spd with twin carbs, both really reliable and well made cars.
Festival of the Unexceptional calling! It's great but will be an expensive fix if you consider painting it too but obviously other things come along too🤔😖is she running even? Will need tyres, exhaust etc also.
these repairs look horrific actually there not cut all that bad weld out media blast it and use stiff cardboard to make templates same with the tailgate remove the glass its really not that hard

Thanks for that. Good to know that info! Glad you like the video :)
Nice! I love it. A Mazda is always nice, expecially an older one.
Glad you saved it from them. They smash up too many classics

I don’t think putting a cover on it will do a lot!
They drove nice. Back in the day they were a good alternative to ford and Vauxhall and would have a bit more equipment
Would be a crime to banger race or scrap anything of that vintage. Awesome car and super rare.
Get back on Autoshite and ask!
