Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is a 2018 British-American jukebox musical romantic comedy film written and directed by Ol Parker, from a story by Parker, Catherine Johnson, and Richard Curtis. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Mamma Mia!, which in turn is based on the 1999 musical of the same name using the music of ABBA. In 1979, young Donna Sheridan graduates from Oxford's New College with her best friends Rosie and Tanya, and dreams of a Greek island named Kalokairi. Donna's mother, Ruby, is a famous singer, but she has a strained relationship with her daughter and does not attend the graduation. Fed up with her mother's constant negligence and determined to spend her life making memories, Donna decided to travel to Kalokairi to find her destiny.

Harry seemed like a good best friend and Sam had zero chemistry with her. This film made me love Bill
Poor Harry, he's the one character who's really dumped on in this franchise, yet he's one of the most likable characters, in my opinion.

But i don’t know why harry’s arrival on kalokahiri is not shown. In the first movie, he says he took a train to reach Donna on the isle. And also he gave his guitar. All these things are not shown in this movie, it would be better if it was shown

He is the gay guy that thyed a girl one time and maybe got her pregnant, there was not much room for romance for them in the movie, but his song is fire

Definitely one of my favourite movies! I remember going to see this film with my friend when it first came out. When it finished we went out to my car and both said "i really want to see that again!". We went back into the cinema and watched it again😂

"why did it have to be me" seems to fit if he's the bio father because he doesn't seem like the guy to settle down and have kids. while sam stepped up as a step father and harry wanting a daughter to spoil.. Bill is just there haha. i still think it could be sam thinking about the artistic talent sophie and him share, and donna spent more time with him. but i still believe bill is the father

I can see you why I mean bill eyes has sophie eyes but the blond hair come from both parents
Bill apparently is the most likely candidate to be Sophie's biological father, since he's the only blond between him, Harry and Sam. This is even shared by the director of the original film, plus the timing works out better.
And given the fact he was often on the Island to see his Aunt Sophie (The owner of the inn) it makes it even more plausible that Bill is Sophie's Dad

Donna is blonde. Sophie’s father didn’t need to be blonde for her to be a blonde.
Genetics can be funny. My 3rd nephew is blonde, yet neither of his parents are.
But my brother and I have some blonde uncles and cousins, so that’s where it comes from.

Why did they kill off donna??
Meryl Streep doesn't do sequels. The fact that she came back for two songs in this was shocking.
meryl streep famously doesnt do sequels, so had to make a reason why donna isnt there. personally, i wouldnt have done the b-plot of sophie and the hotel. i would have just had the entire movie be young donnas life. it was more entertaining, and lilly was phenomenal as young donna.
Whats the next one about then? Meryl confirmed she's in it...
