FILM DESCRIPTION:
In 1979 young Donna, Tanya and Rosie graduate from Oxford University -- leaving Donna free to embark on a series of adventures throughout Europe. On her journeys, she makes the acquaintances of Harry, Bill and Sam -- the latter whom she falls in love with, but he's also the man who breaks her heart. In the present day, Donna's pregnant daughter, Sophie, dreams of renovating a taverna while reuniting with her mother's old friends and boyfriends on the Greek island of Kalokairi.

It’s insane how much chemistry Lily had with every romantic relationship (Donna) has in this movie. Like her chemistry with young Sam, Harry AND Bill’s actors is astounding. The casting people really got this right. I’m obsessed.

I know the sequel doesn’t completely follow the original but honestly I think this movie stand alone, it’s a wonderful sequel but apart from the original it’s a great movie all it’s own

I keep playing this on repeat. Hugh Skinner is so endearing as Harry, and love his singing voice at the start of the song.

Did you see the show Legends Of Tomorrow? They had a season devoted to time portals opening and people ending up in the wrong places and times. A unseen adventure was described as Napoleon ending up in the 1970's and they had to prevent him from hearing the song Waterloo and learning his fate early.

When a sequel doesn't follow the original I like to tell myself it takes place in a parallel universe to appreciate the movie for its own.
