Welcome back! It is so nice to see you. This is from their new album that came out this month. So no live ones for a while. This is the one they put out first. The whole album is on the Nuclear Blast channel. They have individual lyric videos for all of the songs. If you do them it is better to do them in the order they come on the album. They have a second album which is all instrumental. The new album is different for Nightwish. The songs have some element from Nightwish. I am anxious to see more. Thank you. Take care and stay safe.
Great to see you safe & sound. For the most part I don't watch the video in music videos because I want to focus just on the music. However, the video in this Nightwish song is an artistic masterpiece and supports the lyrics' message extremely well. I'm one of those long time Nightwish fans that absolute love their new album "Human. :||: Nature." in all its experimentation & music genre mixing with refreshingly different vocal lines & singing styles from Floor combined with intellectually challenging lyrics - so for me the new album is a masterpiece well worth the 5 year wait.
Hi Shaun! Great to see you back but sorry to hear about the job situation. I hope you are keeping well in these uncertain times. I guess the only positive is that you'll have more time to do reaction videos! I think one of the best things about this video, besides the actual song itself (which is awesome, by the way, both musically and vocally), is the way the band was featured in the video rather than actors and the video reflected the lyrics, which a lot of videos don't do. Unfortunately, this is the only official video from the album...all the rest are lyric videos. Anyways, I look forward to seeing more reaction videos from you soon. Cheers!
Great to see you. Sorry about the circumstances though. This awesome video was written directed by the same guy (Stobe Harju) who directed their "Imaginearum" Movie. He also wrote & directed their fantasy-steampunk music video for "The Islander." I like his work a lot.
I like when Empu's phone goes red because that simbolizes that he is doing something different with his phone than the rest, and the others turn on him because he is not following along with the crowd.. and how classic is it that Kia is taking selfie pictures of the attack to post online instead of helping him..

Nice reaction. I gotta agree it's better to listen to Nightwish live but a video is way better then just an audiotrack wich is the alternative when they cant do any live performances yet :( And as far as video go this one sure is a masterpiece and very fitting for the song.
Yes. It was very well done. Notice when Tuomas flips the anti-nuclear sign around to be pro-nuclear, because that's how real so much 'environmentalism' is today. 🤪 Whatever!

Floor is basking and self promoting in the image of her pageant daughter who really wants to go to the fair but is trapped in mothers cage skirt. Kai is taking a selfie of his friend Emppu getting beat up because he scrolled the wrong way and they all are more interested in their phones than the Mona Lisa. There's also several hexagons in there, the classic form of the hive and the design of of phone tower coverage to reuse radio channels over and over again. There's a lot in there, and the child grows old and dies in the "matrix" which ends with a black screen and a very old Windows shut down jingle; while it shows there is a beautiful world out there if you just look. Out of interest, places in Europe, sadly, have red and green pedestrian crossing lights in the edge of the pavement (sidewalk) to cater for the masses heads-down in their phones and totally detached from the real world.
