You're welcome. Yes when I wanted one I could find almost no info about it, apart from dealers selling them. So I took the risk and bought it. Yes, its not quite as good as some name brands, but the price point was worth it.
I just bought the 550 and I absolutely love it. It rides like a Cadillac and the power steering rocks. Unsure how it will weather the test of time but I think it is a hell of a nice bike for the money. Name brands have gotten astronomical with their pricing. Saved 5k and I drove Can Ams and polaris and I liked the MSA better. Thanks for the review. It's good to know your having good luck with the 400.
@@loaded7436 So far no...as I mentioned before, the fuel gauge never worked right, but it wasnt worth sending back to Texas...other than that, so far so good.
@briandolim8206 definitely buy one it is sweet. I unfortunately haven't been able to ride mine much. I moved and have less room to roam. I'm from Ohio. I may be selling it. If your round that area within driving distance ill let you know. I will prob end up dumping cheap since they arent gonna command the money used like Honda or polaris etc. But that bike does every bit of 50 mph and you don't feel a bump it's insane. It just glides.
Well, there are pipe frame under the racks, and they (platforms) are attached with pipe clamps essentially. So I suppose if you removed them, you could attach something different. I am not sure though. Good luck
I have this exact one after a few months sitting it bogs at higher rpms i changed out spark plug and still same issue have you ran into this ? Im changing out air and fuel filter soon
I have recently purchased one of these have you had any issues at all with anything coming lose or breaking. Mine has been good so far but only 200 miles but I have ridden it very hard the only thing I have found I’m not fond of is the belt case is not all the way sealed where the linhai bracket it on it there is a rubber seal that leaks if you run through water too deep
Yes, I did discover the fuel gauge does not work, but the rest of the dash display does...so I have to open the tank and look at the fuel, Also I count miles before filling up. The range seems to be about 150 miles. It was not worth shipping back to texas for that. had not noticed the seal you are speaking of, but I would check that on mine.
@@briandolim8206 my fuel gauge does not actually tell me the amount of fuel I have just always has 2 bars but it does blink when fuel gets low the seal I speak of is on the left side if you are on the bike when you remove the belt cover there is a metal bracket that goes over the belt cover and that is where the seal is there is a bearing there also that the clutch shaft sits in but I have also not had any major issues just keeping things tight is all I have had to do if you discover anything else reply back and let me know and I will do the same for you
Any idea how to check the case oil? Transfer case? Mine leaked some fluid from somewhere and won't switch to 4WD. I feel like the two are related though it wouldn't shift into 4WD prior to the leak. Any ideas?
I buy one couple months ago but now i have and issue it won't start and got it for farm and fleet but they can't not do anything about it every time I'll take it to them they make it start bout went i get to may house it won't start so I'm going to call the company cause i pay 6000 thousand for it and they are not helping me
That's not good. I discovered a couple things about it not starting, so I will list them here, If you have already tried these ideas, then it must be something wrong. Ist....is the brake clamped? It will not start without the brake on. 2nd....have you moved the RED switch on the left handlebar? It has to be set to run, or not OFF. I think its the middle position for it to run. There may be a short or dust in that switch, so move it around a bit and reset it. Also, when you turn the key on, you have to wait for it to stop blinking on the dash before starting...you will hear the fuel pump running and then stop. Anyway....if you have tried these things then sorry I am out of ideas. Let me know how it goes.
6 months later how do you feel about this ATV? Still good? Im thinking of picking one up tomorrow. Any real complaints and besides general maintenance and problems?
I think overall its a good deal. The top name brands are very expensive, and Im not sure they are worth the difference in price. I do not regret buying it...hope that helps. Cheers
Being a Yooper, you should know,I spent a year in Keweenaw Bay Community, just north of Baraga,so that's a vote of confidence for my purchase.
For sure! And as you know, with all the roads and trails here, any off road vehicle is a blast.
Great video Brian. This is really helpful. Not many people talking about these. Thanks for the content

That sounds great...yes I will do that. Give me a couple weeks as we still have a lot of snow.

Umm...no I have not tried to do that. Is it in the book?
That happened to my MSA 400 I had to take it to the dealership where I got it, I’ve taken it to warranty most of its first year under warranty
My engine started shaking so much my bushing went out any idea where to get the parts ?
Hey brother where is the oil filter hidden?
Do you mind making a general maintence video, where certain things are located? Thanks man.
If it is the same motor as the 300 it has a screen filter in the oil drain plug with a spring
Do they sell them in store at Tractor Supply?
I had to buy it online and pay for ship to store...which was about 8o bucks, so not bad.

What do you think about the speed
I have topped it out at about 48...and since its more of a trail style than racing type, this seems okay.
