I really liked the backwater cruise. Awesome adventure cruising alongside the lush greenery and beautiful flowers in different colors and coconut plantations all around. Took me to a different world altogether, of total peace and calm. Would love to get a glimpse of the daily routine of the people living alongside the backwaters, and their simple lives, .thank you so much for this video.

nice to see the governor of ghana enjoying himself in kerala. and nice to see such a conglamorate of people coming to the backwaters too. i am not from india, but if i ever come to india again ( i was in india in 2016 ) i will surely vizit kerala. what i would do is that i would cover the entire stretch of the backwaters. from the start of the strech to the extreem end of it and back again. that is how i would do it. kerala is indeed the venice of the east. ( just going to make this comment a bit long here, so bare with me ) as someone who loves everything with water and boats in general, this is one of the places i would love to come too. off course, i myself live here on the west coast of Sweden, in a town called gothenburg, where we have a great harbour and port too. if i ever were to buy my own house ( wether in india or sweden ) it would surely be by the sea, where people instead of using cars use boats instead, and even i would own a boat as well. oh well, i guess i have made my point. hope you are well and healthy. stay safe! hello from an iranian woman here in Sweden: Nicki Rafiei.

Vaikom is not a village by the way....it is one of the oldest municipalities in Kerala. The village experience in the video you captured is one of the parts of the vaikom talk located between vaikom and Kochi near SH 15. But your video is just amazing 👏👏❤❤and I must appreciate you for showing us some of the places people are not much explored these days when it comes to village tourism.

I have been to Vaikom and also stayed in village named KS Maglam which is really very Authentic.
There is one itthipula bridge, while going to vaikom, under that bridge there is one small food place run by a couple , its really of great taste

It is a per person rate for these cruise and based on the kind of package pricing would vary. It used to start at Rs.1000 per person.

Sunderbans is far better a place to visit in comparison to kerala backwater... I was really disappointed.... Cost is also very high
Each place has its charm, besides Sunderbans hasn’t yet been exposed to the kind of tourism that’s seen in Kerala. Pricing is a relative factor so no comments on that
