The Prince and Princess of Wales go diving with 2021

- Back in 2022, The Prince and Princess visited Earthshot Prize winner Coral Vita in The Bahamas and took part in a very special experience snorkelling around the beautiful reefs, and planting out new coral.
Coral Vita do incredible work to Revive Our Oceans by giving new life to dying coral reefs, farming corals on land before planting them into oceans. This method sees coral grow up to 50 times faster than traditional methods. Coral is vital for maintaining a healthy ocean ecosystem.
As Earthshot Prize winners they received £1 million to scale their solution and help protect and restore our planet by 2030.

Brilliant! My admiration and the esteem I hold the Prince and Princess of Wales in, has gone up. The work their foundation and Earthshot prize🌍 are doing to encourage, promote and financially support these initiatives shows the PPOW aren’t just all talk but they walk the walk. They and the foundation are taking actionable measures and are producing actionable metrics rather than vanity metrics. That’s the difference here! As a proud Brit 🇬🇧 and a Royalist, I salute their efforts!

It is incredible how big the positive impact of the Earthshot Prize, its endeavours and collaborations already is. I really hope that the Earthshot Prize family grows further, gets the majority of our planet´s population on board and by achieving this will get politicians, politics and big companies to act and implement changes on an even bigger scale.
Let us all support the inventions as much as possible and let us be aware of all the little things we can implement in our everyday lifes that will make a change in long term.

As a former marine biologist and scuba diver who is married to a Bahamian, this was such a special video to watch! I’m so so happy with the work being done to restore corals, and I must say, very impressed that the Prince & Princess of Wales could free dive like that 😉🤗💚

Please do it in Indonesia, we did what we can but sadly coral reefs here is degrading time and time again. We have the most wonderful biodiversity of coral reefs ecosystem, and I really want to keep it good.
Have those who are so like minded contact Coral Vita to share what they have learned so far. I'm sure they would love to see such a program start there, if it hasn't already.
You might be happily surprised to know of the dedicated individuals that are probably also doing this work.
It's all about raising their profiles and getting them the help they need.

This didn't explain the problem and solution. Why are they dying? How does taking it back to a farm for awhile help?
That would have been explained when they were finalists in 2021 - which I'm sure can easily be viewed via RUclips. This was the initiator of Earthshot and his wife going back to see how the wonderful work is developing.
