For #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we headed out onto the water, chatting everything from teamwork to food supplies and just what it takes to look after your mental health when rowing across the Atlantic.

For someone who endured the same tragedy as his brother, he has grown into a very balanced individual. He is so mature and endearing. I admire him and his family
Well said. HRH is a credit to his parents, grandparents, and to all of us looking on. I can remember the day he was born. Such joy and hope. It’s refreshing and inspiring to see how a person uses his position to truly help and elevate others and give focus on worthy events, charities and the people involved versus empty self-promotion.

We have and always are very proud of him and his lovely family.
The RF are diplomatic public servants, that is their role and one the Queen pledged her life to. William made the same pledge to make his mother proud. Unlike others who complain no one asks them how they are doing.
The current team handling the media exposure and publicity for HRHs Prince and Princess of Wales is doing such an amazing job! The content is informative and tastefully done so as not to overwhelm the consumers/audience with too much of their activities.

William's feelings are forgotten in the incessant noise, whining and complaining of his brother. There were two youngsters walking behind that coffin in 1997. One has lived his life with grace, dignity and honour. The other one is called Harry.
I don't think anyone "forgets' ...It must be terribly difficult watching a loved family member self destruct. Everytime another antic happens, my heart hurts for PW.
Especially when their mental health is very top of mind for the family.

It’s sad however the younger one thought his path would be a better one. Who is trapped now. Poor silly Harry.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Prince of Wales will be a wonderful king.
You just wonder when comparing what the monarchy does with what the politicians are doing for the people.
The way I see it monarchy is a respite from the self serving politicians. 🤔

When you see Prince William in situations like this he is so relaxed and that smile lights up his face. The interaction was fab. Good look to the team. Sadly the support was not there for my late brother an RAF air sea rescue winch-man in air sea rescue, i am thrilled that today mental health support is so much better. Well done Prince William for doing your utmost to rid the stigma which enables help to be sort and given.

Agree 100%. Speaking as someone who also lost their mother at a young age: I hope he knows how very proud she would be of him. Both Prince and Princess are doing a beautiful job.

I liked how Prince William referred to mental fitness at the end of this video.
Both coincide with each other, can't be mentally fit if your body is falling apart and visa versa...can't be physically fit if you're not motivated mentally to get out there and work at it .
I love you Prince William, not only because we saw you as the fairy tale prince when you were younger but because of the great human being you have become, we know these last few years have not been easy for you but please stay strong and work for those of us who don't have the possibility to be heard or receive help. God watch over you and protect you.❤

Mental illness can be so debilitating, I say this from experience, that's why exercise is such a great way to relieve anxiety and frustration. Coming from the USA, and having struggled with various mental health issues, I find it amazing to see someone in his capacity showing all that _"it's ok not to be ok"_ Prince William is such a great role model for the world.
Mental strugles are so real, but often not visible to other people. Having a genuine support is also often a line between surviving and suicide.
What I found so humbling was the approach - there was no need for fanfare over PW, the focus was all about the hard work and efforts of this amazing team. He seems so down-to-earth and genuinely interested in these charitable endeavors for the betterment of others.

This conversation was beneficial so people can understand the mindset of what it takes to complete this type of daunting task. This is not easy and competing on top of it adds a layer of difficulty that is not easily understood.

I remember when William was born. It’s fulfilling to see him so responsible, so respectful, so intelligent and engaged. He’s so tall and has such a deep voice that he’s regal even dressed in shorts for a row.

He said his own mother was paranoid and that was not very long ago. Ketamine, MDMA and mushrooms are being heralded as the next huge break through treatment - much, much, much more successful than traditional SSRI's and talk therapy.

I am sharing this video with my son to show him how there are communities of people who listen, understand and support each other holistically. My 23 year old son has bipolar illness and a severe anxiety disorder and finds it very difficult to connect with people because so few are willing to show him empathy and connect. Thank you for keeping this conversation going and, please, don't stop.
I would love a go in that rowing boat. I have done team sports for charity and they are the greatest fun. You are often closer than family because you are struggling with the same task. The hardest part is always the mental challenge. Good luck to the team ❤.
