You guys are funny. This show is basically choose which set of war criminals are you gonna support. I'm Team Black but there are no good guys in this story.
Good or bad is way too simplistic for this & real life. We're all capable of compassion & cruelty which is what's so fascinating. Some sway one way more than the other, but still.
While you're mostly right I would counter that Lyonel Strong was a good, moral, and wise man. He gave good advice and even tried to give up power when he realized he could no longer be unbiased.
I love the meeting of Vhagar and Aemond. Vhagar is like a cranky old lady trying to get her sleep and this new kid is bothering her; but it's a kid who's part of the extended family she's partnered all her long life: years before Laena claimed Vhagar, her rider was Prince Baelon Targaryen, father of Viserys & Daemon and grandfather of Aemond. I wonder if Aemond had a kind of 'family smell', a Targaryen scent, that made Vhagar decide not to fry him for the intrusion into her space and her sleep.
Imagine not keeping Otto's iconic in time you and I together will prevail line but wasting time over Laenor and Rhaenyra whining and crying about being good spouses. That's like not keeping tywin Lannister lines in favor of podrick lines lol.
Who calls Rhaenyra's children bastards and Alicent, Aemond looks at her but won't say it was his mother because he likes his mother, Aemond doesn't like his brother Aegon so he says it was Aegon who keeps calling Rhaenyra's children of bastards but it is actually Alicent who focuses on saying that Rhaenyra's children are bastards, Alicent is very lucky that she is dead as she attacked the heir to the throne more like viserys and a weakling so nothing happened to Alicent This episode was wonderful, the only problem is that the beach scene is very dark, they didn't learn from Game of Thrones, Daemon laughed because corlys' brother was badmouthing Rhaenyra's children look at Rhaenyra's reaction how uncomfortable she is in the scene Daemon and Rhaenyra's wedding scene was so beautiful During the wedding ceremony, Daemon and Rhaenyra would draw two Valyrian glyphs on each other's foreheads, meaning "Fire" and "Blood" - the words of House Targaryen 🔥 Viserys said in episode 4 that they are both dragons and restless, Rhaenyra always loved Daemon as Daemon always loved Rhaenyra is that and spoken of in the book and also and only in the first episode do we realize the connection between the two, as actors Emma and Matt said that Daemon and Rhaenyra were meant to burn together is that they love each other Yes they are marrying for love they both love each other always have We Velaryon Family customs when a person dies they throw the body in the water is their family custom, Already in the Targaryen Family when a person dies in the family they burn the body is their custom too each family has their custom
The funeral was a textbook exposition of building up anticipation into a crescendo without the characters saying a word. Just from the way everyone stares at each other and the gloomy overcast camera work. The whole thing has an ominious, uncomfortable tonality to it. Great visual storytelling. Viserys very clearly cared more about protecting his daughter's children's true identity than he did about his own son's life-threatening injury. I can totally understand why the Queen went bersek, even though there could've been a better way to mediate. When Viserys is raging at Aegon (amazing acting by Paddy Considine btw) and you can clearly tell the boy is shaken inside. But he doesn't lose frame. The resentment and defiance with which he gives his reply tells need to know about the man destiny is about to come calling. Then we have then iconic 'you and I together will prevail' sequence with Otto from the trailers. Yeah cop uncle beach sex is cool and all but it's this side of the Targaryen coin that felt way more intriguing to me.
That Otto could be glad that his young grandson lost an eye because winning Vhagar to their side was worth any price is a measure of how cynical Otto is; he cares less about the pain that his grandson is suffering than about the strategic gain won by that pain. Of course, Otto is the same guy who deliberately placed his daughter in a marriage where he believed her children would eventually would be threatened with death by their half-sister, so why should we be surprised. He's not Grandpa of the Year anymore than he was Father of the Year.
Brah a 10yo loses an eye and you want her adult sister to slap him over an insult lmao Y'all ruthless. And "sharply question" in Westeros is consistently an euphemism for torture. Rhaenyra wanted him tortured, but Alicent bad for reacting like any mother would do even tho she later admited she was emotional and in the wrong. Plus notice Daemon stopping Cole from stopping Alicent so she could be seen as a mad woman and lose Viserys' favor, regardless of if Rhaenyra gets hurt. And of course having an innocent servant killd lol I get not liking team green but its absolutely incredible that your conclusion after this episode is to be team black in such a strongly way tbh.
Aegon got a dragon already…him and the sister got one we just didn’t see them ride yet but aemond was the only one without one. Daemon and rhaenyra planned to let laenor escape that was the point of daemon whole dialogue. Why is the guy on the left just dismissing aemond coming in antagonizing the kids which led to a fight?? Aemond also was beating all 4 kids but still picked up a rock and threatened to kill the boy’s by fire. Luke took his eye because aemond was literally walking to his brother with the rock held up like he was finna hit him. Also why is Alicent in the right when she don’t even know the story?? Yes her son got a eye took out but he also the one that started talking crazy to them about being bastards and stuff and that is a big deal to say to royals. Alicent been calling rhaenyra kids savages since we seen them and you think she’s in the right? Lol rhaenyra literally been alone for 10 years with no Friends other than harwin but he didn’t really do much because he couldn’t neither was laenor doing anything to help smooth things so rhaenyra thought she would create her own little group and that would involve her kids as well. It was terrible luck none of the kids had white hair but that was her mindset to have people around her that loved her because she was so alone and she even told daemon she was alone the 10 years without him so now she got him in her circle as well and they both been wanting to get back to each other during those 10 years.(sorry this was longer than I wanted it to be lmao) great reaction tho btw!
Dude..c'mon if you've watched GOT it's obvious that there is no good characters in this show. They are all morally grey, Especially the major characters. At least your girl understand this. Alicunt is not all that innocent too. She didn't tell Rhaenyra about the relationship that she had with Viserys when they are still best friend. So why did she's so bitter about Rhaenyra not telling her that she fcking anyone else. she's a hypocrite for dissing Targaryen queer custom about incest marriage while in the end she married two of her children to each other and even "sell" her own body to Larys the foot fetish. All i can see she's hating and making all this commotion just because she's jealous of the life Rhaenyra had. Don't blame Rhaenyra that she's born as royal blood and has power to do what she wants, while Alicent is not.
@@breburke7286 Fucking your uncle, wanted your 10yo brother tortured, having an innocent servant killed so you can marry the dude that your father wanted far from power, y'know the usual innocently minding da business lol.
You'll never hear me cheer for Laenor the Coward and Rhaenyra/Daemon the Murderers. Laenor was tired of having a lifestyle that most gay men in Westeros could only dream about - wealth, privilege, sons and parents who loved him and an impressive domain and navy to inherit as well as a very accommodating wife who would be queen one day, poor guy. So he let Rhaenyra and Daemon 'kill' him off and send him and boyfriend Qarl off to freedom in Essos. Wow, what a guy; the price was only the life of an innocent man who Daemon murdered, two little boys who regarded Laenor as their father and grieved for him, and Laenor's parents, already devastated by the death of the daughter, got to have their hearts broken even more by the apparent loss of their son.

Otto will always be criminally underrated.

Aegon already has a dragon, probably the most beautiful dragon ever seen, Sunfyre the Golden. They just didn't show him yet.

Did you do a reaction video for House of the Dragon Episode 6? I couldn't find it anywhere.

Rhaenyra was literally minding her business pretty much the entire epsisoe, she just wanted to F**k her Uncle in peace💀.
