The amount of people in my circle of friends who are active and had hip replacements, and knee reconstruction surgery 😂 they're back on bikes and walking trails.
Seriously though, how good is our junk food. Kettle chips are amazing.

It’s not UL but you need to get one of those personal sized Thermacell anti bug things. You can hang it on your pack or set it near your vestibule to keep the bugs away. It will help with the sand flies. Be well! You are amazing!!
Ooh I wonder if those would really help for sandflies! Luckily they can’t get you while you’re walking, just at camp. But damnnnnn are they itchy!

I didn't know that sandflies are such a pain... I like the bridge and it sounds like a lot of fun to meet the sobo's. They must have started early in the season.
But I understand you prefer you tent over a crowded room...

Yeah the sobo season is much earlier, and I started NOBO quite late. It was sure fun meeting other hikers!
