Someone is extremely lucky to take delivery of that masterpiece. The love, attention, and care alone poured into this piece is astounding. This is what I consider heirloom level craftsmanship in a guitar. Congratulations my friend. Beautiful stuff.
Thank you mate, I appreciate that. This one has been up on reverb for a few weeks and no one has taken it yet, in fact I haven't sold any guitars this year other than commissioned builds. I guess it's the current economic situation.
@@ADFinlayson WOW!!! That's sad that,...... someone this second,....is probably buying a hype train Gibson, when they could own something truly special. SMFH. And yes,....you are absolutely correct about the current economic climate. If I had the money???? Well,.....you know. Best of luck my friend. And God Bless. P.S. Just outta curiosity,......how much???
There's something calming about watching this process with no background music, to me. Amazing work my friend!
Appreciate that, thanks for watching

Thank you mate, my specials are £1850
I'll have to take a look my friend.
How about showing the final product the next time. After watching the work, we need to be rewarded with seeing the beautiful finish.
That is truly perfect. I learned so much from that one episode, even without a word spoken! Well done.
Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful work
Thank you! Cheers!
What a job! Stunning!
Thank you Avi, appreciate that.
Awesome job and video. Would be awesome if there were a final shot with the finished work. 🔥
I was going to do a little playing demo at the end but didn’t get round to it
Hi, looks amazing, I am doing another Birdseye maple top do you think this dark brown would work on Birdseye?
couldn't tell you, I've never used birdseye for a top
Is that a neutral colour that you are washing the brown with?
yes neutral to help blend/fade
Cool! What do you spray before buffing?
The clear coat is cellulose
@@ADFinlayson Sure! Thanks mate. But I actually wanted to ask while buffing, sorry. Is that spirit or water?
Oh that’s just a bit of water and dish soap
@@ADFinlayson To ease the friction right? I’ll try that. Thanks!
Do you level sand before buffing?
yes I had to do quite a bit of level sanding on this top because its very soft and soaked up a lot of lacquer
Did you finish the back of the headstock and the neck with something other than the lacquer?
I lacquered the back of the headstock on this one, shaft of the neck was oiled
what brand is the colors that you used to stain the guitar?
Chestnut dyes and Crimson stunning stains
