Staying at the cheapest accommodation in Bangkok Thailand. Was this $3 hostel any good?

- I stayed at the cheapest hostel I could find on booking . com while I was in Bangkok, the hostel costed me somewhere around $3 USD. After staying at that hostel for a night, I changed the hostel, and the new one costed me somewhere around $5 USD for a night. There are a lot of cheap hostels near Khaosan road. If you want to stay in Bangkok on a budget, hostels can be a nice place to stay.

One thing about you Sam is that you are never complaining. There are too many Thailand RUclipsrs who specialize in complaining.
Sometimes I think like there is no point of complaining, because in the end we get what we pay for. So, there's no point in having high expectations for a lower price.
2nd option for $5 was a much better choice Sam, breakfast was toast and cookies 😂. Not a big fan of the shoe storage area for the $3 hostel 😷
That's right Bruce, $5 was awesome. I stayed at the $5 for 2 nights, and only once did I drank a coffee, and ate some cookies. But they have cold free water 24X7 which was a good thing. For brunch I walked to the local Sikh Temple which offers Free unlimited food in the morning.
Planning to travel to Thailand next year. Is it dangerous? Heard there are lots of scammers.

I like the 2nd option better than the 1st one. Those cheap hostel are basically an old shophouse that turn into hostel business, right? Are they owned and run by INDIAN?
I guess they have been running as the hostels since a long time now. I think the staff there was Burmese, not sure about the owners.

2-3 din hi ek hotel book karo. Even Bangkok mai 2-3 din Asok area. 2-3 din Khaosan area. 2-3 Bang Na area Iss type sai alag alag hotel karlo.
Phir lamba rukne ka mann nhi kia to uss hotel ki booking cancel kar lena. Free cancellation options wale hotels book karlo.
Same Pattaya mai 2-4 din walking street area. 2-3 Jometien, 2-3 North Pattaya. Alag alag hotel books kar sakte ho.

Option hota hai pay at the property. Wo option wala hotel book karoge to hatho hath property pai pahuch kai hi dene hote hai
