I guess with the higher cost of living nowadays, rent, house repayments, bills and food all going through the roof, the Nikon D750 secondhand is a viable budget option for those not splashed with cash 📸
Purchased my D750 upon retiring in 2015 as a first DSLR camera, intent on reviving a 25 year idled photography hobby. This year, while shooting vistas in Montana, the shutter mechanism broke. I sent it to Nikon for repairs, expecting a $300+ repair bill. Nikon replaced the shutter and did a complete refurbish - and did it all at zero cost, for 'goodwill', they even covered the cost of shipping it back to me. Kudos to Nikon for a great product and great service.
Keith, That’s great to hear…I’m about ready to pull the trigger on a D750 (reviving a 15 year idled hobby) glad to hear Nikon stepped up to cover the cost…did you send it to them directly or go through a camera shop?
might not be "goodwill" cause the D750 was RECALLED for shutter problems at the very start, they probably saw your serial number was one that never came back before
I just bought one today out of a gut feeling because it was a a deal i could not resist and looking at these videos i am becoming more and more certain that i did the right thing. It will be my 4th Nikon and i am beginning to understand why my dad had several analog Nikons and always wanted another. Must be the genes...miss you, dad.
You are exactly correct. It's not the gear that takes the photograph, It's the photographer. Love seeing video's about older model cameras. There is nothing wrong with a working camera body. Great Video Adrian.
I started my Nikon adventure with a D200. Later I made a step up to a D300s. In 2014 I read a review on a new Nikon release and put the D750 in my bucket list. Since then there have been a host of priorities that put a new camera on the someday list. Someday has come and my bucket list contains one less item. The D750 is a dream come true. Being a bit of DSLR dinosaur, I can't imagine ever wanting or needing more. I am smiling a lot lately.
Image quality is excellent. The color isn’t like most cameras models. The colors are richly balanced and has this filmic feel rather than digital to its pictures. And it’s a joy working with these photos in Lightroom. Just got mine a couple days back and I’m not at all regretting it!
I am encouraging everyone to sell their DSLRs so i can double on my FX gear for the next 10 years and still go on holiday. This Z is a wet dream for me Speaking of film look D3 and D700 jpgs are even more amazing. And more cheap
If i may ask, what do you see are the practical the differences (+/-) between the D750 and D610. I have a D750 and wondered if I should pick up a D610 and if so, why? Thanks in advance. Thumbs up.
I totally agree with your comments. The important thing about this camera is that, in my case, it makes me feel very comfortable with it. Long live the D750. Hello from Madrid, Spain
I have had my D750 for 7 years now. It's the best camera I have ever owned. I bought the Z6ii about a month ago. And I love that camera so far as well. But I am definitely going to keep my D750. No way I can bring myself to part with it. I mostly do studio shoots with an occasional outdoor shoot. Both cameras are outstanding.
Thank you Adrian for another great video. Just for information, I am an amateur; I purchased my Nikon D750 new in 2017. It is still going strong and has never let me down.
Just bought a D750 today with a 50mm 1.8G - lots to learn but looking forward to it - it was your Astro video that convinced me to give it a try 😊 looks like a great allrounder…
You are so right about this camera, the shots out of it are high quality for sure and that doesn't change no matter how many new models come out. Built to last and still does an amazing job - which you can see by your many great examples.
Just started my journey in photography outside of my cell phones like my Iphone 15 pro, I was gifted a D750 by a friend who just bought a mirrorless camera. I love this camera and can't wait to use it to its full potential as I learn more about it.
I bought my D750 in 2020 with the intention of learning how to use it and also, as a hobby. Then, covid hit and it got put aside. So now in 2024, I have a brand new D750 to continue exploring photography with. Your videos made me pick it back up again because I was going to sell it to get a mirrorless.
Hi Adrian, absolutely true. It is the photographer's skill, not the camera. You can take stunning photos even with your phone 🙂 But anyway, the D750 is definitely a good camera and there is no reason for not buying it. Thank you for the video, buddy! Enjoy your weekend, Christian
Thanks for watching Christian. D750 does deliver some great images I have to admit. I’m glad I kept it and didn’t sell it. Have fun this weekend buddy cheers 🍻 🙏
D750 has been my main camera for years. 3 years ago got a D850 primarily for aerial work, but with the new AI editing features, the D750 can do the job about as well. Heck, my D700s upscale very nicely (and quickly) in Lightroom classic, rivaling the standard D750 files. Did upscale the D850 a time or two but realized I'd need a lot more computer. ...and a lot more storage!
Adrian, great video. Yup the Nikon D750 was on my wish list when I was about ready to retire, and during Christmas in 2018, it was going for under $1,000. BUT, my wife did want to send that much money. So, I had to wait for few years later, I purchase a Nikon Z5 on sale under $900.
I only just bought one last week. I have three Nikon film SLRs, a D40 and D90 and every one of them still works, from my FE from 40 years ago to my DSLRs. Nikon is pure magic.
Great video Adrian...I still use my D500 & had thought of upgrading to a D780....do you think the D780 is any better than the D750 as I am only a hobbyist but always strive to get more update gear.... thanks..😊
Hi Robert - thanks so much for watching the video. I have another video coming out this Saturday pretty much answering your question. See you then cheers 🙏
I have a D750 and I love it, especially for indoor photos with natural light without a flash. It is simply a classic camera that does everything well. 🎉
Thanks Adrian , excellent video , I have 2 Nikon D750’s bought them when they first came out and would not change them I still use them frequently today they are excellent cameras and there is no need to ‘upgrade’ they do everything that I need and as you know the longer you have the same camera , you get to know it inside out , Kind Regards , Alex

@@adrianalfordphotography recently bought the Pocket 3 with mic, very good 👍
I just returned from my holidays with it and even I’m still impressed 😅 I took it along with me because it was lighter than my D850 and knew I wouldn’t be disappointed! My fave function is the U1 and U2 function which came in handy at the Melbourne City fireworks 🎆 because I dialled in my settings and saved them while capturing other scenes. You can have 3 different settings ready to go at your finger tips 👌
Thank you for the effort and sharing. I am an appreciative subscriber. I literally photographed an event this morning and opted for the D750 because the built in flash just added a kiss of fill flash via TTL and that was all I needed. The D750 is often the right tool for the job. Thumbs up.
Love my D750 in Bakersfield, CA. Too many hobbies so I haven't shot it in a while. I am already planning a couple photo safaris for retirement all I need is a prime zoom lens and I will make some art.
I heard the dynamic range out of this camera is pretty insane. I saw one of your other D750 videos with that baby bird in a tree notch and it was crazy dark, yet you recovered stuff in post. Can see why people are still wanting it.
Hello my friend since I’ve been a subscriber to your channel you have done videos and taken some amazing stills with your trusty D750. So I am not surprised they are still selling them in 2024. 👏👏📸🙏🏼
Thank you so much for watching my friend. D750 is just one of those cameras with everything I need and more. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated and have an awesome weekend, take care 🙏📸
Nice job Adrian! You make me want to travel to Australia! I'm a retired visual journalist who bought a D780 and the D750 (as back-up) for my retirement. The D750 has 20 test frames on it and I was thinking of unloading it in favor of buying a Z8 set-up. But your video is making me re-think this! I'm not shooting much video these days and I simply need a reliable, high quality still camera for my nature shoots.
hello, thank you for the video I am planning buying a secondhand d750 mainly for studio product shots, do you think it’s great? What lens do you recommend! Thank you and keep up the great work!🎉
I love my D750. I'm constantly amazed at the quality of the photos it produces. And one of the selling points for me, why I preferred it over the newer D780, was the pop-up flash. So handy, and works really well when you don't have your speedlight with you.
👍Holy truth, the Nikon D750 is a great camera. This is my first full frame SLR camera, it takes great photos and I'm still not convinced about the need to upgrade to the Nikons mirrorless.👏
I recently bought a refurbished (can't tell it!) D750 and love it. Coupled with a Nikkor AF-S 28-300 f3.5-5.6 G VR lens, it is an excellent, albeit slightly heavy combination.
Got mine last year .. Mainly for the pop up flash !! well really for the the CLS Flash control that the pop up flash allows !! but also the really good sensor.
I do have a Nikon D500 Crop Sensor, also have a Nikon Z50 mirrorless. I also have my D600 full frame but thinking on change it for a D750., possibly in the next month or so. I am a Nikon fan since the late 70's and have never regret it. I use to have a Nikon FM2 that my grandpa' gifted me back in the late 70's and since then I have been Nikon... Today I am just about to enter into my 65th birthday and getting ready for my retirement and the D750 will be my replacement of the D600 which have been great to me. The D500 and the Z50 are my go to for wildlife (D500) and Z50 for my Macro. I really appreciate your videos on the D750 and have giving me the information needed for my decision... Thank you very much.
I am a 51 yr old hobbiyst and have been using Nikon DX DSLR's since the D70 came out. After going through the D5000, D3100 and the D7200, I finally decided to switch to full frame and restrict myself to a 50mm lens to reboot my photography skills. Did not want to spend a fortune on a mirrorless option hence researched and decided to go for the D750. Was a little apprehensive due to the recall issues with this model but checked the serial on the unit if it wasn't on the recall list and took the plunge. Was lucky to find a new body and a well kept 50mm 1.8G lens on the used market. I am a little old school and wanted to stick to a DSLR and my intentions is to take stills only. Watching these videos, I am happy I made the right decision.
Great video, thanks. I bought my D750 when they were first released and have used it for professional portraiture ever since. It's never missed a beat and the output quality has never been questioned by my clients. I started with a new D70 when they first came out, then upgraded to D300, followed by a D7100 (all DX) until finally upgrading to the D750 FX. The larger viewfinder alone was a huge improvement and the quality over the D7100 was noticable. I've considered the Z mirrorless range but I can't justify the cost of changing over, considering it's not going to increase my client base or income.
Thanks for watching. That’s exactly right. Clients don’t ask what camera you take photos with. They just care about the quality of the photos which the D750 delivers in spades 👍
Wow! What a bargain on the secondhand market the 750 is! That camera certainly has been a workhorse for you whether it be video or stills. Ten years old or not, this seems like a great camera to keep in your arsenal until the day it stops working (if it ever stops working)! Makes a great companion to your D850 and your mirrorless! Great video mate, really enjoyed it! Have a great week down there!
Thank you so much Paul. I agree the D750 is an amazing camera in its own right. So having it as a back up should my D850 or Z7 goes down, is a worthy replacement. I know it's got my back. Hope you have an awesome week up there in the cool. 37 degrees here today, phew! I'm gettin' old haha! Cheers mate 🙏📸
@@adrianalfordphotography Florida temperatures down there for you, I don't miss that at all. On the polar opposite, our wind-chill temp yesterday morning was -19° C.
Adrian it's Awesome too hear you say you Love ❤️ The D'750. I will never let my D-750 go and like you said it does everything you want it to do. And yes this is my second Camera that i luv to the Moon and back -- It feels so good in the hand, And oh boy is it a Workhorse.! Thanks again Adrian.!!! Boston Massachusetts
I bought my D750 in 2017 and really loved it, although I could use a good class on some of the more technical aspects of this camera. Also, could you recommend a good tripod? Thanks, and I really enjoyed this video.
Bought it last spring for the reputation for low light. After first outing shooting Rodeo at night at first look I was disappointed, until I began to post process, and I was blown away as I raised the exposure and shadows the quality and detail was jaw dropping!!!
I have a D750 that I got just last year. It has less than 1000 clicks on it. The original owner had bought it while moving and thought he had lost it in the move and only found it several years later. I got it as I have a wonderful Nikon F4 and several very nice screw drive lenses for that set up and finally decided I wanted a digital Nikon that could use those lenses. The D750 is a natural for me. I'm not a professional but a very serious amateur and so I figured and I think rightly so that the 750 was a better fit for me than a D850 or any of the mirrorless Zed cameras that wouldn't have been able to fully use the lenses I have.
I bought a D750 second hand around 2 years ago, had a low shutter count and I thought it was a great upgrade from my D3300. I use it for family events and to take photos of my daughter in her ballet shows and school activities. It's great to see videos like yours that encourage me to improve my photography with the camera. I have gotten some great shots with the Yongnuo 50mm, still have to find a good zoom, currently I have a Tamron 28-75 and a somewhat sketchy Sigma 70-200 still to be tamed. I was thinking of going mirrorless but don't have the cash right now so will keep playing with the D750 for a while.
I still own a D750 that I bought in Italy on vacation in 2016, and I still use it today. It takes great pictures after I adjusted the settings to suit my needs. It will probably stay with me until it stops working.
Super video Adrian, as you know I don't shoot Nikon but I think all manufacturers sometimes almost hit the mark perfectly and when a model like that comes along and you happen to have it they hold a certain spot in your heart. I really love my now outdate Sony A6400 and like you with the D750 it would be very hard to part with it!👍👍👌👌
i have a d850 and d750 but last year the front curtain on d750 broke up inside the camera and i urgently looked for another knowing full well they were getting scarce but luckily i bought one for £795 gbp with 2000 shutter count it had everything as new ,when i can afford it ill get the other repaired and that will give me 2 d750 s which will last me now , my d850 is fantastic which is my main camera..great video by the way .
Mine unfortunately fell into a river... I regret it very much, but I switched to the D780 which gives me just as much satisfaction. Still, the D750 had a little something special for me. A great camera!
I just bought one second hand after months of looking in the second hand market. I have researched this camera extensively as my upgrade from the D3400. I have taken hundreds of thousands of photos and I always invested in lenses over the body. But I am so impressed with the D750 so far.
Great video Adrian! Infact I have been watching your other vids as well. Keep up the great work! Last year after using D800 and D7000 for a long time I wanted to buy a mirrorless full frame, but looking at the prices opted for D750 and paired that with Nikkor 16-35mm, 24-120mm and 80-400mm 5.6GVR for an Alpine trip in Europe. The results were stunning and I had no regret of not buying any mirrorless, and want to continue with this camera! So when I found your video totally agree with you!
Adrian again thank you for still loving the D-750, I will always watch your content as long as you continually have something to say about one of my favorite Cameras.! Kudos for you.!!! I always watch Commercials straight through, I like B&H anyways, other than the Stock learning as well, I purposely watch them because I know it gives you incentives as well.! It's the least I can do to support you.! Thanks for keeping up with the Nikon D750 Boston ❤️ Massachusetts A.K.A. BostonMassachusetts/TimeTraveler
I bought my D750 factory refurbished in 2017, and I'm still using it to this day. My only real complaint has been the way Lightroom's camera profiles handle color, especially skin tones. It's a beast for studio portraits and astro. I use it for burlesque shows, where the dynamic range really comes in handy. The max ISO of 6400 can be a bit limiting in dimly lit bars, but Lightroom's amazing new AI denoise has really extended its usefulness.
Hi Adrian, I'm a wedding photographer in upstate NY I own 3 Nikon bodies I use 2 when shooting weddings the D750 W/ Nikkor 70-200 & D780 W/ Nikkor 24-70.
@renediazphotography3273 When shooting events, I have two D750 cameras, one hanging on my left with the 24-70 and the one on my right with the 70-200. Great combination when I'm the only shooter. Bought one D750 last year and one this year (2024).
I think it's not just about the D750 that's keeping it relevant. The new mirrorless cameras caused all the pros to sell their F-mount glass and switch to the new mirrorless mounts. This was further compounded by the Z6 and the Z7 not being as good as the Canon and Sony offerings when they released (most of this was fixed with either firmware updates or the series II versions of the cameras) so then people switched to systems which the F-mount glass was not adaptable to. The market was flooded with expensive F-mount glass and the prices went down. I bought a D500 with grip, 2 peak design straps, a bag, a ton of lenses: 18-140mm DX VR, 35mm f/1.8, 40mm f/2.8 micro, 50mm f/1.4, 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 VR, and 200-500mm f/5.6 VR for less than $3000 a few months ago. To buy all of that glass (which isn't even available for Nikon in the Z-mount) for mirrorless would cost at least double, maybe triple.
I guess with the higher cost of living nowadays, rent, house repayments, bills and food all going through the roof, the Nikon D750 secondhand is a viable budget option for those not splashed with cash 📸

Thanks for watching. Yeah I know that feeling when you get some great shots and think wow this camera is still awesome. Enjoy your weekend mate 🙏👍
Thank you for the effort and sharing. I am an appreciative subscriber. I literally photographed an event this morning and opted for the D750 because the built in flash just added a kiss of fill flash via TTL and that was all I needed. The D750 is often the right tool for the job. Thumbs up.
Yes, my D750 focuses reliably, has low noise, good colour and it focuses my old screw driven D lenses too.
I purchased a used D750 a couple of years ago and have no regrets, it does everything that I want very nicely.
I’ve also had a D750 since 2017, and it’s a fantastic camera. I have no intention of selling it. Thanks for a great video!
Love my D750 in Bakersfield, CA. Too many hobbies so I haven't shot it in a while. I am already planning a couple photo safaris for retirement all I need is a prime zoom lens and I will make some art.
Bought one a few years ago as my first Full-frame camera for Portraits. Still love it. Still going string
Yes, I still have my D750 and I plan on keeping it.
I've had mine since new, still my daily in 2024
I bought mine back in '15, and I am still very happy with it :-)
Professional wedding photographer here too, I always have my D750 on my left and my A7iii on my right. It’s my dream team 😊
I heard the dynamic range out of this camera is pretty insane. I saw one of your other D750 videos with that baby bird in a tree notch and it was crazy dark, yet you recovered stuff in post. Can see why people are still wanting it.
Thanks for watching. Yeah I remember that. D750 is very impressive for recovery of dark areas in pics. Enjoy your weekend 📸🙏
I have bought mine in december as a beginner. I didn't regret it.
hello,thank you for the video
I am planning buying a secondhand d750 mainly for studio product shots, do you think it’s great? What lens do you recommend! Thank you and keep up the great work!🎉
I still have 2 D750's from my old wedding kit. I was just considering selling them today.
Still have, use and love my D750.
Of course I'm also thinking about mirrorless, but I'd never sell the 750.
Thanks for the video!
I love my D750. I'm constantly amazed at the quality of the photos it produces. And one of the selling points for me, why I preferred it over the newer D780, was the pop-up flash. So handy, and works really well when you don't have your speedlight with you.
I have the Nikon D750 and was thinking of selling until I saw your video. I may but respect it so much more. It’s definitely a great camera!! Thanks
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
I bought my D750 in 2019, and I’m still happy with the image quality I get
I bought a new 750 just before it was discontinued, love using it but also have a z7 for more detail if needed. Both are great 😊
Great video, thanks.
It is a really a great camera. It is incredible at how many pros still use this and the D700 for professional work.
Cheers David, thanks so much buddy 🙏
And yes this is my second Camera that i luv to the Moon and back --
It feels so good in the hand, And oh boy is it a Workhorse.!
Thanks again Adrian.!!!

Thank you so much for watching the video 🙏
Adrian, nice video, I appreciate you still loving the D750. Never had one my self but you can’t argue the quality camera that it is.
Thank you for watching. Just something magic about this camera that I can't bring myself to part with it. Have an awesome weekend my friend, cheers 🙏📸
Love my D750 bought it to replace my D700 as my main way back in 2015. Still going strong and no plans on upgrading it.
Love your channel, keep up the great work. I have a Nikon D750 and love it!
Many thanks for watching.
It was my first full frame camera, bought in 2014 and used 5 years. Amazing camera.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
That's so great to read! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
Still use my D750 and my D3 love the colours they give
Awesome. Thanks for watching 🙏
I still use Nikon D750 until now. Love it
@@syafarizal awesome
I really love my now outdate Sony A6400 and like you with the D750 it would be very hard to part with it!👍👍👌👌
Thanks for watching Scott. I use the D750 weekly for at least something I have to do. It’s always been a reliable camera. Cheers mate 🙏👍
Yep, still love my D750s. I have two.
Awesome 👍🙏
i have a d850 and d750 but last year the front curtain on d750 broke up inside the camera and i urgently looked for another knowing full well they were getting scarce but luckily i bought one for £795 gbp with 2000 shutter count it had everything as new ,when i can afford it ill get the other repaired and that will give me 2 d750 s which will last me now , my d850 is fantastic which is my main camera..great video by the way .
Awesome read cheers mate. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
Mine unfortunately fell into a river... I regret it very much, but I switched to the D780 which gives me just as much satisfaction. Still, the D750 had a little something special for me. A great camera!
I still own a Nikon D750 and love it.
Thanks for watching. Just something very special about the D750 images. I love it 🙏
Adrian again thank you for still loving the D-750, I will always watch your content as long as you continually have something to say about one of my favorite Cameras.!
Kudos for you.!!!
I always watch Commercials straight through, I like B&H anyways, other than the Stock learning as well,
I purposely watch them because I know it gives you incentives as well.!
It's the least I can do to support you.!
Thanks for keeping up with the

I bought my D750 factory refurbished in 2017, and I'm still using it to this day. My only real complaint has been the way Lightroom's camera profiles handle color, especially skin tones. It's a beast for studio portraits and astro. I use it for burlesque shows, where the dynamic range really comes in handy. The max ISO of 6400 can be a bit limiting in dimly lit bars, but Lightroom's amazing new AI denoise has really extended its usefulness.
Thank you for watching
I bought this D750 in the year of 2016 and still am using it side by side with Z6ii.
Both of them are very good indeed.
Hi Adrian, I'm a wedding photographer in upstate NY I own 3 Nikon bodies I use 2 when shooting weddings the D750 W/ Nikkor 70-200 & D780 W/ Nikkor 24-70.
That's brilliant to hear. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
@renediazphotography3273 When shooting events, I have two D750 cameras, one hanging on my left with the 24-70 and the one on my right with the 70-200. Great combination when I'm the only shooter.
Bought one D750 last year and one this year (2024).
I still own the d750, and appreciate ur videos on this camera. Also enjoy ur channel
I bought mine new right as the 780 was announced. I shoot it along with my d7000. Love both and I am not planning on getting rid of them.
Absolutely still own the Nikon D750.
I still am using D750, in mint condition. Love it.
Oh Yes We still going strong with my D750
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
Yes, I still have it and use it even though I have Nikon Zf and Z8. I will never sell the D750 . Thanks for the video
That's brilliant! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, sharing your thoughts, much appreciated 🙏
