As I said, in the video, I appreciate that he apologized, and I think his first part of the apology was very well put and said however, not directly, addressing what people are calling you out on, and making a vague and somewhat disingenuous feeling apology didn’t sit right with me at all, and I shared my opinions and said what I said.

Here’s my opinion on the matter: if he said it was his own money that he spent on the animation(most) people would only clown him on his animation, if it’s the fan money that he spent on the animations then the people are in the right to be mad at him, people give him money for more beatbox not for his pleasure
I personally don't take this as an apology or a defence, more as an acknowledgement that something happened that is causing him to get hate. He is extremely vague about what actually happened and what most people actually have an issue with, he worded it in a way where someone without too much knowledge on the situation could see his video, just think that he's apologised and continue supporting him

I'm on the fence with Verbalase's public statement, I believe his heart's in the right place, but it's vague. There was the situation asking fans directly for money, where people are still unsure if that went to paying Cartoon Beatbox animators or the AMV.
His trans statements caused a tizzy. In Verb's discord paragraphs, he states he has trans friends he loves, but also that they shouldn't "pretend to be girls" and "corrupt youth trying to be normal". He probably didn't word any of that correctly, because he was trying to explain a point of view that missed hard. If we're to go off what he said in his repsonse, these views were influenced by outside sources, he was negatively reflecting the type of people that judged him, and he won't be making these types of comments in the future.
Verbalase and Charlie memes are still baller, made my January.
The thing that upsets me the most is he took money from his own animators, good on him for apologizing about the bigotry but he probably believes since it was from his Patreon/channel he can use it on whatever (which is true to an extent) but he promised it would be for the channel and his animations

Literally the best reaction channel on RUclips right next to JJJacksfilms. I used to love Verbalase’s content and even though I stopped watching him a long time ago, I would occasionally check up on him and his old stuff still holds up well to this day, his content was very good. It really is a shame to see the type of person he really is. This one of the first times a RUclipsr getting cancelled has actually hurt me. Seriously don’t understand how people are defending Verbalase and saying nothing is wrong with what he did. I also don’t understand how people are attacking you in the comments and making fun of your content even though your reactions are transformative and original. Stay strong and keep it up 👍

I think that Verbalase addressing things is enough bc i think he doesnt really have to apologize i mean when he requested the animation he wouldn't even have enough patreon money to make one so he probably used his own money. Also, if he made any money out of the animation, he probably used that money directly to CBB series. I also think ase not addressing 50k dollars is not a huge deal because the whole point is he used a big money and failed to make even more money because he took it down (the nerd emoji and posting only in his second channel were kinda frustrating tho i can kinda get why he put the nerd emoji there because he usually puts that emoji when he is addressing or announcing something)

Someone downloaded the video and leaked it after he realized it was probably a bad idea. The average patreon artist makes 375$ to 1000$ yearly and since CBB has been down for a year or two there is no way Verbalase made even 2.5k dollars from patreon in the span of two years; in fact, the Tom Dillion show (the highest paid patreon artist) only makes 222 dollars a month; 222 x 12 = 2664$ which is his yearly earnings, if we assume Verbalase makes as much as The Tom Dillion show in a year than that man would have to wait 18 years before getting to 50k, there is a 0% chance he used the patreons money.

I appreciate that he apologized, since it is the least he could do. But, as some people said, he didn’t address everything he needed to address, and the apology does seem a bit disingenuous. But I do still appreciate that he was at least able to apologize.
