It's not the fact that he commisioned something from an artist or group of artists for that matter
It's not the fact that he indulged himself into his fantasy

But it's the fact that he spent that much (and he way overpayed imo) of the funds that people were giving him out of goodwill when he can direct those funds on something way more productive for his channel and double up the total investment he put into that now infamous animation.

Verbalase had asked for money at times on some videos about how because of the RUclips changes he stops getting money from Cartoon Beatbox Battles (his main series,which he had to pay the animators for each episode) and he had delayed a lot of episodes. Some people are probably mad since he just wasted that much money on that and then he goes asking for donations and continuing Cartoon Beatbox Battles.

I've been a fan of Verbalase for years, ever since episode 11 of CBB came out, and seeing you, an actually trustworthy creator who has a similar experience with Ase, give a detailed discussion about the situation, is exactly the kind of thing I needed to wrap my head around everything that's been going on.
Ase has claimed time after time that CBB is in financial trouble, and I suppose this is the twist reveal where he was never in any financial trouble that wasn't brought on by an absolutely abhorrent waste of his money, and now he's lying about the allegations themselves too. We're not suddenly deciding we hate you, Verbalase, we've been fans of you for years on end. There is firm evidence against you, which you need to refute if you want anyone to respect you. We'll change our mind if you successfully prove yourself innocent. I don't like Dream in the slightest, but his response was obviously the best course of action, and I have no doubt in my mind that he's innocent of the literal crimes. The fact that I actually trust Dream more than I trust Verbalase is something I never thought I would have to say.
Fuck Verbalase, go support JosiahGAmesTV instead. That's a creator who knows how to talk about a serious subject.

If the allegations are false he can just say they are and disprove them. It's not complicated at all.

Saddest part is that you could get something of similar quality for $300-400 from most freelancers.
It’s genuinely really sad to see all of this go down because like verbalase used to be like one of my favorite channels ever and like his videos genuinely helped me so much mentally. I’m so disappointed in him, and I’m sure that his channel will be even more dead than before, because once the Spotlight is off on him in a few weeks, he will become forgotten forever.. and especially since a lot of fans are unsubscribing now.

Channels like SML, Futuristic Hub, and others will have a fan base of kids and will do downbad stuff and as a kid, we won’t realize until we get older. I really support this channels, but I can’t believe what they did, as if they don’t know that 90% of there fans are kids. I have been blasted with countless videos just calling Verbalase weird, looking at the cartoon, and I could care less what a man does what his money, but with further context I can clearly see the implications of this expense and it's disgusting, and disturbing.

at first i was telling people that they need to chill it's his money he's an adult and can do whatever with it. then again i had no idea he ask for donations and it all went into that video instead of his beatboxes that he told his fans what the money was for. glad you explained it better then just roasting
This video helped me realize that this is basically Lord Bung situation all over again, from the amount of money to fund the series eventually putting that money into soft core p*rn and the self insert character being placed in the creators fantasy. Not to mention trying to play it off when everything was released.

Never watched his content, but I’ll probably be very pissed if a content creator I supported used the money I gave him specifically to use for making videos used it all on crack or simp animations, and then tried to cover it all up to their under age audience.
