"at the end of the day" meets "you can't teach that"
the ardist you can’t teach that at the end of the day
Literally was just thinking that lol
thats sounds like a new franchise
A dynamic duo for sure!!
I love sayings!
If Elias has taught me anything, it's that you can't teach things.
😂
Just can't teach that
Well you can but thank you
I really wanted to learn too, but cant teach it. Im out of luck i guess.
You just can’t
came here bc i need someone to validate how incessant that was - thank you
I didn't learn a single thing from this video. Nothing could be taught.
Well, these dogs have more intelligence than you for sure.
@@SuperManNV wooooosh
@@SuperManNV this was a reference to Elias's catchphrase in the video btw
Big boi uno reverse
F0r3m4n my man just shhhh
I love how goofy Brad is and yet he has such an appreciation for food and life, like he could make an episode talking about cardboard and I'd still find it super entertaining. And also, non-american speaking, Elias is the epitome of how you'd imagine a good ol' country guy. You just can't teach that.
yeah country people are usually backwards and racist af. Elias is a nice breath of fresh air.
Fidel Guevara maybe if it was still the 1920’s you’d be right
Fidel Guevara oh shut up dude
@@korndud Ok Mr. Communist revolution

I love Vinny’s pans to the “patient boys”
the patient boys are on point
Patient boys are good boys. Much love, wow
Great boys. Amazing boys.
And him pointing out all the things you can't teach
"Meat mat"
Matt, the Editor: "Hey"
I saw that Matt. You are one smart, creative dude.
Well I'd like to Meet Matt.
also the fruit ninja edit at 15:00 is top notch creativity
That Matt Hunziker, what a rascal
@@winterkeptuswarm Loved when he put his holiday into Part 3 of Brad and Claire making sourdough doughnuts :D
I was so confused because Hunzi was editing these but Vinnie was still filming them
10:03 - he stuck a feather in his hat and called it Brad Leone 🎻
Lol that was great
Heyyyy that was smart!
perfect!
😂 Amazing
Whens Elias getting his show "You can't Teach that"?!?!
Thought exact same
It's a cooking show. Which is perfect because 99.9% of people who watch cooking shows aren't watching it to learn anything.
Outro to every episode "thanks for watching 'You can't teach that' but I just did"
That phrase ....all teachable...ugh
Yeah let's do it. I live close I can track him down. I'll film Elias doing things but only capture his face. He can't teach anything that way
it's not alive anymore, brad
it's not a problem anymore-simply nailogical
@@UmmTalha. it's not a problem anymore
It was at one point
Ikr it suppose to be its dead with brad.
Yeah the title card was a bit conflicting
I feel like the "water" was the culmination of years of jokes, 3 years for this pay off. Amazing.
That's how we do it at Bon Appetite
"you just can't teach that" he says as he teaches you to cook pheasant
For record, he was appreciating Brad's skills and experience. Looks like he got to see a good hunter and raw chef as package deal(Brad) in a long while..
Brad: "I tied my shoelaces"
Elias: "You just can't teach that"
The guys at Bon Appétit should give Vinny and the editor raise just on account of how proffessionally they consistently points out where every visible dog is in every video for me to squeal at.
Also, hope to see more Elias in the future!
Vinny doesnt edit the videos
@@jakedemedeiros9978 editors dont film the dogs mate. OP is talking about the sideshots of the dogs, not the editing.
@@jakedemedeiros9978 Then give the editor a raise too, I DON'T CARE. Vinny for the sneaky dog footage, and the editor for those precious dog edits.

The more I watch Brad's videos, the more I'm convinced all of them are just bits of the insanely elaborate and complex mating dance Brad is putting on for Vinny.
I love the fact that they’re showing us the entire process from kill to cook, it makes you appreciate food so much more
Brads word vomit is probably my favourite part of this series FOR SURE
Dear Vinny,
Who's better than us?
Love, Brad
That sounds so real it's insane.
Low key upset good patient boi got no treats on camera
sad patient boi
He definitely got something to eat
It's a hunting dog.
He definitely got all the treat-os so its ok
@@Uglyprincw i mean i really really doubt he's actually hungry. Dogs pack bond with their humans and when they see you eating or cooking they want some too. my dog does it all the time and even the most well behaved dogs will "beg" for food by waiting patiently for you to give them a nibble or to drop something even if they have their own food right there in their bowl. Plus they talked about/showed notes on screen about how Utah would get a wing for positive reinforcement in his training. i bet the dogs might have even already gotten treats and were still hoping for more :)
Not exaggerating at all: you guys should make this a regular thing, even thinking about it's own series. Honestly, I'd watch this on TV or Netflix.
Huntin' 'n Cookin' with Brad and Eli

First turkey bacon, now back to pheasants. Eli is getting around lol
And sausages

Epicurious and Bon appetite have the same parent company though...
Also deli meats
That was so clean when the editor put "water" for elias instead of the usual "wourder"
Ok but garden goals
👀 💯
Sooooooo... You gonna feed the two lovely, patient boys?
Chips N' Dip they will not feed them any of the bird meat, since they are hunting dogs you don’t want them to get the taste of bird. If they do they will chew on the bird before the retrieve it to you, but I’m sure they got a good dinner too!

(The editors name is Matt Hunziker)
and so did your comment about it :D
I don't know who Elias is, but he is clearly a gourmand. Probably professional training. Not a country bumpkin hunter. He was all over the raclette. That dude is awesome. Love it ❤️💕.
He works at a sausage factory.
Dan T he owns the sausage factory
Everyone talks about Brad and Elias, but no ome mentions the true stars..
Utah and Leather. The goodest and most patient of bois
Tara Holte I mean, I personally don’t care about them
In all seriousness, Brad and Eli could start their own cooking channel and run the food game on RUclips.

@@brianlee3345 I get you, it's just that Brad also takes joy on helping Claire resolve whatever she needs to do, and that's why I missed his appearance on the studio.
I love how Claire even asked for Brad in the video 😂
Brad has amazing chemistry with all his guests, but these two together are amazing! I’d watch a whole series with them cohosting lol
love these episodes!! great way to show how a ethical hunt can turn into a responsible and wonderful way to provide food for your household. I wish people would understand that there is a huge disconnect between our food supply and ethical ways to get what you need without needless waste and mistreatment (nature and human workers). I just harvested a deer this season, and it will provide quality meat for a couple of families this winter. thank you for showing this Mr. Leone! keep up the great vids!
Never enough It's Alive. SO glad to hear Brad's role has changed and now he will be dedicated to making these videos. Wish the series was daily!
EDIT: Also, Elias rules. Dude is hilarious and you can tell him and Brad get along really well. Co-host material for Brad's spinoff hunting show!
E30XYZ I like all the things you are saying
Music to my ears 😍🤗
I love how at 10:03 Brad randomly acquires a feather in his beanie
I believe it's traditionally referred to as macaroni.
Haha then at 11:49 a pretend bird plucks it away - love the editing
I like how the whole time they were hunting they discussed how amazing the birds looked, and even when cutting to eat it, were still wowed by the amazing sight of the feather. Love the attitude.
Ah he’s the meat expert from Epicurious no wonder he looked familiar

Elias and Brad have such good chemistry together, I still remember that how to make sausage video they did like a year ago and was hoping they'd do something else together, they make it so much fun to watch.

Most important question : Did the patient good bois get some of that pheasant?
Tbh I didn't care about Brad and Elias. Feed the good boys!
Geez. Elias's whole like house and land is stunning, those apple trees are beautiful! Eventually if I learn to garden right and quit murdering every plant I grow, I'd like to have my garden look like theirs

DID THE DOGS GET FED?
Asking the real questions
was wondering the entire time hahahahah
Rumor has it that the dogs are still waiting to eat til this day. Who’s a GOOD boy!!
They got fed - you can hear Elias say towards the end "come and get some dinner" to his doggies just before a cut. I was very relieved hahaha.
Usually you don't want to feed the dogs what they hunt. They will start to see them as food and kill them instead of flushing them.
Elias is so adorable and shy haha. It's almost like he checks to see if he's saying the right thing eventhought he knows 100% what's he is talking about.
"My boss is great" made me smile broadly at 1 in the morning when I was falling asleep lmao

I need more Brad and Elias bromance. Best two episodes on "It's Alive" imho.
“Speed!” - This is what the cameraperson or sound recordist will call out to acknowledge that they are rolling. It comes from the days when it took a few seconds for certain equipment to reach proper speed.

When I was thirteen years old in a freezing cold field in the middle of nowhere North Dakota being very reluctantly taught (you just can't teach that!) how to field dress a pheasant by my dad, I never could have possibly pictured millions of people eagerly watching a video of two hipster dudes doing the same thing 25 years later.
100% - upstate NY for me. Aren't you glad on some level that millions of hipsters are eagerly watching this tho? Comments are pretty tame too. Maybe there is hope.
atomly would you really call them hipsters though? Not being antagonist. A large part of the demographic of viewers, whatever that means, but it seems like Brad and Elias grew up doing this sort of thing. All hipster phenomena start somewhere genuine. Anyways, it’s good we are all getting together behind good, sustainable food.
