You see, College humor is only half dead. That means that it’s not completely dead.
These are all pre-filmed months in advance. CH just still has a big backlog of skits and stuff that are from before their funding was cut.

Uh dang, didn’t expect this comment to take off, never got this many likes before! And dropping in at 666 is pretty cool, and I’m all seriousness, ive been a pretty big fan of collegehumor for a very long time, and it’s sad to see what’s happening. I hope that one day things turn around for the better, and collegehumor can continue making great skits and new dropout shows!

@@doremonhg Parent company aren't making as much money as they want, so cut Collegehumor from their funding. Now Sams in charge of everything, but No Money=No Staff. So the majority of the cast and crew are out of a job.

Robert Smith it’s not that they weren’t making as much as they wanted, the idiots at college humour were not making there parent company’s ANYTHING. They gave college humour 20 years to try and make them some money in the hopes they’d eventually do something right but of course that didn’t happen.
I was really getting interested in that father/brother story and wanted to hear more...

Hi i am Elecktro college humour let go like 100+ employees and is only keeping a handful. So all these videos you see are pre recorded months ago, and all the actors are basically jobless
@@bensagnella757 The good news is you don't have to! They still have months of content prerecorded, plus a great platform in Dropout, so I reckon that Sam probably has a decent chance of pulling Collegehumor out of this intact in one form or another. I wouldn't be surprised if they were to start hiring the former cast and writers back on a gig basis either!
That does mean that it's more important now than ever that they get a steady revenue stream again. Subscribe to Dropout if you like what they've done, folks.

Honestly I was expecting Raph to order for her when Tao showed up. It's always irritating to see guys do that in TV or movies like they're allowed to take away someone's choice of meal, but in this case it would be a twist on that because he would actually know what she wants because of his creepy stalking habit.

I will grant you in this case that is true and it would have been funny. But speaking on behalf of traditional gentlemen and all those who know the truth about chivalry (that it's not dead, just the people who appreciate it are), it can actually be polite to order for a woman IF you have asked her what she wants first.
@@Superdarkcloud666 lol you probably don't even know what chivalry actually means. It's a super flexible code of honor imposed on knights by the lords they served. It's not an inherently respectible thing. It could mean mutilating corpses if the lord said so. Also, I don't need my car door opened for me. It's a weird awkward pause in a social situation. I like having store doors opened for me but also having a guy accept me doing the same for him. Screw "chivalry." Just be polite. The only time a guy has ever ordered for me is when we were doing some discreet kink stuff where he's in charge or if it's an unfamiliar cuisine and I don't know the menu items at all. Prescriptive chilvalry should be dead
@@msjkramey It was also that but it was later solidified into a code of conduct, by a very famous knight, who later knights wanted to emulate, it was absolutely not as honourable as most people assume, so you're dead on in that regard, but it for a time did mean a knight could be trusted to at least attempt to live up to a set of values, that being said, yeah as a dude, I will take your word on how it feels to have a guy do those chivalry things

Just because it's public doesn't mean it was meant for you. When someone leaves their house they are in public. Them being in public doesn't make it ok for you to follow them.

Just because you can look at all of the the information does not mean you should look through it systematically.
Technically you can find out someones last name just by following them home and reading the sign on the door.
That information is public but in some contexts that can count as stalking already.
And if the person in front of you feels offended it really does not matter if it is stalking or not - you won't change their mind.
WtF everyone, checking someone's facebook is not the same as following them around. Its the equivalent of someone taking their pictures then writing notes/captions and hanging them on the fence. Thats what a public account is, is everyone that looks a stalker?
But yeah raph is a stalker, for pete's sale he checked messaged her family and even hacked into her medical records! Hahaha

The whole "you know how your brother is old enough to be your dad?" thing really hit home for me. My Granddad's brother was adopted. He looks like everyone else in the family and he was suddenly found after my Granddad's unmarried sister dissapeared for a while. So he's probably actually my Granddad's secret nephew. It sucks that that's the way things went at the time, and genetic lineage isn't the end all of what makes a family anyways. We never did genetic testing or anything, but it doesn't matter to us. He's my Uncle Chris no matter what. I just feel bad because he's never felt like he belonged anywhere his whole life. The cherry on top was when he found that he apparently unknowlingly got an ex pregnant and was only told when she died and suddenly he had a teenage daughter and I had a new cousin. It broke his heart because he would have been there if he'd known because of what he went through, but he didn't get the chance to. Even worse, his wife and love of his life is infertile and they always wanted children so badly. She's amazing though and she was a little thrown off, but was super excited to finally have a child in her household. Blended families can be hard and complex, but they're completely worth it if you have love to give

On the bright side I think Brennan is staying on, so if CH gets back on their feet (I’m confident they will) they’ll still have some semblance of familiarity left.
I also really hope everybody finds jobs befitting their skills but I will say that UCB (Upright Citizen’s Brigade, comedy organization) keeps a lot of popular comedians going for awhile as they find work and if anyone from the cast is still looking for work while CH gets back on their feet it’s still possible we’ll see some returns :)

That "Againnnn" leaves me thinking that Christine would make for a solid death metal singer.
I often wonder how concepts of privacy will change in the coming generations in our digital age. Younger Millinials and Gen Z have been raised in a society where they are encouraged to broadcast their personal lives to everyone, oversharing personal details without the implicit understanding that they have given away control over how that information is used.
This results in the doublethink of leaving years of their personal lives accessible to anyone who can view those accounts, but becoming uncomfortable when someone fully utilizes those privileges, or at least is honest about using them.
Either the coming generation will laugh at our blatant disregard for managing our own privacy, or will become so used to the idea of their lives being public that the idea of "cyber-stalking" will change in meaning significantly.

My neighbors kid when we where in middle school had a crush on me but was a weirdo so id be in the backyard sun bathing(im pasty white id burn every time i just wanted to be noticed at school) and from his side of the fence id hear a soft sigh and a click then id hear a door open and close when they moved he gave me box and when i opened it there was the photo of me sun...burning and little hearts around it. There was even a note saying "i kept some of the pictures to remember you by" yeah on ur desk next to a bottle of lotion and a tissue box. Ben if ur reading this (doubtfuly) i hope u changed and threw them away. If not get help.
