I took levofloxacin 500mg for 10 days. On the first day taking them i went on youtube and started reading all the comments and i was petrified from all the negative comments. Last night i took my last dose. I feel fine and my epididymitis is gone. I was so scared the whole time taking them because of these comments. Not saying they dont have side effects because they obviously do. I had no nausea, no fast heart beat, no tendon rupture, no anaphylaxis, no restlessness, i actually slept good, no depression. Just finish your medication as your doctor prescribed. Dont freak yourself out reading all these comments!

I immediately asked my doctor and he just said I'll be fine as I'm just 16 and I never had a problem regarding joints so I used it even tho I was scared, right after taking the final dose I didn't feel any kind of pain in joints or somthing except for a small tingling on back of the lower part of leg. My doctor said to not work out and wait for a week and I did, after a week I started working out again, 2 months in. I completely forgot about it as the tingling was also gone the day I stopped taking levofloxacin. It's been 3 months now and I'm still doing fine and people say this med weakens the tissue in leg but I do taekwondo and I can say that I've been using those muscles just 1 week after I stopped taking meds and I was fine. Whoever's reading this, don't worry. If your doctor pescribed it, take the meds, it will rarely have any long term side effect.
