I don't comment often but, this video is one of the most helpful videos I've watched! I was searching on "How to convert your video to 60fps" and I found your video, I followed all of your instructions and I was very pleased with the end result! I love your videos! They're straight to the point and easy to understand and the simplicity of it! Because of that, I subscribed! I hope to see more videos form you! Keep the great work, and hopefully, your channel would grow more!
Yes, however, there is a chance you may get dropped frames in your output video. It all depends on how powerful your hardware is. More powerful hardware = better results. If you don't have high end hardware, then I suggest you do the sharpening and frame interpolation separately.
@@DaGoose Ah okay. I got one more random problem that has started. For some reason every video now has no audio at the last few seconds of the video. For when converting to 60fps etc. Know what setting or how to fix it?
I have a video 720x576 resolution 25FPS, from a PAL mini-DV capture, should I still use the recommended bit-rate of "720x480 (480p): 3,000kb/s" when converting to x264?
@@DaGoose I'm going to deInterlace the video using QTGMC(AviSynth) with Bob to double the FPS to 50. Should I still set the bit-rate to 3000kb/s or change it to 4500kb/s ?
Hybrid does not offer Dolby surround audio encoding. However, you can so very a stereo track to 5.1 if you set the downmix of the audio (in the filtering tab under my cursor in 2:17) to 5.1.
Should we do the 30 fps to 60 fps (or 24 etc to 60) first and then do the sharpening? because I notice the synth part is different here. So guessing we can't do the fps conversion and sharpening at same time?
@@Bran615 No, the developer simply does not have a certificate for the program (unknown publisher) which is why it was flagged by antivirus. Does this include Anime/Cartoons or is it only videos? Sorry I'm really tired and I'm about to go to bed so I can't watch the full vid. Anyway thanks for the tutorial!!
Hey, In your description you made an error here "(you don't want the colors and blocky artefacts in a low quality video to stand out!)" You spelt artifacts wrong haha.
Don’t expect major quality changes using this guide, it’s only sharpening. This guide is only meant for high quality videos that need enhancements. Lower quality videos will not work using this guide.

Teach us more senpai. I cant find anyone doing the hybrid turtorials better than you do.
Bruh, your tutorial is clearly explained. Well done!
Can you make an update video regarding this? Becausd some of the features in this video were not found in today.
could you teach us on how to upscale cartoons via waifu2x or esrgan?
BlueHatGaming yes, that will be my next guide in the hybrid tutorial series
so helpful man seriously thanks. !!
I don't have the "none" option in the "Deinterlacer" dropdown menu.
Skip the step
Ohk
Bro you are good ❤
Latest hybrid version doesn't have this option (un)-sharpen , any other way to do it
It’s there it just moved to the ffmpeg tab
Man, you're just awesome😍
Oh yes finally
can i enhance/upscale 1080p to 4k?
yes, I have a video about it. Please see here: ruclips.net/video/k9CaRx-Qk2o/видео.html
Can you combine the process of converting 30 fps video to 60 fps and the sharpening at the same time?

@@DaGoose what's frame interpolation mean? is it where the black artefacts appear sometimes?
The Real OAFs Frame interpolation refers to the frame rate upscale.

Marcos Vallejo yes
@@DaGoose Thank you! And from Bitrate do I put 640 or do I leave it at 320? .
Marcos Vallejo set the bitrate to the same as your input audio bitrate
And you can do the same only in Prores + up frame rate?

Should we do the 30 fps to 60 fps (or 24 etc to 60) first and then do the sharpening? because I notice the synth part is different here. So guessing we can't do the fps conversion and sharpening at same time?
The Real OAFs Do the sharpening first to help save time. Then do the 60fps conversion:)
@@DaGoose Yes makes sense, thank you :) Any chance you can add the bitrates in description for 8K?
The Real OAFs the encoder can’t encode at resolutions above 4K
@@DaGoose Yeah I thought so, was gonna do it all in 8K but will stick to 4K then.
How to rotate with custom resolution????Can u help
Please go to my video on “how to crop any video in hybrid” and go to the 3:06 timestamp. There, you can select to rotate the video.
I like 20th Century Fox thanks for using it as a example
