My niece has loved Horrible Histories since she was 5 years of age when it was produced as an animated series in the 1990s. She collected all the books. She was so excited when it became a live action series. She can still sing the song about every monarch in England. When she was in high school she chose modern and ancient history to study. She used to send tweets to the Horrible History actors when she was in high school. She completed her Bachelor of Classical Studies at the Australian National University 5 years ago and has recently submitted her thesis for her masters degree on aspects of the Ancient Greek law court speeches. She had been to Europe and the UK several times, been to Turkey all in the name of her studies in ancient history. This all came about because Horrible Histories ignited her passion for history.
