One of my greatest fears in life is that one day, hopefully far in the future, when my dad actually passes away, I will have that song stuck in my head.
That actually happened to me when my dad died. It was just after his funeral, I was tired after all the hullabaloo. Took some time alone in my room, laying in bed I came across the king George video, I laughed my ass off then the realisation of just having buried my dad set in and I started crying but the video was on a loop so I was laughing and crying. Took me a few minutes to compose myself, then I remembered dad's sense of humour and he probably would've found that bit hilarious and I started up again.
Ben playing the Captain in Ghosts, a man who never laughs- AND that there‘s a whole episode dedicated to Jim‘s character trying to make him laugh. I cannot imagine how many takes that took.

It´s Ben Corpsing 90%of the time, isn´t he? he really cant hold himself when theres Jim around. Now I understand why he says "it is,IT IS HARD TO LOOK AT YOU JIM!!!!"
It's v likely bc they picked comedians/Edinburgh Fringe fest people who are funny (Ben has a Perrier Award for Best Newcomer from the 90s and Mat trained as an actual clown with Phillippe Gaulier who trained people like Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter & Emma Thompson) rather than kids TV people who may or may not have been funny.
I think it's fantastic. Kids should have quality entertainment catered towards them too, not just bad toilet humour and cheesy watered down rubbish. HH helped shape a lot of kids' senses of humour

I'm so sad that Ghosts is in it's final season, another wonderful show with hilarious outtakes. No matter what this talented crew does, I'm going to watch it, they're just that amazingly good at it!
