So it’s the 8 o’clock noose, the 9 o’clock noose and then the noose at 10. It’s an incredibly clever joke that might only work if you live in Britain as I’m not sure how other countries have their news
Horrible Histories had the best send off song ever recorded for a series in my opinion..
Then CBBC ruined it by rebooting it with new actors..

idk why but every time i watch these all i can think about is the absolutely soul-crushing implication that this person read the comments referencing each skit and just instantly Knew which episode out of however many seasons of horrible histories the quote was from and cut them into this video. either that or they went through the whole series each time looking for them which is equally terrifying! either way, this must have taken a lot of time
or they just looked up the phrase and took the clips that other people have already put up, then compiled them together
I went an entire 2 months when I was younger playing the "ra-ra Cleopatra" song in my earphones every morning while I got ready for school lmfao
same for me with the pachacuti and english royalty songs
i did the exact same with the William William Henry Steven song, i recorded it on a old phone and would listen to it all the time lmao now i know the kings and queens off by heart so i guess it paid off

My parents and I where on a trip to Thailand I was like 6 or something. And they met one of the producers on a boat, they told them all about the plan for horrible histories and my parents just laughed thinking it was stupid. Fast forward a couple years it was my favourite TV show and I'd spend hours of the day singing 'WILLIAM WALLACE SCOTTISH REBEL!'

I went to Europe for about a week,discovered this show,loved it,and now I can’t get enough of it
I made a joke that went “what’s an executioner’s favourite tv program? The Noose at 10” before I saw the horrible histories sketch and I still can’t get over it to this day.
Horrible histories is one of the greatest shows of all time (imo)! It's educational, entertaining, and has only the best medical treatments
I remember last year i was sitting beside the "weird kid" at school (he wasnt weird in the slightest actually, he was pretty cool) and we found out that we both liked watching horrible histories so we'd always be quoting it. One time when we were in the middle of a test he leaned over and whispered "Alexaaaaandria" and i laughed really loudly and got in big trouble. It was still funny though :)

This show was ICONIC when I was younger. I was never taught history in high school so this was probably better and way more entertaining. Also this is the same cast used in BBC's Ghosts.
