I know right? She did everything she could. I can’t even imagine the money she spent for these trainers to make her dog worse.

This was a very important interview. Too many people are fooled by Dog Daddy and can't see the forest for the rose-colored glasses they wear. I for one am very proud of Andrea for having the courage to speak out about her experience with him; we know there are so many more out there whose dogs have been traumatized by this influencer, but they're too afraid (and maybe too embarrassed) to speak up. Andrea's courage in coming forward will hopefully give those others the courage to do the same.
I have followed this story almost from the very beginning. In this interview, Andrea said Wu came back from his board and trains doing okay, and then he would relapse again and end up worse than before. Based on that, I would love to see 3 month and 6 month updates about how things are going for them. So much love, hard work, and money has been put into helping this owner and her beautiful boy; I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to know how they're doing down the road.

Hi. Thanks for commenting and following Wu’s story. Fall off is always a concern. The difference between our program and the others is the attention paid to teaching the owner. Plus we offer follow up support as time goes on. Currently they are both in our group class as we speak. With the amount of time and bruises we have endured we are committed to ensuring their success

Dawg Saddy has attendees sign an NDA prior to attending class. That's possibly why people, in the main, don't speak out and its only other trainers and people involved in dogs that do speak against him.

Question- how can you use food as abuse in training? I am not from the positive only club, but I want your clarification on that. Thanks

Can you give us a follow-up in a few months to see how they are doing? Will be highly appreciated 🎉

Every human doesn’t respond well to the exact same training so it’s ridiculous to expect all other intelligent beings, like dogs, are going to respond exactly the same to the one way of training.
A lot of people really need to check their ego at the door, train the animal they have in front of them, and if they can’t get the results needed they need to be humble enough to say so.

Poor Wu and poor Wu's mom - it must be hard for owners to know which trainer is right for them and their dog.

Food just meaning you can over feed your dog. Not necessarily strictly training. But having an overweight dog is abuse.

I loved to hear the lady's experience. I took a dog that was for the first 5 years of his life. I took him because of this and because of my age of nearly 70 now. He was nearly euthanized because of his aggression problems. He has all the aggression problems you can think of except maternal aggression. His fear aggression was the most terrible - it was towards people, animals and certain objects. He was badly socialised in all that time. Because he is autistic some problems already started in his very young puppy time. In the Netherlands the dog schools are almost only with positive training and avoiding every problem that cannot be solved like that. My dog before that was totally different, but also autistic. I had to learn him normal dog behaviour to an extent that I even had to learn him to be attractive to femal dogs in heat. He scared even those dogs away. He ended up supersocial to everything end everyone. But he stayed fearful in situations he did not know yet - but he knew almost all situations. I knew he would have become fear aggressive without that lifetime training in socialisation. So I had no experience in fear aggression, let alone fear aggression lasting already 5 years. I searched the Internet to know all about fear aggression. So I learned a lot already before I found your site. And I totally agree that you need to use the four quadrant technique. I had a lot of problems when I put this on my Facebook site. I even got blocked by ProDogTraining when I told them that their method did not work for this dog. So the story of the above-mentioned lady is familiar to me - even her frustration. I even had to start with winning the trust of my dog to accept corrections in any form. At the moment he is making great progress - of course with the 4 quadrant technique combined with play. And even playing with me he first had to learn. I am so content with trainers like you, who never give up on a dog and just see what is going to work for a dog. The problems "Sorry" (the name this Malinois got from a good trainer) has, are never to be solved with positive only training. So keep up the good work...

imagine paying some odd thousands of dollars only to see that the training method just involves abusing a dog and offers no real help.

Just how we make fun of that little man who gets the loudest fastest most obnoxious car to overcompensate, I think it’s the same thing w women and huge dogs, but we don’t make fun or question women. (At least the soft cute, little girl voice, type of woman, there are some women who are perfectly fit for dogs like these, like female jockeys)
    Just an opinion.
And I say the same for guys.
