You dominat@3:21 you dominate the dog just like Casear Milan, just like Dog Daddy
Out of the 3 of you youre in 3rd place. But deep respect for you taking on these large dogs Caesar and most professionals avoid. But at least the other two guys dont bully other trainers doing the same exact thing. Keep up the xl dog training but build a name before you cast the first stone.

I LOVE this story. This is such an incredible transformation. People really can’t see how what you did was different from DD and that’s okay. The people with more than two brain cells can see the fundamental difference.
I really appreciate that you included the clip where you preemptively corrected, realized your mistake and immediately encouraged Wu to make that right choice.
The owner is also doing a phenomenal job. Great work to everyone involved!

Zhahn-Pam again. When working with dogs like Wu, I don't allow the Mom/Dad in the same room. They observe away and out of sight of the dog. Touch should be timed and not casually given. You do not talk to the dog unnecessarily. Your communication, knowledge, interpretation, and skill are 10+. Training is far more than commands. I tell my clients to lead them, believe in and trust their dog. Dogs will know, and respond accordingly. You are a pleasure to watch.

I am a year and a half into life with a dobie. Lucy is now 3 and spent the first year and a half of her life with no rules. Rough play with a border collie brother. I had to teach her pack rules and spent the first few months using domination as the default. If it works for a wolf pack, it works for us. Once she accepted my role as leader her behaviour has started to reflect the Doberman breed. Big dogs are leaners and it's good to see you push Wu around. It's great to see other trainers find success with the same methods.

Hi, my name is Zhahn-Pam . I have been training dogs since 1969. Excellent e-collar work, and communication. Perfect technique. Watching you is like looking into a mirror. I have 8 rescued dogs, 4 are mixed with power breeds in my pack. It is so nice to watch a true professional at work. Not a showman, not a Zac George or Victoria Stillwell. Communication, excellent tool skills, get top results.

He looks alot like my american bulldog I had years ago. He was a hybrid American bulldog his dad was a Johnson and was 135 lbs and his mom was a scott about 85 lbs and I got him at 12 weeks and he ended up at 3 years old around 105 lbs of pure muscle and I never had a bond with any dog I owned like I had with him. They are incredibly smart and intuitive and when there Is relationship with mutual respect they are the best dogs. They naturally have guardian instincts and I always had him meet people by telling them the don't look touch or talk to him and ignore him and after 2 mins he would be your best friend but he nipped my aunt when I wasn't home and she didn't follow any rules and walked up to him fast loud and arms wide open and I told her that she's wrong. Alot ofppl dont understand how to properly meet a dog and ignore common decency and they are asking to get bit.

I just love the fact that you are showing the good the bad and the ugly with your videos. As a dog trainer myself, I love your approach along with your attitude about other trainers. The way Dog Daddy portrays dog training in his videos does a great disservice to our industry as does the misinformed and unjustified force free community. I couldn't agree with you more!!

OK, I'm going to bite. But before I say anything about DD, I will say there is nothing to debunk on what was done in this video. What I will say is that his comment about DD seems to lack perspective. First of all, the initial "battle" is for tiring the dog and to show it that what is is doing isn't working. It is just a first step and does not define how DD actually trains. Second, while the dogs do appear to shut down, they get over it and you can see from their expression when they realize nothing bad happened. After that, they listen and that's when the actual training starts. To be fair, I have seen 2 dogs who had their tail tucked in even at the end. Most dogs are wagging their tails during the actual training. That only proves that different dogs have different needs. But most look fine when DD plays with them at the end.
Also, I don't think DD claims that he can "cure" dogs in a day. He tries to give the owners the tools to properly handle the dogs at home. He also has longer videos where he shows actual training yhat he does with his clients at their homes.
At the end of the day, they have different techniques. Here, it is dominance, as clearly shown when he put the dog down, on its side. DD on the other hand, just let's the dog get tired and figure out for itself that his actions aren't working. In both cases, they went on to working on training once they got the dog to where it listened. 😊

wouldnt use one on a small breed due to sensitive neck. with my 30lb dog who loves to try to bite joggers and strangers who try to pet him on walks or just go by i use a front clip harness and get his attention off of the stimuli with a treat. i keep it in my hand near his nose until the stimuli is gone then he gets it. I also taught him ¨leave it¨, ¨look at me¨, and to do nose work while the stimuli is still there. i also do threshold training with him where we start off with the stimuli at a distance and if no reaction other than staring but not fixating he gets a reward then we decrease the distance. if he reacts at a shorter distance i go back to our previous position and restart. in some cases we just do defensive walking and body blocking so he cant even get the chance to bite. I am thinking of adding a ¨DO NOT PET¨ harness or collar to the mix....the world doesn't need to be touching YOUR dog. socialization is not just about having dozens of people touch your dog (which stresses most dogs out) its mostly about how well your dog can walk on a leash and not be a bother. it took us months but he has greatly improved.

Everyone using the dog daddy for clout. You did the exact same thing he does on day 1. Correct the dog by shutting the dog down. Have you seen him walk his pack of German Shepherds in west Hollywood off leash? That’s called trained. It’s always the positive trainers who take the dog away from all the stimulation into their rural area in the middle of nowhere to train and hope the dog can keep the same attitude in the suburbs or city life.

I would have so much more respect for you if you hadn't continued to talk about dog daddy or if your techniques were different in anyway. She took Wu to a dog daddy seminar with ten other dogs and expected the same result she got with your 1-1 weeks of training!
I'm not a massive fan of dog daddy but I now have no respect for because you are trying to make a name for yourself because you trained a dog that he didn't. We have all been there! I train dogs locally that a behaviourist with qualifications coming out of his arse continually can not help! There are other trainers that I give dogs to that I can not help! It's not a simple process! You should have more self respect than this!
