I love my VW Polo 9n... But there are 5 little quirks which definitely annoy me! If you want to see 5 things I love about this beautiful little beast, click: ruclips.net/video/xll8eVwPwIQ/видео.html
I have a polo clasic 3(6kv2) from the year 2000. The engine is 1.9 TDI alh with 90hp(5-6l in town). My front windows are electric, the trunk is big, and if I need more space, I can push the backseats in the car. I got the car for 1000 euro and the repairs were a bit over 1000 euro. You cand find a good, cheap old car. I got the same problem with the raining water as you. In the winter, my driver door is freezing so I have to get in from the passenger seat. After 4th gear, the car looses power. And what I dislike the most, I don't have an arm rest. Overall, I love my car.
its a god vinter car:P but the 2008 model is better it have 80 hp, much nice cool lights from and back, and it have eletric windows man:D i have that model and i love that car man^^
I had one of these, named her Polly. The window situation annoyed, she wasn't very fuel efficient and sometimes she wouldn't start straight away but I loved her simplicity and the fact that it was real driving and there wasn't much that could go wrong as there was very little in the way of electrics. Also, I loved headlights, think they're really cute. As a VW she was also very comfy so couldn't complain about long journeys. Unfortunately I lost control of her in the rain and crashed her (my fault not hers) and wrote her off but I do believe she saved my life, very safe in a crash and would not put me off getting another polo in the future.
Sorry to hear about the crash, I know what it feels like to write a car off! But yeah agreed the simplicity of the car is a key benefit, as well as the safety aspect - it's also surprisingly spacious inside given how small the car is!
@@CarsWithJB Hey pop your hood and check the front fuse box ontop of your battery all the 9n's have that problem..the last fuse might be broken which is for ABS
@@innocentsihle51295 Very accurate. It's a small metal plate type fuse that likes to crack. Had the same issue with mine- R50 fuse and no ABS warnings :) found the video on it on youtube
The door seal holding water is because you have both an inner and outer seal on the door so the rain water gets trapped between the two, you can mod the seal by cutting a little V in it at the bottom to let the water run out. If your fan blower only works on full speed then your heater resistor is gone and needs replacing
DJ Hatstand great info - I did the heater resistor (made a video on it) after working out what that was and of course it fixed it, but regarding the seal I'll definitely give that a try. Thanks for watching!
I have a 1.2 litre Polo 9N as well but mine is the 12v version with 64bhp. I don't have rolldown windows in the front they're electric and I don't have the problem with the rain. She's my first car and I've owned her for a year and a half. She is slow but I think she's still a good car. I like the round headlights in my opinion because they're like the old Beetle's and it's very economical. I'm 6ft 4 and I find it sooo comfortable to drive it's amazing how it's so spacious inside given the relative space on the outside. The boot is small but quite normal for a hatchback and it doesn't give me any problems at all mechanically so I couldn't have asked for a better first car in my opinion. Plus it handles corners like an absolute beast the chassis is amazing.
They definitely do have a charm to them! I'll definitely follow this video up with a '5 things I love about my VW Polo 9N' because there are a lot of things to like about the car as you've mentioned. You're definitely right about chassis - it is really good, compared to my old car she turns like a dream. Obviously I was spoiled before with my Skoda Estate with the boot space because I could fit a BMX or my golf clubs in the back easily, which I can't in the Polo (but most cars wouldn't be able to anyway haha). As a first car (or as a second car for me) 100% the 9N is a great choice, cheap insurance and cheap to buy as well. I'm jealous of your extra 10hp though haha
Yeah they do have a lot of things to love. Here in Malta they hold their value relatively well. Believe me I understand where you're coming form in terms of boot space we have an Opel Zafira 7 seater and a Peugeot 307 estate which have massive boots in comparison. I don't carry much from day to either way and a quarter of my boot is taken up by my subwoofer. Oh yeah and on the power 10hp isn't a massive difference haha It's quite nippy for a 3 cylinder engine though I can almost keep up with my friend who has a 1.4 litre petrol with 75hp. I was thinking of making a buyer's guide for anyone wanting to buy a 9N as well, I was pleasantly surprised to find this video
That's really cool - I came to Malta in 2014 and the car scene was really cool, considered importing a classic car from Malta to the UK as well because of right-hand drive. Yeah that makes sense - I feel like the Polo is perfect as a runaround/first car/canvas for modifications, and a good car to learn in/on. Haha I'll take any extra hp I can get! That would be a good idea - I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the support :)
Got 1.4 2003 16v model. It is slow as hell when you're trying to move off the traffic light but once it gets going it goes like any other car. I do drive like an old man though (no point in trying to race when you will just embarrass yourself). I do hate the massive body roll when cornering (worse when it's a long corner). But the engine is smooth and reliable. I've done close to 50k miles in the last 3 years, never had any trouble. I've had to top up engine oil every few months though... Quite used to it now. I've got front electric windows which is handy. Spent a lot on suspension components though. Coz they failed mot. But it's a common problem among polo's. Although I like the car, I do feel like an old man when on it. Haha
I've had my '54 reg Polo since June and I really like it so far. Its pretty quiet, comfortable and the 1.4 has enough power most of the time. My dad just got a '57 reg 1.4 TDI Polo and that really shifts! Amazing how much difference the turbo makes.
Yeah definitely a step up to have the 1.4 - and it really is insane what a turbo does - hoping to swap my engine to the 1.8T which would make life a lot more fun!
I'm glad to hear you're not just hating on your car without acknowledging that it still serves it's purpose of getting you from A to B. If you didn't, Penny would hear you and probably bare drop her transmission on the ground next time your on the motorway. Does sound like you could've spent a bit more on 1.4 16V with power windows and avoided many of the problems you're having.
A cheap clay bar from eBay should remove the black spots. Cone filter will help with the noise. Won't make a difference with power though but will make you think you're going 100 all the time
I'm on it with the clay bar - need to do it soon as I'm thinking of wrapping the roof gloss black. Come filter is a good shout haha - just depends at the moment because an engine swap is on the cards in the near future, which could help with both noise and power! Thanks for watching boss 🤙🏽
I had one of these for my 1st car and I loved it. Was gutted when I had to get rid of it. I now have a 64 plate polo and not gonna lie. Some parts of the old one I loved compared to my new one haha
Haha it definitely has a charm to it, such a plucky little car. I love mine (which I never expected to when I bought it) - nice that you have a 64 plate still though, hopefully it does you well 🤙🏽 thanks for watching!
I have a 2004 1.9 diesel and she's by far the most fun car I've had. I do agree with the whole round headlight thing, it's definitely not the best looking polo and the boot space can be annoying. Have to admit though I now have a new found appreciation for my electric windows. Having to lean over to wind down that passenger window must grate a little! Totally enjoyed this tho, great video :)
dude i own a Mercedes benz w203 c220 cdi from 2005 and i love it to death. its my first car and i am only 19. my friends joke around bc its a diesel(2.2 L ) but just like you i love her to death. while yes mine is not fast too i still have a shit lot of fun with her with the torque that she offers(perfect for albanian back roads). be proud of what you own guys bc in the end of the day its yours
I had a 51 plate Polo 1.4, the predecessor to yours and it only had 59bhp and 8 valves. It was painful trying to get up to 70mph, but I still loved the car. Mine had electric front windows, but the switches were wearing out which meant they barely worked at all! I've moved up in the world to a modern BMW now, but I still see little design choices in the Beamer that remind me of my first car, as well as my previous VW Jetta.
Haha it really is a stretch getting the car to 70! I feel like the car sits well at high speeds once it gets there, but getting there is horrible. Glad to hear that you're on to bigger and better cars still!
I have a Polo 9n3, the facelift version of the 9n and it’s a German LDH 5-door car in silver. Mine has the 1.9 TDI with 101hp which makes it plenty fast. 0-60mph in 8.6 seconds and a top speed (measured with GPS) 133mph (215 km/h). Fuel economy is great. I get about 51.3mpg - 70.6mpg (4l - 5.5l/100km) depending on the temperature, driven speed and the overall weather conditions. I never had big issues with my car although I can confirm that if it rains, you do get wet feet sometimes. For the rest of your points, I can’t agree. I have electric windows in the front and in the back, I have an electric sunroof (the drain clogs up fast), cruise control, heated seats, electric mirrors, park distance control, fog lights, automatic climate control and even a light sensor. I love my car and I really don’t want to give it away some day. It’s very reliable, never let me down and it took me places I’ll never forget.
The 9n3 is really nice - and the 1.9TDI is a good engine! Yours sounds like a great little beast, definitely never let go of it. I'm planning on engine swapping mine as soon as I can get my hands on the 1.8T out of the 9n3 GTI!
Sounds good! I have driven the 9n3 GTI once. Fun little car. The 1.8T in your basic 9n would come out great! You could almost call it a sleeper with this engine
140 is insane out of a 9n haha! Very decent indeed. I love my little 9n but I definitely do wish it was quicker- hopefully it'll be better after an engine swap. Thanks for watching!
Nice video! Have just earned a new sub :D. I bought my Polo 9n 1.2 65hp (Lolo) back in January and bought some Montreal 2's which are from a mk4 Golf. Changes the whole car!! Although they arent quick it can keep up with a 1.0 Yaris and even get it off the line due to more torque
Thanks for watching! 'Lolo' is a great name for it haha - I will definitely be getting some alloys on Penny at some point, but the montreal 2s are definitely a great shout - I might have to copy you... I love the 9n it's such a great little car - when my new video drops hopefully that will be made clear!
Billy Plante haha it's so annoying, you look like such a mug while doing it too - I'm gunna see if I can convert mine to electric... thanks for watching!
Main thing i hate about my 2003 Polo 9N 1.4 is that every time i fix a problem a new problem comes up. Shit needs to be fixed every 4-5 months and it's expensive, but i still don't want to let it go. It's my first car and i had it for 2.5 years now.
Annoying that things keep going wrong for sure - mine has been surprisingly reliable. Definitely keep hold of it, so nice to own your first car still! Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
Suspension components are not so sturdy on them. I have had to spend fair bit of money trying to get them fixed... To pass MOT ofc. They maybe slow but the engine seems to be reliable. Haven't let me down yet
Used to have a 9n3 1.2, boy oh boy was that a struggle, mainly worn rings after 100k miles, 2 liters of oil every week, and masses of blue smoke behind, still was a good car for what it was.
Yeah luckily mine hasn't reached the oil burning/leaking yet but my Fabia used to absolutely rinse through the oil, it was a joke! And yeah love the Polo still, can't wait to get the full project started on it.
From what I've read, the 9N used to have thinner door seals. The water used to flow out no issue, however at higher speeds the door made an annoying whistle. So to rectify it, later 9Ns and the 9N3 had a thicker door seal fitted. This meant however the original water channels were unable to clear the water, hence why it falls out on your feet. My 9N3 does it with the rear doors, but not the front ones.
I have a Polo 9n3 1.2 65bhp 2005 in a rather unusual fairway green. My first car had it almost a year now love it to bits but five things I hate about it... 1. No remote locking. 2. No back doors/opening windows at back. 3. Lack of power (only bothers me when I switch between driving other cars with four cylinders and 10 horsepower more lol) 4. The doors are heavy and huge. 5. That when I close the doors they need to be slammed or they won't fully close unless windows open (air lock). 5 things I love. 1. It's a VW, well made and reliable if maintained. 2. It feels like a big car when driving and comfortable on long journeys. 3. Electric Windows, air con, electronic heated mirrors, aux cable. 4. Easy to drive, very light controls and easy to park, good visibility and small. 5. It's my first car so I'm bias and I don't care that it's 13 years old I treat it the same as I would a brand new car!
Haha sounds like a good buy! You have to love your first car - my first car was also in green and she couldn't do a thing wrong in my eyes 😍 I love my polo for sure - especially as I slowly mod her over time I'll reach a stage where I'll never want to sell. Thanks for watching!
@@CarsWithJB thanks, have subscribed and will watch your other vids. I've fully serviced car and changed the wheels from 14 to 15s (original polo alloys). Done minor repairs and maintenance on the car, never let me down. Great to drive and feel very safe on the road. Don't think brand new cars have the charm of an older car which is well cared for and looking good. So many people treat their cars with little respect and they just take it for granted they'll work without maintenance, they don't even know how to fill their tyres! The way of the world these days hey!
Agreed - people need to learn to maintain their cars! My friends sometimes seem to think I'm some kind of mechanic when in reality everything I do to my car is stuff anyone could do... it's crazy!
Yeah as I've gotten more used to the car I respect its boot space, but in context my car before this was the Fabia Estate, which was literally made for boot space 🤙🏽
I had this exact car in silver as my first car and just sold it earlier today. The problem with there being no torque and the water-collecting door sills are why i sold it to buy an MX5. But now that its gone i do feel a little sadness seen as it was my first car and i do miss it.
yeh same my polo has the same issue have you found any fix ? this issue does bug me when it rains and as mentioned in the video idk when to expect it haha!
Love my 9n gt tdi (130). All of the issues on this 1.2 are non existent on mine, had it for years and don't think I'll ever sell. Small but extremely quick for what it is and the 6th gear is perfect for motorways
Ah so sick that it has a 6th gear I was not aware of that! What's the interior like? Are the seats any better than in the standard 9n? Asking just because I'm planning on getting the GTI seats in mine but if the GT has decent ones I may be persuaded
The fact I'm sat here agreeing with everything you say, I've owned my 9N since about July and I love it but I know what you mean about power it I had a 1.1 Peugeot independence and that felt quicker despite the smaller engine size, the windows will always be the bane of my existence though overall good video and good to know somewhere out there someone share my pain XD
I have the 1.4 75hp version as my little go kart runaround. I get the flood of water from the boot on mine. Crappy seals! Grrrr! The car certainly isn't built for speed, but I've upgraded everything as it's needed replacing. Full service, K&N panel filter, straight through cat back exhaust, but best of all, a Whiteline ARB at the back. Vperformance on RUclips does a before and after with the same roll bar which made me get one, plus they have an install video. Now instead of understeering everywhere, it sticks like mad. Definitely worth a look!
That's so annoying - I'm not sure if boot or driver's side door is worse? Either way classic polo haha. For real? I might consider getting one - but I'm not sure if it's a bit pointless considering I have the slowest polo going... a 1.8T engine swap is on my mind right now but again, possibly not worth it! Thanks for watching!
@@CarsWithJB I've looked into 1.8t swapping my 50hp Seat Arosa and it seems like the costs of all the parts/custom wiring etc and declaring on insurance is a lot more than just buying and insuring a car with a 1.8t already in it. Another option is the 1.9 tdi Polo 9n which is fucking rapid with a remap :)
I have the 5 door polo 9n3 and it's perfect - electric front windows, water doesn't accumulate and it's pretty spacious if you put down the rear seats, I've driven with whole bicycles in the back.
I have a 2006 1.2 in white with 3 doors. It's a nice little first car to drive but it does have its quirks. You're right about the 1.2 being really slow and it's a whiny sounding engine as you may know. It does burn a lot of oil but produces no smoke, granted it has 155k miles on it. Not the most reliable car but at 12 years old it's to be expected.
Sounds nice - 9n3 I'm assuming if it's an '06? I like white cars I'm just scared to get one because of the paint being attacked by other people's doors. Sad that yours hasn't been too reliable though - I've had quite decent reliability out of mine so far (but I'm only on around 85k miles so slightly less than you - plus my dad is a car mechanic which is always helpful). Thanks for watching bossman 🤙🏽
White is good because swirl marks are harder to see with that type of colour haha. It's not been that reliable but it hasn't needed expensive stuff done to it yet, I'm feeling the expensive repair bill coming. I'll probably keep it for another year or two and get something nicer and faster. So is a 1.8T the most likely engine swap? That will be interesting to see in the future.
Hahah I've already changed 2 in the year I've been driving it, and I changed 4 on my Fabia (same engine) - it's definitely a pain, I keep a spare coil with the tyre haha
Hahaha and the most tragic thing is that they havent fully fixed that even in the current generation. The modern 1.0 MPI engine which replaced this 1.2 still has issues. But hey, Penny and Mini-Merc (as I call mine) are still our babies, and we love`em!
Nice car. My elder sister has a 2010 Polo which has electric windows. She also has a 1995 Polo which she inherited off our late father. The 95 Polo is used by her husband to get to work.
Nice - funny that there are 15 years between their Polos! I would be very upset if I owned a 2010 Polo that didn't have electric windows... my window rollers have recently broken as well which is causing severe grief. Thanks for watching!
Nice car bro😉.Man is polo, and i yours.I had a polo and i have same problems, but that car have no problems with engine and last a lot of years.Great work.
Pretty sure those black spots are tree sap. When I got my 2012 Citigo they were all over the roof. Get yourself down to Halfords, get a clay bar and some quick detailing spray. Spray it into the roof, rub with the clay and just watch them disappear. Great stuff.
@@CarsWithJB Maybe you could do a video on it? There aren't many with that title and it took me ages so I bet there's loads of people wondering the same!
The only tip I have for the clay bar is make sure the car is washed before hand so it's as clean as it can be, and keep it lubricated with the detailing spray
My 2004 Polo has the bigger 1.4 petrol engine and has electric front windows but it has an automatic transmission. It is the Twist model with 5 doors, silver paint and alloy wheels.
Look at it this way: its charm lies in its minimalist simplicity. I wish more cars were like it: few gadgets and gizmos to get in the way of the driving experience, and ultimately break.
Yeah great shout - there's no faff with the 9n, just straight up driving. Obviously I love my 9n, dedicating a lot of time to working on it, but definitely want to keep that minimalism about the car! Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
Cars With JB YT needs a review channel for devotees of minimalist vehicles. Too much of what passes for new car reviews on YT is just pushing buttons and playing with gadgets on the steering wheel, dash board, driver’s door panel, front center console, rear console, controls mounted by the rear view mirror...
1:27 That is due to the door inner panel seal deterioration. What you have to do, is to remove the door panel and reseal the plate under it. Every VAG car does that.
The 2 door version of polo 9n is cool, this version is not been sell on Brazil. Here the polo 9n is a great car with nice value. I own a 9n3 2011 polo with 1.6 EA111 ENGINE and MQ200 gearbox, its a fantastic combination, good gas mileage and nice performance, 11s 0-100k is not bad.
Fair enough - definitely each to their own, and over time I've started to like them too! I think I'll swap them for some angel eyes, as I feel the roundness lends itself to it well. Thanks for watching!
I know what the balck spots are (probably)... I bought a car with these spots too, its turned out to be overspray from 'plasti dip'. Some rubbing with WD40 on a towel fixed it. It was everywhere... Regards from The Netherlands
It could well be for me too - I've plasti-dipped stuff on my car but nothing while actually on it, maybe a previous owner did the same! But I'll get rid of them soon as I'm planning on wrapping the roof black anyway :) thanks boss
Lolol Quality bro, Nice one. My last runaround was an 9n polo I hated the look of it, I was even planning on putting a 1.8t in it untill I came to my senses lolol but It was clean though, And the stereo wasn't bad. Lolol
Haha cheers bossman - you know it, the 9n does the job but it's not pretty... Should have 1.8T'd it though! I was considering seeing if I could make mine into a 4WD using the drivetrain from an S4 but way too much money and effort to bother with all that haha
the bluemotion 9n3 is great fun. 1.4 diesel with great torque and power. I've also never experienced any of the issues listed in the video, electric windows, nicer headlights etc. Haha. Insurance was huge pain for the first year though but at least the road tax is free. 0-60 is stated at 12.4 on parkers but I would definitely put it closer to 11. (I time it at 10.5 but I'm probably biased ngl) oh and the fuel economy is awesome (74mpg). I've never seen it go below 35mpg on seriously hard drives and I can average 65+ when driving properly.
Hahah my Fabia used to have problems with the locks like that, sometimes the car would unlock fully, sometimes just one or two doors fancied it, etc etc 😂
My mini came with random black spots/iron figments over it, i used auto glym magma all over it. Got rid of majority of it just a few little specs on the lower door might be worth a try dude?
I own a 9N3 GTI. It has 106HP more than yours. People might think that it really chugs on petrol, of course if you floor it the whole time then that's obvious. If you drive normally then I averaged 8.2l per 100km on 95 RON and abut 7.6l/100km. That is roughly 28.7mpg and 31mpg respectively. Not bad for a 1.8T with 150PS and 220Nm of torque.
Btw I am not saying that my car is the best but this is just a comparison. I never had problems with water dripping when opening the door. I guess they might have fixed it.
Thanks for the insight! The 1.8T is a great engine still, and the GTI is a great little car - if I didn't already own a polo or I'd been in the right position when I bought mine I would have gone for one for sure 🤙🏽
@@CarsWithJB Yes, it is enjoyable to drive and it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face when you floor it. It has a sound generator directly from the engine so you can hear the turbo and engine grunt. Very nice I should say better than the artificial sounds that newer cars have.
I have a 9N3 from 2008 as 5 door. It has the 1.2l 70hp engine which is also slow If you want to go on the autobahn or on a normale country Road. But its quite quick if I floor it out of a roundabout in 2nd gear. The leader steering wheel is awesome but I feel very cramped at 6'3 behind the wheel. My knees touch dashboard and on long journeys my leg and feet Hurt. AC doesnt work good, its just loud af and doesnt blow much air. And fuel consumption ist very high for that engine. Even If my mum drives it rarely gets sub 6l. If you drive "sporty" its 8l. Also I just hit 200k km and apart from rusty exhaust pipe not any big repair
Nice - the 9n3 is a good looking car imo, I can imagine it being a pain on the autobahn for sure - when I drove through Germany last year with the 1.2 65bhp it was so slow on motorways! Hopefully will be engine swapping mine soon. Thanks for watching!
I used to have the exact same polo, the valves went though at 78k so it got scrapped and now I drive a 1.1 panda with the same hp so not much of an upgrade but I do think I prefer the panda tbh😂
I have a 1.4 tdi, once had the water in the door, but only once, and it was in the back doors, AC is great in my car, have front power windows, mine might be newer and a better trim, I think, but I love my car...AC belt is screaming though, so there's that
I also own a polo 1.2 9n. 53 plate. And I love it. Windows. Yeah a bit poo. But don't have the rain thing thou. Lol. I've had mine 7 years now. Got it after trading in my ST170. But don't regret it. Mines quick of the line. Just slow everywhere else.👍
Yeah for sure - mine is quite efficient but I think the 64hp one is even more so - I got better mileage in my 1.2 Skoda that had the 64hp engine! Thanks for watching!
I really liked my Pole but the 1.2 engine is much slower than I would have preferred and the fuel economy was a bit on the average side for a small car.
Looks like a reliable little Motor , My first car I had access to after passing my test was a 2013 75hp 1.2 Clio that weighed as much as a small moon and took 15.5 seconds to get to 60. When I bought my first car I got a 2012 94hp 1.2 Suzuki Swift that was a much more reasonable 11.9 seconds. Now I own a 2016 Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6 with 140hp , weighs 200kg less than the Clio and does 60 in about 8 seconds whilst being an absolute hoot to drive quick. Next car is going to be a Fiesta ST or 208 GTI , feels like I need to go faster every time I buy a car now and I live in the sticks in Scotland where my commute involves me driving b roads so I can actually enjoy my car.
Yeah it's been so reliable thus far, the clio is a great first car though a few friends of mine had it straight out of their tests. Sounds like your car history has been solid so far - considered getting a nice 2 seater for those b roads?
@@CarsWithJB I was very tempted to go for a new MX-5 but i need practicality aswell so probably wont happen , Don't have the money to have 2 cars either.
Yeah I need to get rid of these spots soon - I think I'm gunna wrap the roof black so would definitely be beneficial to make the surface as clean as possible. Cheers for the heads up!
I've got a lovely little 1.4tdi, does what I need ie A to B, on the motorway handles motorway speeds OK, would like another gear though, it's nippy and parks easy, takes 4 OK, but as said boot could be bigger. Has 17inch wheels so there is road noise but the payoff is better handling, will keep for now.
Yeah the boot has actually surpassed my expectations recently to be fair - gets golf clubs in super easily which is nice. Still a great car which I definitely love to bits despite all the little issues! Yours sounds nice running on 17s, I think I'll get the 16s from the mark 4 GTI at some point soon. Thanks for watching!
Top tip for a 1.4 tdi is get a stage 1 remap, mine cost 120 quid and there is so much torque now it's so fun to drive, amazing how much power they leave tuned out of the 1.4 tdi
That's insane, I don't understand why we don't get the electric windows in the UK - it doesn't make sense! My friend had an '04 9n and it had the electric windows, but considering they've been around since the 80s you'd expect cars to have them by 2002...
True. Another fact is that the 9n only came with the same old 8v engine (1.6, 2.0 from jettas), while in the UK have a variety of engines. Also theres no 2 door version here. 2 points for the UK. xD
i had the same issue with the blower on my polo (9n3) i bought a new resistor off ebay and swapped it and it worked. My old resistor was black and all rusted so i knew that was the issue
Done already - made a vid showing my attempt! Cheers for the heads up though - that was the exact problem haha, all it took was a little bit of research. Thanks for watching!
My best mate had the 1.4 petrol when we were 17 and yeah it was much quicker than the 1.2! But it was like 30hp more so you'd expect that. In terms of the boot I have become much more accustomed to it now, but as my first car was a (small) estate I was sad to have to downsize! Of course I still love my polo tho 🤙🏽
Cars With JB yes that is correct, I replaced my vw polo 9n3 facelift with a audi a3 8p3 facelift 👌🏼 so similar in characteristics, however, the audi is just the premium version 👍🏼
Cars With JB ahh good, everyone says to me it’s a 40 year olds car, but when I get it mapped to 180bhp they won’t be making fun then! Also was your Fabia pd130? :) jack
Yeah definitely - so much fun to throw around in corners etc - surprisingly good handling! I may buy one of the roll bars to decrease understeer even more though. Thanks for watching!
@@fredrikkarlsson1623 yeah that's true, and the diesel versions suffer with canon build up apparently, I have had one of my coil packs actually melt. But other than that I can't complain really not sure about the power in the 1.2s but I don't seem to suffer that bad in the 1.4 FSI sport I can beat a new Corsa off the mark 😂 also have noticed that using better fuel does make a difference or at least it does for me.
@@coleblundell7692 Ofcourse it does. Here we have two petrol alternatives, E95 and E98, 98 makes the car go better especially if u have a big engine. And rallycars have special fuel that i think is called E115 or something im not sure but however dont let this trick u into fueling up E85 or Diesel as a friend of mine almost did, he dont know cars very well though. Did u know Skoda 1.2 Turbo is actually pretty fast
I have a 9n and it has roll down windows and the water in the bottom of the doors. Also I hate the fact it doesn't have an interior light in the boot either.
My first car was a polo 1.6 hatch the same shape as yours. I sold it and got a 1.9 TDI sports back 2005 which is 10X better. Still gives you all those noises and rattles. But shes the best car ever.
They have such a great charm to them - I'm hoping mine gets even more charm as I do more to her 🤙🏽 in the near future (when my polo project is a little further on) I'd love to do a meet up of polo drivers!
Oh man, I own 1.0 6N2 Polo from 2000, and I agree with everything you said, mine is also stupidly slow and when I went to high school, which was 20km from my home, I got owned by almost every classmate a met on the road, exception was when I met 1.0 Skoda Fabia....then, some Fast&Furious shit got serious and I beat his ass, because my 3 gear is faster than his :D I also don't have electric windows (but I'm working on it). Because I got it with almost no gear(no abs, air con, power steering), I'm trying to improve it and not tune it with some stupid LEDs under seats..... I recently got him central locking, new radio, painted its chassis...mostly, and I love it because its mine :)
Haha the power is a severe downside of these smaller engined polos 😂 love the idea of you and this other dude racing in your little 1L VAGs doing like barely any speed at all haha. Sounds like a great project - good luck with it lemme know how it goes!
Yeah, thx, scrapyards here are fortunately full of old polos because it was favourite city car back then, so I'm still looking for better parts :) .....you should have seen it, a friend of mine driving his Seat Leon 1.9 behind us when we "raced" flashed at us that we block the road, it was hillarious :D
It seems VW has listened to you and many others as they have sorted all and bettered Polo. I have 2017 Match Edition 1.2 TSI Bluemotion 90 PS. Definitely nippy while it is also very economical. I regularly go from Surrey to Wales and still have nearly half tank fuel. Not so so bad considering I've only been driving since Feb. My clutch control is still erratic at times. Gear changes are not always smooth enough. Just as you said no cars are perfect. I wish they made the seats little more comfortable and drive dynamics little better round the corners as sometimes the body lean is excessive when going at speed. Boot space is significantly improved with adjustable floors. I managed to fit a VW Subwoofer as standard audio is rubbish on 2017 6R models..2018 Vw has slightly better audio when I tested it in the courtesy car. I would get better fuel efficiency if I didn't have the very heavy subwoofer with amp built in that also amplifies other speakers. The water by the door is very minimal without getting your shoes wet. Bear in mind when water drips down that then makes the section below door wet however the seal protects water going inside or excess water sitting. The noise insulation on my VW is the best I've had. Hardly any road noise when listening to music with normal volume. Road noise on 2018 Polo is slightly higher though.
Sounds like a nice polo for sure - I haven't had any experience of the newer ones yet, the newest I've been in is my friend's 13 plate, and even that is a super nice step up from the 9n. Yours definitely sounds nice, and cool that you have the woofer in there too - that's something I'll likely get on in the near future when I start working on the interior properly, but I'll definitely have to try to maintain the space in the boot! Thanks for the insight boss 🤙🏽
For the black spots, do you park near trees a lot ? reminds me of rough dots I find on mine as well (though transparent) when I do so. or maybe is it tar... try GooGone, works like magic on this stuff.
I found an 04 9n (black4door5spd)with 50,000km for 2g on eBay. that was 3 years ago. At first it was playing up because it was hardly any use over the last 12 years, 3 weeks later... Sweet as, no more no starts and eps abs etc dash lights. I've put another 30,000km of trouble free driving... Only thing besides the no guts 1.4L the trip meter will not go past 2,000km, resets every time, strange. I also put mk4 Bora headrests and 17 inch wheels and put the boras ventilated rear disc brakes on it(need shims for the caliper bracket). Afterwards I had a rattle that would go away when brakes applied. Turns out I must have got some caliper slides mixed up. I had a slide that stepped down at the end and it would rattle quite noticeably from the rear left. I put the other slide from old caliper on which is same thickness all the way, rattle gone. Oh and the Bora i bought off a customer for 100 bucks. He blew up the engine. And the funny thing, I got 150 bucks for scrap value of the Bora when I was finished raping it for parts 🤣
Haha rate that with the Bora, cool that you put the rear disc brakes on, that's something I'm planning for the future! Think I'll take the whole rear axle from a vrs or something and stick it on mine to get rid of those old rusty drum brakes
I user to drive an audi b8 3.0tdi but it was going to high in the costs(living in the netherlands) sold it and got myself an 1.9tdi polo and it was the best choise i took, got a chiptuning on it to 150 bhp its pretty fast in the city and decent driving on highways, excellent car
I have a polo s and the insurance was 2k. It has 2 front electrical windows and i get the rain water only in the driver side passager door. I think mine is the 60hp model but its doing well
We were on our way back home in my mom's VW Polo 9n and theres this turn where you can only go left so we go left and go on a roundabout which i call "The Polo 9n roundabout" why? Because there were millions of VW Polo 9n's on there, There was a dark green one behind us (5dr), Two exact same coloured blue as Penny that were 5dr both and as we left another 9n joined that was purple and 5dr (like my moms as heres is purple and 5dr) and we were the only ones with alloys on and had fog light holes (except for some reason theres no fog lights in the holes.)
@@CarsWithJBJust randomly remembered about you and your Polo, it’s very cool to see she’s still going and it looks way better than it did last time I checked! Unfortunately my mum’s Polo 9n has since been written off :( It was honestly a really good car but it wouldn’t start most of the time towards the end of it’s life and then it got stuck in Neutral no matter what you put the gearstick on (she had an automatic). One thing I noticed that it had that no over Polo 9n I’ve seen have is a beige interior! (Beige seats, floor and roof)
Fair enough, weird that it only happens on the driver side then 🤷🏽♂️ either way it's not ideal when you're in a rush and you forget, and your feet get a nice drenching haha
My polo 9n3 with an 1.4 16v 80hp is in my opinion pretty fast with 0 too 100.. I've got my car now 2 years with 234.000km.. and drived 100.000 km now without any problems
at least your AC works and your windows roll down. My AC is beyond repair and only 1 of my 2 electric windows go down :'( I still deeply love my 16 year old focus though.
Haha wow that's not ideal - my aunt's focus was around 16 years old too when she got rid of it, such a problematic little car but she couldn't make herself get rid of it! Mad how we get so attached to cars 🤙🏽
This is my current and 2nd car i've ever owned, a 57 plate. For me it's been a slight downgrade from my last car, most frustrating is the roll down windows and lack of Aux port. I've actually found the car fairly nippy, i was suprised going from a 1.4 to a 1.2 but it didn't suck as much as i thought (until i have other passengers weighing the car down) I also have a 3 door whereas before i had 5 so that also annoys me. Bit of a love hate i have with the polo, one thing that i do like is the cup holder =']
Haha yeah I was straight on changing my radio to keep my usb port! Agreed it's definitely a love-hate, but I'm definitely moving more towards the love as time goes by and I do more mods. My dashboard cup holder broke! So there's just an empty slot there haha - so annoying. I like the cup holder slots on the centre console though behind the handbrake. Thanks for watching!
Joshua Preyser apologies I didn't get a notification for your comment, but I have plans to do an engine swap to the 1.8T as soon as is feasible! Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
David Vidovič yeah agreed 100% it's an unreal first car (even if it's my second car...) - I'm happy with it for now and hopefully my plan to change it drastically in the near future works out and makes it as good as it really should be. Thanks for watching!

The black spots are likely to be from tar on a new road. If you drive past temp. traffic lights with workers resurfacing the road you'll probably pick up a few.
I love my VW Polo 9n... But there are 5 little quirks which definitely annoy me! If you want to see 5 things I love about this beautiful little beast, click: ruclips.net/video/xll8eVwPwIQ/видео.html
Black spots are tar, give it a real good detail
Also, I got white spots on the hood from the bugs on the highway..
its a god vinter car:P but the 2008 model is better it have 80 hp, much nice cool lights from and back, and it have eletric windows man:D i have that model and i love that car man^^
I just bought one of these ! I literally lean over and wind down the passenger window as I drive xD
But yeah agreed the simplicity of the car is a key benefit, as well as the safety aspect - it's also surprisingly spacious inside given how small the car is!
rip polly :(
Nice engine light going on there. Came stock from the showroom turned on with VW
Haha it's the ABS light but yes it's been on since I've owned the car - I'll try to diagnose and fix it sooner or later...
If you clay bar your car it will remove the black spots
Yeah I'll be on that in the near future - cheers for the heads up!
I used butter to clean this spots, and it worked very well. This is the most propably from hot asphalt.
The black spots could be road tar there are lots of products you can use for that.
Get tar and grease remover spray, works brilliantly, £8.99 on amazon use with a microfiber cloth. Got rid of black spots on my a3
I have a 1.2 litre Polo 9N as well but mine is the 12v version with 64bhp.
I love my 9n
I'm hoping to get the brand new Polo next!
Definitely an S instead of an E would have helped, sadly I just didn't have the time or the choice when I came to buy the car!
why is he driving on the wrong side of the road
I don't play by the rules 🤷🏽♂️
6th thing you hate about your car: steering wheel is mounted on the wrong side xD
left hand drive is gay
because he can and you can't
@@MrRohanThomas Ur Straight and Right Hand Drive is💩like Ur Shitty🏴🇬🇧🏴🇭🇷🤣
I love mine (which I never expected to when I bought it) - nice that you have a 64 plate still though, hopefully it does you well 🤙🏽 thanks for watching!
my 1.4 polo 9n3 has front electric windows ^_^
You don't understand how envious I am 🤷🏽♂️
My Polo 9n, build in 2003, has front and back electrik windows 😅
All 4 of my 9n3 windows are electric....
....stock
yeah mine has too
@@techgamer1597 I've sold it in the meanwhile :)
Haha very nice - I do love my little Polo too despite all it's shortcomings, glad you enjoyed the video!
dude i own a Mercedes benz w203 c220 cdi from 2005 and i love it to death. its my first car and i am only 19. my friends joke around bc its a diesel(2.2 L ) but just like you i love her to death. while yes mine is not fast too i still have a shit lot of fun with her with the torque that she offers(perfect for albanian back roads). be proud of what you own guys bc in the end of the day its yours
Haha I love it - at least yours has a good badge on it! But yeah completely agree, you have to love your car regardless, and be proud of it 🤙🏽
I spent over 20 hours doing my driving lessons in my instructors grandma's Nissan micra.I think I can appreciate any car at this point
My mum had a 2 door 1.9T version of this gen polo chipped up to 140 brake and it was fucking rapid! Nothing but respect for those things
140 is insane out of a 9n haha! Very decent indeed. I love my little 9n but I definitely do wish it was quicker- hopefully it'll be better after an engine swap. Thanks for watching!
Cars With JB I’d definitely be watching throughout if you made it a series
Do ppl actually name their cars in the UK? It's awkard
I feel this so much, I have road rage and take about 20 minutes to wind down the window haha.
Billy Plante haha it's so annoying, you look like such a mug while doing it too - I'm gunna see if I can convert mine to electric... thanks for watching!
now if I get in a car with electric windows its like a fucking space ship haha
Billy Plante hahaha trust me - electric windows are a luxury when you've owned a 9n
Oof. I have 159k km so almost 100k miles.
Tho mine burns ZERO oil....
My friends sometimes seem to think I'm some kind of mechanic when in reality everything I do to my car is stuff anyone could do... it's crazy!
The boot is tinny? I have hauled 64kg of luggage plus my carry on on one of those Polos, back in August. Not a big boot but it is ok for a supermini
Congrats on your new car! And yeah definitely sad to let go of your first car, but which MX-5 did you go for?
Nice to know my old N95 wasn’t the only Polo to have that issue with the doors and water. Seems to be a design issue
yeh same my polo has the same issue have you found any fix ? this issue does bug me when it rains and as mentioned in the video idk when to expect it haha!
Good to see I'm not the only person with a 52 plate polo in the UK. Except mines in red.
Haha good to hear I'm not either! Very decent - good colour to have it in
The fact I'm sat here agreeing with everything you say, I've owned my 9N since about July and I love it but I know what you mean about power it I had a 1.1 Peugeot independence and that felt quicker despite the smaller engine size, the windows will always be the bane of my existence though overall good video and good to know somewhere out there someone share my pain XD
Haha I know exactly that - the power is so minimal and the windows are killer! Love the car though for sure 🤙🏽
'Whiteline arb at the back' how? A polo 9n has a fixed beam not independent rear suspension so no rear anti roll bar
There is only one thing that annoys me about the Polo 9n.
THE FUCKING FAILING COILS!
Haha exactly that! Love the name of yours - referencing the headlights I assume?😂
The only good video on polo 9n on all youtube thanks!
Haha cheers big man!
Haha yeah same here - no engine troubles at all, except for one coil pack!
@@CarsWithJB No car is perfect ☺
Big fan of polos! Ive owned a 15' gti for 2 years and it's been awesome.
Nice - the gti is definitely a vibe, and yeah such a fan of the Polos! They have such character haha. Thanks for watching!
Pretty sure those black spots are tree sap. When I got my 2012 Citigo they were all over the roof. Get yourself down to Halfords, get a clay bar and some quick detailing spray. Spray it into the roof, rub with the clay and just watch them disappear. Great stuff.
Great heads up cheers for that - I'll get on it soon as I'm planning to wrap the roof!
@@CarsWithJB Maybe you could do a video on it? There aren't many with that title and it took me ages so I bet there's loads of people wondering the same!
EasyPCUK probably a good idea - potentially doing it this weekend so will get the camera out!
Can't wait man! Love the videos!
Ah the twist - my best mate had one too with 3 doors in the silver too - nice car!
@@CarsWithJB It has just passed the MoT and I've just uploaded Part 6 of my Polo video series.
Cars With JB
YT needs a review channel for devotees of minimalist vehicles. Too much of what passes for new car reviews on YT is just pushing buttons and playing with gadgets on the steering wheel, dash board, driver’s door panel, front center console, rear console, controls mounted by the rear view mirror...
Your AC problem can be fixed with a cheap resistor pack - easy to fit. Having said that, can you actually still pull away with the AC on?
Fixed it in a separate video, and yeah it was the resistor! But lol yeah tbh it surprises me every time
1:27 That is due to the door inner panel seal deterioration. What you have to do, is to remove the door panel and reseal the plate under it. Every VAG car does that.
Yeah I assumed it was the seals, will definitely be on that when it comes to a full refresh of the car. Thanks for the heads up!
This is your issue: ruclips.net/video/Vqol7BQelgI/видео.html (the fix is cheap and easy)
The 2 door version of polo 9n is cool, this version is not been sell on Brazil. Here the polo 9n is a great car with nice value.
I own a 9n3 2011 polo with 1.6 EA111 ENGINE and MQ200 gearbox,its a fantastic combination,good gas mileage and nice performance, 11s 0-100k is not bad.
I've got a VW Fox with the same engine and so many of these points are so relatable🤣
My first car was a 9N. I actually liked the round lights. I repainted mine Orange and I wish I still had it.
Fair enough - definitely each to their own, and over time I've started to like them too! I think I'll swap them for some angel eyes, as I feel the roundness lends itself to it well. Thanks for watching!
I had angel eyes in mine too. It really did improve the look. If you look me up on FB you can see photos of the car and the project we did on it.
Donato Anastasia just had a look - great looking car, love the orange! Looks like it was a great project.
That would have been your worse mistake of your life lol
the bluemotion 9n3 is great fun.
That's a great insight - appreciate it! Good to hear that you've got some of the luxuries my 9n is missing as well 🤙🏽
My Fabia has power windows but you never know what are they going to do. :D
Cheers for the heads up boss I'll get on that for sure, should have really sorted it by now but haven't been focussing on it
Cars With JB no issues man just a thought since you mentioned them black spots £8.80 from Halfords best decision i made for the results afterwards 👍🏻
Haha fair enough - the panda has got a really strong following behind it so fair enough! Love the sport version as well haha
I have a 1.4 tdi, once had the water in the door, but only once, and it was in the back doors, AC is great in my car, have front power windows, mine might be newer and a better trim, I think, but I love my car...AC belt is screaming though, so there's that
Ah mine gets the water so often it's really annoying haha - but yeah definitely a fan of the 9n 🤙🏽
Cars With JB same, love my car even with it's noises! I'll shut it up using money eventually ;)
I also own a polo 1.2 9n. 53 plate. And I love it. Windows. Yeah a bit poo. But don't have the rain thing thou. Lol. I've had mine 7 years now. Got it after trading in my ST170. But don't regret it. Mines quick of the line. Just slow everywhere else.👍
the 1.2 polo-ibiza where 12v 3cylinder engines they are not supossed to be fast but fuel efficiant
Yeah agreed on the fuel economy and slow side, but similarly love my little Polo!
Would probably be able to get rid of those spots on the roof with a clay bar.
Yeah I need to get rid of these spots soon - I think I'm gunna wrap the roof black so would definitely be beneficial to make the surface as clean as possible. Cheers for the heads up!
Its called shotgun fungus. Caused by parking under trees. Can be removed with plenty of elbo grease.
Top tip for a 1.4 tdi is get a stage 1 remap, mine cost 120 quid and there is so much torque now it's so fun to drive, amazing how much power they leave tuned out of the 1.4 tdi
shadowwolfXD97 did you notice any major differences in fuel economy post remap?
@han0509 yes it has, it is the Dune Spec modle 👍
@han0509 yes Dune model
My Polo 9N is Highline. He have everything: navigation, 4x electric windows, automatic climatization, and more.....
The problem with your air con maybe because of your heater blower resistor, I’ve got a punto and I have the same problem as the connector has burnt
Yeah I did some research & rectified the issue (made a vid on it) - cheers for the heads up!
I have one in Mexico. Funny thing is that even the base models had electric windows.
I believe those black dots are tar from road resurfacing of maybe tree sap
Whatever they are I'll definitely get rid soon so I can wrap the roof 🤙🏽
@@CarsWithJB 👍👍👍
The black spots will be oil from a lorry, sometimes it shoots out of the exhaust at the top all over, it happened to me
Could well be - need to get it sorted soon so that I can wrap the roof!
Buy and fit a new heater resistor, really cheap and easy to fit and will make the fan work on all 4 speeds again!
Done already - made a vid showing my attempt! Cheers for the heads up though - that was the exact problem haha, all it took was a little bit of research. Thanks for watching!
i have the 1.4 tdi, and its actually pretty quick
also ive pretty much been a taxi with it and ive moved house like 4 times using the polo as a van with the back seats dropped.
3 cylinder? Me too! Has some nice pull too!
I had the same in a 9n3 and a remap made it fairly pokey!
Aero 250 Yeah it isn’t quick, but at 166k mine still surprises me with a supposed 75hp from the factory which is probably a lot less now.
Watching this just made me miss my polo
It's got such a charm to it - is that Audi in your pic the replacement?
Cars With JB yes that is correct, I replaced my vw polo 9n3 facelift with a audi a3 8p3 facelift 👌🏼 so similar in characteristics, however, the audi is just the premium version 👍🏼
I’ve got a passat estate b5.5 1.9 tdi pd130
Very happy with it as I’m 17 more than enough power and torque
Nice that is good - Estate as the first car is a vibe, I had the Skoda Fabia Estate and it was the best decision I made!
Cars With JB ahh good, everyone says to me it’s a 40 year olds car, but when I get it mapped to 180bhp they won’t be making fun then!
Also was your Fabia pd130?
:) jack
Is it weird that I like the headlamps?
Kind of - but I like them too now, I actually prefer the 9n to the 9n3!
I’m a year late but I’ve just bought one, and much prefer these headlamps to the newer ones.
I've got a 1.4 fsi polo 03 and have to say I love it, it's like a go kart
Yeah definitely - so much fun to throw around in corners etc - surprisingly good handling! I may buy one of the roll bars to decrease understeer even more though. Thanks for watching!
I have a Polo 6n2 GTI and its a rocket, i like the 03 models in the back but it looks like a Lupo in the front and that aint so nice
@@CarsWithJB yeah they are fun little cars but have noticed you feel the wind when driving on motorways!!
@@coleblundell7692 Ofcourse it does. Here we have two petrol alternatives, E95 and E98, 98 makes the car go better especially if u have a big engine. I have a 9n and it has roll down windows and the water in the bottom of the doors. Also I hate the fact it doesn't have an interior light in the boot either.

Well you bought the "cheapest" version of this car.. All of these Must! be expected!
Haha for sure - and I love her regardless! She's a great test bed for other modifications. Thanks for watching!
Try changing the pollen filter if you think the a/c is behaving sluggishly. Worked wonders on my 9n. Great video. Just subbed ya...
Sorted it out in the end - was a burnt resistor, and a really easy fix! Thanks for the heads up 🤙🏽
@@CarsWithJB Cheers..!
I have 1l 4 speed bread van 45bhp 😂😂
Yeah it could be all sorts of things, I reckon tar is the likely option, I'll get it off soon. Thanks for the suggestion I'll look into it!
Madness - there are a few 9ns on my road actually, all in different colours
@@CarsWithJBJust randomly remembered about you and your Polo, it’s very cool to see she’s still going and it looks way better than it did last time I checked! Unfortunately my mum’s Polo 9n has since been written off :( It was honestly a really good car but it wouldn’t start most of the time towards the end of it’s life and then it got stuck in Neutral no matter what you put the gearstick on (she had an automatic). One thing I noticed that it had that no over Polo 9n I’ve seen have is a beige interior! (Beige seats, floor and roof)
I only buy 1.6 comfortline and up. What did you think is going to happen if you drive a 1.2?
Didn't have the choice at the time! I'm looking to swap the engine for the 1.8t out of the 9n3 GTI though which would be ideal
The water travel through the inside of the door from the windows, it's designed to do that.
Fair enough, weird that it only happens on the driver side then 🤷🏽♂️ either way it's not ideal when you're in a rush and you forget, and your feet get a nice drenching haha

at least your AC works and your windows roll down.
Can’t wait to have my first car
It's great fun for sure!
Greetings from South Africa. Why don't you go for the 1.6 litre version. Just a suggestion.
Joshua Preyser apologies I didn't get a notification for your comment, but I have plans to do an engine swap to the 1.8T as soon as is feasible! Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
All I hate about my car that the fact it's an SDI (golf mk4) that's all but other than that I love it
The mk4 golf is super comfortable too 🤙🏽
@@CarsWithJB it is!, It's just so slow and sluggish with it's 1.9 sdi (68hp) but someday I'ma TDI swap it! :D
I used to own same car, same engine, same color but 5 doors. Slow and sounds shit, but it was lots of fun. Perfect first car.
David Vidovič yeah agreed 100% it's an unreal first car (even if it's my second car...) - I'm happy with it for now and hopefully my plan to change it drastically in the near future works out and makes it as good as it really should be. Thanks for watching!

I have the same black spots on my polo to, mine are on the front bumber and it totaly ruins the look.
Yeah it's horrible - I'm gunna be wrapping my roof soon (after I clean the black spots off) to mitigate the issue!
The black spots are likely to be from tar on a new road. If you drive past temp. traffic lights with workers resurfacing the road you'll probably pick up a few.
Thanks for the heads up - should be getting rid of them soon as I'm planning to wrap the roof, and don't want to wrap over them 🤙🏽
