This problem can be the result of a software or a hardware issue. First, hard reset your iPhone. This forces your iPhone to turn off and back on again and may temporarily fix a screen glitching issue.
Next, try turning off Auto-Brightness. We've heard from some people that this fixed the problem with their iPhone! Also try taking your iPhone out of its case and wiping off the screen.
If the problem only occurs in one app, there may be a problem with the app itself. Close and reopen the problematic app, or delete it if the problem persists.

Hello, please can I ask a question. I changed my iPhone 7 battery three months ago, all works fine. In the past two weeks, while it was updating software. It has been flashing on and off Apple logo. I need help pls thank you.
Sounds like the problem may have been created when the battery was replaced. It may be a logic board issue. We'd recommend going back to the place that replaced the battery and seeing if they'll take a second look and fix the problem.

I’m in an iPhone 7 Plus. When I hold onto the screen, it shakes and presses keys and things that I dont touch. It also freezes out of nowhere and my WiFi is cut out a lot. If your phone is hot it will do odd things. Don’t let it get hot in the sun. That’s negligence on your part as it has a battery inside that could destroy the handset

what worked for me : i have a brand new iphone 7 plus on ios 13.6 .
1. give it a good punch where your display logic board lays .
2. RESET ALL SETTINGS (go to settings , go to general , scroll down to reset, reset all content and settings ) . this worked for me after i tried almost everything .
3. hard reset your iphone by pressing the power button and volume down button at the same time for 7 seconds .
4. if those do not work it is highly suggested to go to a phone repair shop because the problem could be inside the phone and you could possibly lose your touchscreen ability all together .
Who else watched this entire thing and their phone is still glitching. Also I got this phone yesterday smh

I tried all these, and while my phone isn't fixed yet, the last one (holding down the upper right of the screen) definitely changed things. Even though it made it worse, it made me think there's some loose connection. Hmm. I wonder if that info should tell me that the DFU won't work.

@@deandoss2105 nah it was a thick bulky case. it came as a 2 piece. It covers the entire phone including the screen and the back. supposed to be water proof

Awesome video and advice. My phone XR screen was replaced and it was ghosting really bad and I could not use it. I attempted the soft and hard resets without success. I took it back to the screen repair shop and they installed another screen and still had the same thing happen. Watched this video and removed the case and immediately my phone stopped ghosting. I looked closer and found that the case was actually putting pressure on the screen which in turn was causing the ghosting issues. Case removed and issue resolved!

I had a new screen last week and mine clutches I press an app and sometimes a completely different app opens if I’m using the calculator it’ll add numbers I’m not clicking on is my new screen the issue

Ok so my iphone 11 has recently started glitchig out of nowhere. Maybe its because i take it in the shower but even them it rarely touches water so idrk what the issue could have started from. The main problem was these wierd vertical bars that would fade onto the screen and tbh it didnt bother me too much. But now my phone will start going black and white, reverse the colors, and the apple logo is faintly plastered on the middle of the screen. A few months ago my phone fell really hard and broke so I took it to the repair and after that my phone started glitching and I took out the case and it worked for a bit. The problem is the glitching is only on the right side of the screen I don’t know why but if I press or hold the right side it would just got crazy but only sometimes.

Hi, I have an iPhone 6 Plus. I was listening to music, the screen was off. I tried to turn it on and the bottom part of the screen was black with horizontal purple and orange lines flickering and getting longer. Then I tried to screenshot but the whole screen started having vertical white lines flickering. After a few seconds, the screen turned off and the phone restarted on its own. Also, it made some weird sound while the flickering was happening. Please help me I really don’t want it to happen again. Thanks

When I’m trying to zoom in and out On my drawing and editing apps and it usually works fine, but just recently every time I try to zoom in or if I press something down, the screen starts to go all shaky. I have no idea what’s happening T^T

@@saraandersson2032 yeah, start with low pressure and see if it works, then try again with a little more pressure, and so on. It shouldn't take much more pressure than it takes to crack a peanut. Be careful!
It'll probably last a few days if it works, so you'll need to get it fixed. Hopefully it'll be cheap since it's probably just a loose wire. Good luck!
