After testing with my friends and the Nexus Corps guys for a few weeks, here are a few clans that I think will make an impact in this new post history meta:
-Angel Feather. Gav is nuts, as having a protect II in the front and back means you have an amazing turn 3 with that girl who can attack and intercept from the back if she's on a protect marker. You also have a denial griffin play, and with all this in mind (plus the heart thump clone buff everyone got), means you can set up for your purple haired win condition a lot better.
-Gold Paladin. If there's anything Richard does well, it's Golds. Even if you ride V Gurguit going second (or even first) you still have Percival to put the pressure on with more circles. If you do Gurguit->Campbell and THEN Percival turn 3 going first, that's 3 accel markers on your opponent's turn 2. It's a huge momentum swing where it's like "you better have burn heal" but HGs and the heart thumps instead. Campbell just gave them a better turn 3 option which is what they kind of wanted.
-Royal Paladin*. I think royals are a tough nut to crack. Whether this makes a difference or not I can't say, but it definitely gave Altmile a boost. I think the honoly buff really did wonders for it, as you can use Benon to play defensively, and the crit pressure to play offensively.
-Murakumo. Yasuie's original problem was not having cards on rear when you strode. But with the train working in main phase, and cards that copy names, it means you have a crazy amount of pressure even going second. Now if only their g-guards didn't suck.
-Narukami. (Note that if Fullbronto gets hit in English it hurts a lot) Going second allows you to stunverse into Zorras if you rode G Vanquisher, striding twice in a turn but it's like... Just do the V Vanquisher stuff on Stunverse and do that better?
-Nubatama. Nubs needed a little bit of protection, which is nice, I think this is less of a case of new support breaking it and more a case of people paying attention to it. Nubatama has great options.
-Gear Chronicle. Yellowcard demonstrated this, but stacking 2 Force I's on a circle to make the Melem swing that much better, plus tick tock worker, etc. Time leap is back baby.
-Pale Moon. Harri support without that goddamn stage? Sign me up. This deck is also very cheap to build thanks to the deckset. Literally get 4 G Harri in addition to said deckset, a couple other bells and whistles, and you're good to go. Plus a magia vanguard means you have a denial griffin play again.
-Link Joker. Once again Yellowcard showed us, but now more messiahs that flip is a huge boon.
    -Nova Grappler. Holy crap.
-Granblue. Same case with pale moon. Got a solid cardpool from the deckset so its cheap, and the deck was good before this.

I think the craziest thing I've seen from early History Collection is our Royal Paladin player brewing up a build where you Superior Stride with the Altmile and then use Zenon to superior ride into Exculpate the Blaster and ride down to deny 1st Stride.

That does sound nuts against non history collection decks. I wonder if ride down decks will decrease in popularity because of these new strides though, because these strides allow you to bypass the stride "restriction" on your first g3 turn. Having to be on an 11k base for a turn can hurt though.

As someone who mains Royal Paladins, it’s wild to me that everybody agrees that this is a huge upgrade, but nobody knows what the best deck is supposed to look like. I swear I’ve seen 10 people make 20 different builds. I’ve yet to see my build reproduced.
    Kinda exciting 😁

So G fenrir can get you an additional minerva restand on your stride turns. As someone who has played the V fenrir deck for a while, I do think the defensive capabilities of the card are a bit overrated. It is insanely costly and quite easy to play around, and a lot of the best decks can play through it anyway. It is also extremely difficult to close out games. The best genesis deck likely remains Regalia unfortunately.

based on testing, V Thavas is still better in terms of long-term accel marker generation, G builds instantly fold to Baryoend cuz they just make 2 markers, and that's it. The clan in general does have a stride that makes markers, but I don't think that's enough to recover from Baryoend's marker wipe effect

as a BmT player myself who's been testing Lauris, I'd say Lauris may be a sidegrade at worst, cuz the pure variant is able to potentially pull off 5 attacks while the opponent is still at G2. I personally wouldn't look at the Riviere engine on its own, cuz it's worse than you think, since BmT is a clan where you need a lot of rears, and by the time you pull off the Riviere advance ride play, you got nothing to call. I'd say Lauris is a good option for those who want to enter Premium but don't have the budget to build Highlander

After testing neo nectar endlessly, i can safely say it changes the clan. I think that riding anything from v is just not as good as what ahsha can offer, and to that end, i think pure plant tokens isnt even the best build, since bloom now has a strong ride up with force gifts, which solved 2 of its biggest problems, on top of giving us multiple g zone options to use when katrina isnt the best option. Its also incredibly fun too :3

Do you have a decklist, ive been trying to come up with something. The old bloom g1s dont really seem to fit due to a lack of shield value. Also thoughts on when to use Velhemina vs Ladislava vs Katrina? These seem to be the best finishers the deck has rn?

    • @Infamouszer0
      @Infamouszer0 Год назад +1

@Hriddhit Datta I could send you one soon, but I'll just give you a quick couple of notes for now.
      1. The only bloom units I'm playing right now are Odette, lilga, Kera, and 2 og ines. Also playing 2 thuria to copy. There aren't a whole lot of others that are super good, nor do you need them Really.
      2. Yes, velhemina and Ladislava are very good. With the 2 force 2s we get, we can have 3 massive critical 3 swings and a vg swing. Ladislav is just good in general. But the main thing to note is that Katrina is still an insane stride. If we g guard 1 time, that's 4 plant tokens on the follow up Katrina, which is very good for a free board and bloom combos.
      3. We can abuse honoly with our g guards to turn 1 uninteractable hoboly effect into 2.
There are some quick notes, if you want a full deck lmk.

@@Infamouszer0 I really appreciate the response. I would also love to see the list you have currently.
This is roughly the list (apart from triggers) that I had in mind:
      G0 + G1
      1 V starter
      1 elmy
      3 katrina
      2 Padmini + 1 V Padmini
      3 lilga + 1 sanctitude
      2 v carpet
      G2
      3 kera
      3 lipset
      3 v horticulture
      3 gladiolus
      G3
      3 Ines
      3 ahsha
      2 blue ahsha
I never played bloom in g so I'm going off of a few games that I played recently.
My thought process is to use token token generators for early game pressure and for katrina turns later. Most of everything else is dedicated to bloom and gladiolus for extension.
Also I have no idea what you mean by the honoly exploit, could you elaborate on that interaction? I am aware that we can call honoly from hand with restrict but nothing more than that.
Finally I assume the second stride would probably be velhemina or ladislava based on resources available and katrina to end games most likely. Apart from cycloned and harmonics I don't think there are any other strides worth including right?
Edit: instead of horticulture, running 2 prodpollen might be worth it for both early game as well as katrina turns. Pretty scary imo

@@hriddhitdatta454 Here's where I'm at (Ratios subject to change):
      V Starter
      G1
      4 Faith Maiden Odette
3 Cherry Blossom blizzard maiden, Lilga
      3 light elemental, honoly
      4 G Padmini
      1 Elementaria Sanctitude
      G2
      4 Horticulture Elf
      4 Collective Blooming Maiden, Kera
      2 Ideal Maiden, Thuria
      G3
4 G Ranunculus flower maiden, Ahsha
2 V Cornflower Flower maiden, Ines
2 G Cornflower Flower maiden Ines
Without trying to take up too much time (oops that didn't really happen :P), I'll give brief explanations for all the cards chosen.
Odette: She's probably the best bloom unit full stop. G Katrina can make bigger numbers when you use 4 of them but in scenarios where you can't do that Odette is better, plus there is some other utility as well. If you have 2 or more odettes in play, you can use Rain Breath dragon or Kosterina to call another one/thuria from hand to give your vanguard +8k or more for the turn. The other thing is that Odette can return herself to hand at the beginning of your main phase, meaning you can much more easily reuse her bloom effect plus recycle normal units, and it's VERY helpful into the MC matchup, which post history col became much better for us. Overall, she's an insane free unit that happens to give us a lot of strength.
Honoly: It's busted. Much like with odette, we can call it with resist during our opponents turn, meaning we can potentially have 2 turns of uninteractable honoly tax. It's so good that it's impossible not to include with the upcoming meta, but if the meta ends up phasing out the insane multi attack decks then Ig he's not as good.
Lilga: Bloom pg, is very good and you know that already :3
4 G Padmini: honestly, I don't know the exact ratio that would be good but I like 4 g so I'm sticking with it for now, plus I don't run many plant tokens so she won't get power (I'll talk more about plants later)
Kera: Has resist and is a g2 with boost. She's very good into denial griffin matchups, since you can stack odette buffs on top of her own. She's also important to call 2 of off Velhemina, since the number will be 45k critical 3 with resist. Very good card.
Horticulture elf: Honestly this is the only card I'm super not sure of. It's very good to call off of Green Katrina for 6 attacks, and it helps search honoly early and other pieces we need, but realistically it's not the greatest and maybe will get cut down a bit.
2 Thuria: Copies names of other units, can boost your bloom combos and can even also be called during the opponents turn in a pinch for +5k off of Ranunculus' Ahsha's GB2. She also bounces herself if necessary to help with MC matchup and others.
The 2-2 Split on Ines: V ines is the best card to call off of Katrina, and can occasionally be a 3rd f2 if you think you need it. G ines lets you botdeck all of your ines to search for bloom pieces and pgs, which is very important vs LJ, MC, and removal in general. G ines also helps on superior stride turn to help us plus at EOT to make sure we live to next turn and clear the field for Green Katrina. V ines doesn't have the same type of utility, but grants a lot of power and deck thinning in main phase. I think that both of these have justifiable utility, and therefore justify having the 2-2 split.
Finally, 4 G ahsha. I don't think it's worth it to try and be cute with Blue ahsha sadly. I love the card and it's helpful into LJ, but you basically have to gain your f2s to have any real chance of winning in this meta, and riding blue ahsha afterwards and having to wait for another turn to get her ride phase effect is super lackluster. You could play 1 if you are afraid of chaos, because you won't get to keep your markers anyways, other than that I wouldn't rely on her for anything else. Especially because the fact we have Green Katrina in Bloom, making it so that we don't need the stride skill as much anymore.
I know I said I'd try not to talk too much here but I have even more I can talk about. If you want more info here I can do that otherwise I can try to send a discord DM or smth.
The only thing I want to say now is that with Neo Nectar you need to pick a lane. If you want to do plant tokens stuff you really should go all in on Green Katrina and play that deck, mixing it with bloom makes it needlessly bricky, and I think that even though I have more faith and fun with Bloom, plants will still be good and you'll need G ahsha for it.
If you want a quick G zone for bloom here it is:
      2 Arborea
      2 Green Katrina
      2 Cycloned
      1 Ladislava
      1 Velhemina
      1 Inverno
      1 Harmonics Messiah
      1 Zoa
      2 Rain Breath Dragon
      1 Antero
      2 Robertina
Change the G zone as you see fit, and I wouldn't copy this for plant tokens.
EDIT: The scenarios in where ladislava and Velhemina are better vary a bit. Velhemina gives you crit 3 rear guards, meaning that if your opponent is at 3 damage they cannot safely take anything, or else they risk the VG swing. Ladislava is good because she also lets you search things you need like Honoly, Sanctitude, Heal guards, ETC. Katrina is the best in terms of numbers most of the time but if you learn the math Ladislava can easily get past 40k columns and restand them. Ladislava is also better in scenarios where your call targets are gone and you can't recycle them conveniently, possibly the turn after a Green Katrina. It's just something to practice and learn :) The other strides are bit more self explanatory. Inverno to recycle and search units, Zoa to end games, Harmonics is just for the shield.
Thank you for your inquiry I Had a lot of fun with this :3

No, Gallop is still bad, because most on hits he can get are useless in todays meta, or are way to overcosted compared to literally anything else the clan can do. He still suffers from R&D not giving Cosmic heroes a clear design path so there is no way to properly play anything around him. Also, Force marker accelration is also unneeded in DP, because the clan only needs 1 Force 2 Marker, and nothing more to get anywhere.
The only card that gives Gallop "some" edge would be helltiger, but he is not available in the west still, and, even if, he can easily be played around to the point he is at best ann annoyance for the opponent unless you go for an insane highroll build.
