I would love to see more videos like this. G era was an incredibly unique time for Vanguard. The clans that rose and fell throughout that 3 year period showed how interesting the eternal format of Vanguard G was before the reboots and rotations

Despite all the chaos and backlash he has created in the meta, Luard will always go down as one of my beloved units and decks of all time. I started playing Shadow Paladin in late 2013-early 2014 because I became a huge fan of the Raildex series as the series helped me out of a dark place at the time. The main characters of Index and Railgun Kmaijou Touma and Mikoto Misaka were voiced by Ren and Rait's JP voice actors so I wanted to pick up the clan as a thank you. While I was far from the best player with the clan and there were still some pretty dark moments, I still had fun with the clan and grew as a player and person (still have some things to work on), from Revengers to Abyss/Witches, to Claret and Diablo. Shadow Paladin went from one of my least favorite clans to one of my favorites along with Dimension Police. When Dragdriver Luard's art was first shown to all of us in Summer 2016, I knew it was going to be the deck for me. I will never forget the moment I pulled the Luard SP clan pack out of my G-BT-09 box on Christmas Day of 2016. I love not only Luard but his whole crew/deck as a whole. I don't care if the deck has to be hit a billion times over to keep it balanced, like with DP I will forever play Shadow Paladin until the day I quit Vanguard as a whole.

    Great video!
Seeing Luard evolve over time was awesome and GBT12 Luard was the pinnacle of deck design and fun IMO. That being said, what happened in GBT14 was tragic . Deck became so aggressive that it couldn't keep enough hand to live through a RInne turn.

Awesome video that brings me memories of my favorite eras of Vanguard. I hope this eventually becomes a series for the rest of the key stride bearers.
