My Dad passed away last month and we were close. He passed in the middle of me trying to get sober and break free of my substance abuse. I first heard this song years ago and after his death I thought of this song but I've been afraid to listen to it because i knew id be a mess. Im having a hard time grapsing my new reality and trying to remain sober. Im glad i made it here. These lyrics hit you completely different when you lose someone close to you. When he says "ima let my soul cry thru these words" I FELT That. . I like to write and make music and this is perfect way to get out how I'm feeling when I cant express myself.
