It looked like, yes. Also because orange hit even more than black. But they fight each other before Kylted get all. Sometimes you can find a real buddy to do stuff like that. I had a game in the past with nearly the same situation. My "partner" also missed the fortify, I doesn't took his cap. At least he sent all his troops in the other guy and gifted me his 5 cards to win the game.
Wow. That was so clutch Kyle. I thought you for sure were going to lose but then saw the same thing you did which is black being noob and not slidering
Yeah I think it’s just he went into black at the wrong time, managing to tick black off. Plus retook aggressively which continues the war…understanding noob psychology is important
99% collab...85% same player. Orange was just suiciding over and over and over again and Black was letting Orange keep cap and continents. Oranage knew...because Orange and Black are the same player? Also, notice they were softening up different caps, and then both going after the same. So, it's pretty much beyond certain that you were tag-teamed by two players or the same one. Great work pulling out the V.
Nah this is what happens when you and orange are already enemies and then you decide to break black’s orient and would have broken their Russia as well. Beginners don’t like that stuff so you united orange and black fully against you. I’d have gone passive for a few turns to let them inevitably hit each other instead…collaborating and hating your guts for a game often look very similar 😂 I’ve definitely done the same against a GM when they were too fast and aggressive
Some tells I've discovered with collabs: - one of the accounts will have a custom name, while the other is a generic "General Troopguy 12012". The generic name is usually the same player but on mobile. - The main account will tend to turtle while the other account will stir shit constantly for seemingly no reason. Basically stealing the attention away while the main account hides until end game. Orange had the custom name, so I would think that was the main account. Hints why black wasn't going for the kill. - The mobile account will fuck with everyone but somehow be a super good neighbor the main account - Main will be equal or higher to the Mobile account which will almost always be a Beginner/Novice. Oh hey! Orange was [slightly] higher than black. Hmmm.
I like how he thought he was winning and you were just toying with him. At the same time, didn’t drag it out. Really awesome game! And the icing on top is that the forbidden word didn’t get uddered! 🍯
Hey Kylted I fall asleep to your videos, so please don't have radical shifts in volume. I can sleep to rock music, I can sleep to soft sounds, but I can't sleep to big swings in volume. Thanks for your consideration.
Even when Kylted gets decent card and dice luck the game puts up against probable collabers. You always gotta play on hard mode Kylted, and it is very entertaining!
I feel like the higher rank you are, the algorithm is set to difficult. I wonder if it's a built in game mechanic based on skill points that they won't admit to.
Came back to Risk because of Pete. Stayed because of Kylted. I love your videos man. Your personality is great and your games are mad entertaining. You've turned me into a Risk bully and the games are so much more fun now. Ram-dingle that fudge tunnel, baby!
Kylted, gg, there are a lot to learn about cardblocking, you should watch some Speedster stuff, you had a chance to cardblock orange and black at the same time plus against black a lot faster than you did.. Just a tip, when someone does what black did at 1:00:08 , you could have just blitzed his stack, and even if you didn't win, you could have just fortify all of your troops from on of your caps to the 1 you had left (and he would have less than you and still be stuck for a turn), instead of what you did which is giving him more cards.. plus you could have left him with more territories before, just so you could farm him for cards instead of just stacking troops from bonuses.. Not trying to go down on you, just trying to help, love your stuff
You explain an alternative way to win that is still another way to win, although more risk if he has a set on 3 in that moment and tries to cap run. It's like in chess if you watch Magnus Carlsen play and he has multiple pathways to win and the Computers say his position is +8.5 but a slight error loses it, so he chooses a straight and direct +6.0 pathway because its easy and simple and requires much less thinking / no risk. I did not try to double card block them because all of their troops were consistently going into me and the sets were still very low, so if I have most of my troops off capital to try to cardblock them and they both trade and smash my stacks, or even just 1 of them does... I get much much weaker and possibly lose part of my position to the other player since they would now be open. I appreciate your insight, and I do love me some Speedster.. but I disagree with your approach to how to finish this game in particular.
Your tip isn't really correct to begin with. He still has to take a card and when he spilts his 30 stacks black will get a card. He didn't really have enough on Bengazi to full fortify after 0% roll unless he added his troops there which make taking a card with a30 attack expose a card. Try to remember Kyle is a gm and a better player than you, he was practically toying with him bc he's a noob. Makes the video more entertaining
And also like Kyle says card blocking orange and black simultaneously is a downright stupid move. You watch speedster he always mentions card blocking isn't effective early on and especially vs 2 or more players. Like he said you will just lose your caps. And especially in this match since orange and black were the same player lmao.
If you 2 point held the entire left side of the map from Prussia and Venice this game would have been done way quicker. Would have been gaining ~20 extra troops per turn which would have been too much for black and orange to do anything
Oh I made a notepad file when I played 1v1 as a new player, and it tells me cap rolls on things up to 30 cap I think. I check it very occasionally. I think other players have much better methods to check@@NoamKasperski

@kylted It was very tempting to take central Europe in the middle of the game, so we got a bonus from the territories of +13, considering that the opponents were constantly wasting two bonuses of +4 each. Further passive sitting looked very promising, since with the total number of forces for each round +37-38, you can simply stand on the defensive and watch how the orange and black players are forced to weaken each other every round. But this is very risky. Also, killing the orange player was premature; it was necessary to give him one more card to draw. this is what this guy said
I don't think orange and black were collaborating as in they knew each other or were the same person. I don't know why but this game makes people extremely loyal just by being a little nice or finding a common enemy. I don't think people take ranked seriously, I certainly don't (just play for fun) that's probably why people settle for second place often.
Good call capping in the noob corner, and how lucky that you only had to hit ones to take Great Britain and Iceland first turn! And you were correct to report orange and black for cheating. Maybe they weren't, but their level of coordination in double teaming you was suspicious enough to justify the report.
Looked like collab but as usual this means they weren't skilled players. Because skilled players would have the self-respect not to collab. You played it right killing one ASAP, and had the skill and game-sense to take territory and break without opening caps, which is all you really needed since that already produced errors. Well played, satisfying win and deserved report.
Suuuuuuper sus from orange and black IMO. Given their skill levels/ranks I don’t think they’d BOTH have realised that you were such a threat and would need teaming on as they’re simply not good enough.
Orange did a full suicide while black was also putting his stack in place to follow up. Looks like collaboration to me.
Yeah. I can't be sure but it definitely felt weird
It looked like, yes. Also because orange hit even more than black. But they fight each other before Kylted get all.

I don't think so, they were hitting each other for a while, and orange also took a turn to check and see if black slammed his capital.
Yeah I think it’s just he went into black at the wrong time, managing to tick black off. Plus retook aggressively which continues the war…understanding noob psychology is important

Oooo I could see that. Same player theory seems quite possible
Yeah bc black never once saw the yellow cap and immediately knew where to go and that is definitely info he wouldn't have had unless same player
They are still novices though. If they were better they might have a chance
Nah this is what happens when you and orange are already enemies and then you decide to break black’s orient and would have broken their Russia as well. Is the world domination victory just a flex or does it give more rank points?
Just a flex and more satisfying as it’s like you’ve 100% completed the map and dominated everyone rather than just captured their caps
Mostly it just feels good to conquer the entire map. It feels like I missed something if I cap run. Although some times you can't avoid it
