As well as being super skilled at the game they intentionally wait to kill the boss until its showed all of its attacks (so an actual PROPER boss showcase) unlike other people like shirrako and boss fight database who are terrible at video games and kill the bosses as quickly as possible

@@baifomet6425 Mania borrowed from the classic Trilogy, that's wright, but even there they had challenging bosses like Sonic 2's and 3's final bosses that were really challenging even after perfecting the game several times unlike Mania's that's a complete joke. And there are several more examples that show how Mania's bosses are a big downgrade comparing with the classic games' bosses

I know some people love this about Sonic Mania, but I really cannot stand how EVERYTHING in this game is in the service of nostalgia; this is a game that makes no attempt to stand on its own two feet, but only stands on everything that came before it.
just saying im fairly certain you took damage in the last fight as super sonic whenever you were hitting the boss and can hear the ring noise your rings went down by ten rings im pretty sure thats how damage works as super sonic
It's arguably the best official Sonic game, plus you have the Sonic movies bringing in new fans (like my kids who are obsessed with Mania and Frontiers atm)

Sonic Mania is a masterpiece
The one negative with this game is it’s the prelude to Sonic Forces.
It was intended to advertise the next game and ended up being the better one.
And the bosses are way too easy and barely offer any challenge

You can't take damage in the Mean Bean Machine boss.
