With three great cleaners, that oven and stovetop didn't stand a chance! You were so kind to bring Davis along. You are a good person, Bonnie, and a genuinely kind soul. Blessings.
That is so nice of you to help the lady going through breast cancer recovery. I'm a 19 year survivor, going on 20 and it would of been great if someone, anyone would have offered to come help me. Also, you give me inspiration to clean my own oven. My oven says to not get that nylon around the door wet though and only spray water inside and turn on the cleaning mode to "steam" it clean. Teaching the boys to do cleaning is awesome too as when they grow up they won't think its a girl's job. Good job on growing your channel and looking forward to seeing you collaborate with Midwest Majic! Can't wait to see it!
So happy you are still here 20 years later! Love to hear survivor stories! I didn't know that about the nylon. I wonder why you aren't supposed to get it wet. 🤔
@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp not sure if it's all ovens that aren't supposed to clean or get the nylon wet but my manual that came with mine says not to.
My mother has a similar oven where the overflow of anything would seep underneath that plate. One year she made a big goose for Christmas dinner and unbeknownst to us the grease overflowed and went underneath that plate. So every time after Christmas she would use her oven it would smoke like crazy but it appeared clean on the bottom. Well we took off that plate and there was an inch of goose grease underneath. What bad design!
Wow, how fortunate is your friend to have you and McKay. Your helper was so happy to get stuck in. I dont have kids and I really dont mind. As I get older I know that there are plenty kids to love in the world, at all ages. You are so fun and such a good teacher... Love you content

I clean for my great aunt, and often my little nieces and nephews are nearby and ask to help. I admit that this is one of the areas in which I struggle. I’m impatient and just want to get on with my cleaning (I’m also introverted and enjoy the quiet, repetitive environment of cleaning). I loved to see your patience with the boys, and their resulting enthusiasm. I wonder if I can adopt the same attitude with my nieces and nephews! I know they are craving connection, and that’s more important than getting something perfectly clean or even than doing it quickly.
Well said. I, too, I'm guilty of just wanting to do something myself so that it's done quickly and the right way and I also am one who enjoys cleaning by myself, but I am striving to teach others how to serve. This was definitely more about serving than making the oven perfectly clean. They were awesome helpers! I think that's a great idea to involve your nieces and nephews in helping you, especially if they are already asking to help. It takes a little extra patience, but it's so worth it when you see how happy it makes them! Good luck!
Love the kids eagerness to help. I remember having an enthusiastic helper cleaning an oven before- I don't think her mum was too happy, its a messy job! Great job!!

They will appreciate how much work goes into keeping a house clean. Great Job! I love watching your videos!
Awesome job for you guys. I need a helper like them. I totally forgot my oven is exactly like this and that plate comes off. I can't believe I forgot that.

I came here from your collab with barbie & Midwest cleaning, I am loving your channel at the moment, I have been binge watching you for the last couple of days.
I really enjoyed this collab! It's fun also because I've never really cleaned an oven myself and it's fun to learn from this perspective of teaching kids to do it that are interested in it. I'd subscribe if he'd start a channel! Also your enthusiasm for cleaning and like how you think it's super fun, it's so nice to have that as opposed to you know, the usual "ugh, cleaning" sentiment. Having ADHD, it really matters to connect with this positive energy towards things that have to be done.🥰
I love how Mack pointed out on his last video that cleaning is often associated with negative feelings as a child and that's usually why people don't enjoy it. So, I agree, having some positive feelings around cleaning really helps to make it, if not fun, at least a little more tolerable.😁
Mom would use vinegar on my back when I got sun burned. Yup before the days of sunscreen 🥴🫣it burnt like heck. So sweet of little Davis wanting to collaborate with you. Love the boys team work 🥳🎊🎉Your friend with all those health issues 😢🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️ bless her heart, prayers for her
Ouch! That sounds like it would really hurt. I've never heard of using vinegar for a sunburn. I assume it helps to take the burn out of it? Yes, this was a fun collaboration. My friend just finished her radiation treatment, so we are hoping and praying that the breast cancer is gone now🙏

I didn't see where you talked about cleaning the racks, and you could've done anything that was removable with a simple hack I recently found, that works easily and wonderfully without scrubbing. Fill your tub 1/4 way full, with hot water, put in 2 dishwasher pods, I used Great Value, I don't know if another brand would be better. Swish water to dissolve the soap. Place the racks into the water and let sit several hours to over night. You will see the enzymes inthe solution reacting with the grease. All I had to do was use a regular sponge to clean the racks after, the grease literally rinsed off. My racks were exceptionally dirty, so I cleaned out the tub and did it again. They came out perfect with only haing to clean a few areas with a small wire toothbrush. This works on BBQ racks also!! Just want to comment about your surgeries. Ive had Lumbar and servical fusion, injections in my shoulder ( it needs surgery), a severly dislocated ankle surgery twice in a year, and a hysterectomy. All since 2019. I have horrible arthritis too. I used to do what you do! You must have a wonderful pain management doctor, because Tylenol and ibuprofen aren't working for me. I'm just saying be extra careful!🥰☺️
Thanks for the great tips! And I'm sorry about all the surgeries. No fun at all! I do have a terrific pain management doctor, thank goodness; nonetheless, I still have to be very aware of how I'm lifting, etc. to try to avoid more damage to my back especially. Thanks for the comment!❤
I have a question: Does anyone on You Tube have a self-cleaning oven? If you wipe up all the big messes, they do work really well. Just asking. I don't understand why people want to use oven cleaner instead of the self-cleaning mode.
I have used the self cleaning mode before and I don't like the smell it gives off or the heat that it puts out. It has been quite a few years since I've used that mode though, so maybe I did have a spill that I should have cleaned up first, but I also don't mind scrubbing off the yuck.😁
I am guessing most of them do, however, I personally have only ever used that setting once and I will never do it again because it made me so sick because of the smell it emits and it made my house all smokey. Even though oven cleaner has a strong scent, I still prefer to use that over the self clean option. It also takes forever for that smell to go away. There's something about it that gives me an instant headache and makes me super nauseous. I don't know why, but I've heard other people say the same thing. But, if that's something that works for you to use, that's awesome because I'm sure that does save a lot of time. I just can't do it personally.😊
Bonnie do you have autoimmune disease? I wonder because I do and have had the same types of surgeries. It is like all the joints and ligaments just deteriorate so easy.
Well, I've never officially been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, though there was a point when my doctor thought I may have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which is apparently very common in people with autism for whatever reason. He never could make that an official diagnosis, but still thinks there may be some connective tissue disorder because I have had a lot of issues with my joints and ligaments, etcetera. What autoimmune disease do you have? I have been very fortunate to have found something called Low Dose Naltrexone, which helps me to manage my pain, especially the pain in my joints. It is always there to some degree, but is much more manageable than it was prior to being on LDN. I see a pain specialist every month in order to stay on top of my pain.
Hi, what kind of vinger do you use? I thought you use cleaning vinegar and not natural which you do in maals. But when you did the challenge I thought it would be the last one. So you might to make that very clear. Like the result. Do the scrappers make no scratchen? I still not dear to use it.
It was just regular vinegar. I just ordered some cleaning vinegar as I'm sure it will work a little better for cleaning, but on this job, it was just regular vinegar, not the concentrated stuff.😊
@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp Hi in my country you cannot consume cleaning vinegar. Sometimes you can make the mistake, because they put it the same kind of plastic bottle. So you have to read it carefull. I cleaned out my sisters house and she had also cleaning vinegar. But it looked like my naturel vinegar, which I use. I took it back home. I almost ruined my Meat. I could wash it with water, but it was not that good anymore.
I know the bottles here specifically say cleaning vinegar on them. The vinegar I used was actually from Heinz, which is a food company, so you know it's totally safe to consume.
I hate vinegar, yes really cannot stand the smell or taste. 😖😵... Vile acidic stuff, and also wine just tastes like vinegar to me no matter which one or how expensive it's just vinegar !! 😂
I'm sure they still have a self-cleaning feature, but I know I personally hate to use the self-cleaning feature because the smoke and the smell that it puts out give me the worst headache.
This is just wonderful on so many levels! ❤❤

Soo it looked like a newer oven none of these ovens are self cleaning now?
I'm sure they still have a self-cleaning feature, but I know I personally hate to use the self-cleaning feature because the smoke and the smell that it puts out give me the worst headache.
