Yesterday was my very first time taking accutane! I’m very nervous for the side affects especially for mental illness/depression but I really hope in the end it’s worth it!! Very helpful video💘💘💘

Heeeey! ❤️🤗 Thank you for leaving me a comment! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I totally get your nervousness about Accutane and its potential side effects, especially regarding mental health. I'll be putting together a more in-depth video on this topic, but for now, my advice is to keep a close eye on your mental well-being. 💫 If you ever feel like something's off or it becomes overwhelming, talk about it! Do you have a support system around you? The key right now is to be kind to yourself. ❤️ Be your own best friend. You've got this! LOADS of strength and patience heading your way! 🍀

Thanks for sharing your journey in detail! Your skin look amazing 💯 I'm at week 3, started seeing a little dryness and maybe digestive symptoms, but I'm managing for now. I'm using a thick moisturizer and a humidifier. Also I was started on a low dose. I'm seeing what is either purging or just more breakouts due to hormonal fluctuations, but I've had worse before. Also I wanted to point out, if you saw hair shedding while on the medication but then your hair grew back, that's "hair fall" and not "hair loss". I put off accutane for a long time because I was scared of hair loss, but turns out it's just temporary hair shedding for most people

Heeeeeeey🙋🏻‍♀️ , thank you SO SO MUCH for your comment, and sorry for my late response. It’s truly been a while.. First of all!!!!, how are you doing today?! How have you been handling the treatment, and what's the current state of your acne? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your side effects have been manageable and that you haven't had more issues 💖 , especially with the digestive symptoms. By the way, thanks a lot for pointing out the difference between hair shedding and hair loss. You're absolutely right, and I meant it correctly but used the wrong terms. I'll make sure to use the correct terminology in the future to avoid causing unnecessary worry for others!!!!! I hope you are doing well both mentally and physically! Best wishes from Berlin, Lyscha

Hello 🤓, I'm really sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've actually already uploaded a series of videos about acne scars and what helped me. Feel free to check them out. It definitely took some time, and I explain what worked for me in those videos. If you have more questions, just post them here. Best wishes! 🌸

Hey Lyscha, it’s a very personal question, but did you had to take the pill while being in accutane?

Heey 🙋🏻‍♀️ Thank you for reaching out and asking! I totally get that it's on your mind, this is probably a burning question for every woman considering Accutane. I'm actually working on a video where I'll dive into this topic in detail, but for now, a quick answer: NO, I didn't have to take the pill during Accutane. Still, I had to make sure to use contraception 100%. No way around it. Feel free to share more about your experience if you want. Did your doctor recommend anything similar in your case? 🤗🧡
