Good stuff indeed bro! I am getting my DOT Compliance Binder in order as we speak. All i am waiting on is insurance documents and the certificate from the FMCSA. Oh i think i need IFTA in the binder since I'll run tractor-trailers..

I might. Will you have Non-CDL runs for sprinter vans? I'm going to hustle for 4 to 6 months to earn enough for a 26' box truck sleeper. Then use my CDL class A to run hazmat loads.
I'd prefer running Laredo loads to Florida and the southeastern states along I-10 and I-20 unless there's better money running to California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and NM.

@@truckingempire563 There are temperature ratings for sleeping bags. You want one rated below freezing and another lighter one for temps from 60 to 30.
Take one with you according to the forecasts.

I Thought you couldn't sleep in the truck period. 🥴 I'm bout to go check and if you can sheesh gone be easy for me I lived in my car for a year before I had everything I needed to bounce back.
Technically your not supposed to but ive been inspected twice with my pillows and sheets in the truck and never a word said. Ive also talked to a dot person and they said long as you stay within dot regulation ur good. Oh and only sleep at pilots

@@ajworld8626 Rest areas can be hella sketchy with random inspections by state troopers or even violence from randos.
Most truck stops have security, but after a meal and a shower you still want to lock up and go to sleep. Everyone starts back up just before sunrise.
And this sleeping arrangement isn't DOT compliant so look for a box truck sleeper if you're serious about the business.
What about those blow up beds for the back seats for cars? I'm thinking of trying that

Bro you do it the hard way . I use the same truck get yourself a baby mattress and a bar and a portable generator that's what I use

Just tuck the curtain behind the sun visors.. flip them down will hold your curtain up just fine..
Great tips. I've been box trucking since February, I ran into a few problems but all turns into great lessons. Work has been great. Looking forward to purchasing a 2nd truck mid Dec. Normally I stay in hotel/motel that I have commercial accounts with. I spend about $2200 a month on hotels, I would love to cut it down 50% or more. Where can I get that sun blocker from? Thanks
Get something with a 30ft box like a Isuzu FVR or FTR and then get this guy to build you a 48" sleeper like this one ruclips.net/video/j7IzLmv6siA/видео.html .......you'd still have 26' of cargo space and somewhere to sleep.
