For a bit of context, 'mark's theme' is a piece made for Lewis (the sax player) 's uncle Mark who passed away during covid and the short voice memo at the end of the song is a recording of Mark leaving a voicemail to Lewis. its really beautiful

Love this album so much! If you like this you should check out the band Black Midi (especially their album Hellfire), they're closely affiliated with BCNR and their music is also insane

One of my favorite albums of all time! If you're looking for more in this vein, black midi and Squid are both great artists as well

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. The sound selection and storytelling are so vulnerable and broad. If you get the chance you should listen to Hypochondriac by Brakence. He collabs with Quad a lot and his production is on the same level.

I never get tired of this amazing album, and of course the reactions are amazing. Glad you enjoyed it.

Your comment about this album being an all-timer after Chaos Space Marine was my exact reaction when I first heard this album the day it released
