same. I've watched every single one and still can't get enough. I highly recommend Jon Denton's reaction of Ants and all the other BCNR records if you hvaen't already watched those. But there's so many good reactions out there but he's the first that came to mind rn
So few of them. The YT reactors are always following each other, chasing viewers and trends. Maybe it'll change when one of the big ones (Justin Hawkins?) jumps in.
Loved your reaction! If you want you could check out their Live At Bush Hall album, full of new material without Isaac. It's really good. Also black midi is another band to check out.
I couldn't stop hearing the David Bowie influence on this album, especially Issacs vocals its wicked. You need to listen to their first album 'For the First time' its my favourite album of the decade easily, its a more sinister post rock album than this one (if you'd call this album post rock im not sure)
I’m so glad you got to this album, it’s one of the most special beautiful miserably enjoyable albums I’ve ever heard, their first album is also amazing just less so in the miserable way and more of an angsty way but because of that it makes for some really fun and more hyper moments that aren’t in Ants From Up There, Sunglasses was their first single for the album and also the song that kinda really sprung their popularity I’d strongly recommend that one if you don’t just listen to the whole album. Love the vids Walter keep it up you’ve been my fav reactor ever since I found you because of Gizz
I'm in my 60's and honestly think we may need to go back to the mid-1970's to find a better album. The repeat listen value of this album is off the scale.
you should react to their first album, “for the first time” its a lot noisier and i think youd really like it :) you should also maybe check out black midi’s album “hellfire” if youd like
It’s not a concept album though. An album having a concept does not make it a “concept album”. The songs fit certain themes, but they aren’t overarching or tell any sort of distinct story.
the distinct story is about a failing co-dependant Long distance relationship which also is a metaphor about the mental health and reasons behind Isaac leaving the band. Thats the theory.
Ants From Up There reaction videos are currently my favorite genre

Totally agree, cant decide if I want him to do Bush Hall or their first album first. The video for Bush Hall is so good though

I played this album for my parents and they were really into it.
The intro reminds me a lot of Phillip Glass.
You actually have one of the more insightful commentaries on music ive seen here. Got yourself a new subscriber :)
Legenday album...legit gets even better/more affecting with each listen. A pleasure listening to it yet again "with you."

I'm glad you also got the ItAOtS feel a bit!
It was such a pleasure to watch you listening to basketball shoes for the first time. Subbed.
Haldern to me feels like a wide shot in a movie at night of a quarry being run by an Aznazon-type company
Special album great review
why was he smiling to basketball shoes
yo do the other ones too
"I've actually really really enjoyed this album"
**yawns**
It was late at night 😂 I’ve actually listened to it quite a bit since.
