I used boracare on my deck. Completely got rid of my carpenter ants. It also soaks into the wood. You have to apply prior to staining your deck. My only regret was not applying before I had a problem. I could have sprayed the underside of the deck boards. Great stuff. Easy to use.
🛠️🚫 Just used Bora Care for DIY termite, fungus, and powder post beetle control, and I'm seriously impressed! 🐜🪵 It's like a shield for my home, protecting it from those hidden threats. 🏠💪 Easy to apply and super effective-no more worrying about termite damage, wood rot fungus or pesky powder post beetles! Highly recommend for anyone looking to safeguard their home. 💯 #DIYPestControl #HomeProtection #BoraCare
Update: This product us designed for wood destroying organisms. Like wood rot fungus but the company does not say it addresses mold with this product, for that you would need Bora Care/Mold Care - diy.crawlspaceninja.com/bora-care-with-mold-care-moldicide-concentrate/
Great question. I decided to reach out to Nisus for the answer. Here is what they said. BoraCare doesn't kill by external contact. It kills by the termites either attempting to feed on wood, crawling across the surface and transferring bora care to themselves as well as the mud tubes and others in the colony, and when the termites groom themselves and others in the colony. Yes, it prevents termites from creating mud tubes. When the termites start to build a tube, they bring humidity and water. This causes the Bora-Care to reliquefy and diffuse into the tunnels (much like it diffused into wood). It doesn't matter if the material is wood, concrete or metal. It deters tunnel building.

Wow thanks for sharing! We will note that down!
Is this the stuff that gets put inbetween walls down on ground/plate before sheetrock goes up?
I am not sure we use it in crawl spaces. Have you seen it use that way where you are at?

When you mention fungus, would that be mold?
Fungus can be mold and any other type of odor creating organisms.

Does Bora-Care kill termites on contact? And does it prevent termites from creating mud tunnels?

@@CrawlSpaceNinja thank you so much! Such an amazing product!
Hey Micheal is it possible to start my own buisness just from watching your Chanel?
I think it’s most definitely possible!
I have had people reach out to me that said they have started a business after watching our channel. Thanks for watching.
@@CrawlSpaceNinja no need to take any classes or anything?
@@redsresearch I would check with your state. Some require contractors license that would need classes and testing.
