You just saved me and my family a world of stress and money. Thank you so so much! You are much appreciated. We live in a rural area and no good internet service at all. Now I bought a separate cell phone with the unlimited plan paying $60 a month and now I have hotspot everywhere in my home.
well thank you for the positive feedback, you are very welcome. comments like these reinforce the whole point of making these types of videos. i could care less about the subs, vies, or likes. whats makes me smile is knowing i could help out those in situations such as yours. alos, if you have connection issues with pdanet for any reason, i just uploaded a video on a different tethering app thats usb only, but full speed, unlike pdanets usb tethering option
Also if you want to prevent getting flagged by your carrier, I would suggest spoofing a wireless adapter Mac address (pdanet or easytether) to match that of your phone. That way, the carrier won't be able to differentiate between whether you're using a computer or the phone itself
i can imagine. for some reason, the pdanet usb tethering sucks ass, but easytether pro is quite stable and much faster. ive got some other videos regarding tethering, one of which explains how to use the native android hotspot and full speed without having a tethering plan
@@ViolentKisses87 Honestly wasn't trying to plug the vids, this was just the first one I did on tethering, and better methods have surfaced since that I prefer over pdanet. Appreciate the support nonetheless, means a lot
i feel like im missing the part where connectify helps? you can already share your pdanet connection from pc usb with ethernet and send it to your router using just the network and internet settings in windows 10. also where did the proxy come from? is it the same proxy that anyone should use regardless of the service provider? is it specific to verizon or pda net?
The proxy is specific to pdanet, not a particular carrier. As for the stock settings, if it works for you, go for it. I think for me it has issues when trying to share a wifi direct hotspot like pdanet via ethernet. Hoped that was the answer you were looking for
@@00gr1ngo8 well i went ahead and tried it myself and figured that part out but thank you for the answer! i do have a new question though. Ive been using pdanet full unlocked version for years now, but for almost every phone there is, you cant use the foxfi "wifi hotspot" so in this video when you say you get around 3x better speed by using hotspot, do you mean you are using foxfi hotspot or the wifi direct hotspot on pdanet? i tried using the wifi direct because my phone (oneplus 6 with att straight talk) cant do the foxfi hotspot. so i tried with direct hotspot and got the same speeds both with the proxy and without it. Does the proxy ONLY work if youre NOT using a vpn on the phone? i use nordvpn. and i actually get better speeds with usb tethering while nord is connected than i do when ive got no vpn on at all. also have you ever done anything with a mofi 4500 modem/router at all? ive been searching for ways to usb tether using pda net to the mofi 4500 for about a month and apparently im the only person on earth whos ever googled it because there is NO INFO whatsoever on the net about how to do it or anyone even trying it. also have you tried anything with visible wireless sim to use as your home internet? working on the best way to do a combo of these things at the moment, its a f**** nightmare dude :'(
@@supermcawesome7304 I completely switched to easytether pro, hardly use pdanet anymore. You get full speed tethering, it's more secure, and doesn't drain your battery if you leave it on. Also just uploaded a video on unlocking the stock android wifi hotspot for both windows and linux. Might be worth checking out as well
@@00gr1ngo8 Does easytether pro HIDE tethering usage? like if i was not allowed to tether at all with my plan it would allow me to while also preventing it from being seen by phone company?
Have pdanet fully unlocked with FoxFi key and premium connectify, when it connects it says no internet... I don't know what I'm doing wrong... I've used pdanet before but wanted to try connectify to run to router
Tetrd Is the best option as of 7/28/2022. It’s around $6 and you get your phone’s full internet speed connection. You can also connect a router to your computer’s ethernet port to share the internet connection with other devices. After you connect the router go to your computer’s network connection’s adapter settings by going to the “Network and Sharing Center” and clicking “Change Adapter Settings”. In the adapter settings right click on the Tetrd connection and click properties. Go to the “Sharing” tab then enable “Internet Connection Sharing” and select your computers Ethernet port (If you only have 2 adapters on your computer then simply checking the box will work). You now have a high speed connection for your devices.
If you use a VPN while sharing the pdanet USB tethering from your internet phone, will the devices getting the internet receive vpn protection as well?
Thank you so much for this video! I especially want to thank you for the proxy settings. I couldn't connect my VPN until I changed it and the internet is MUCH faster. I live out in the boonies so I can't tell you how happy I am! My internet has never ever been this good out here.

id say give easytether pro a try. ive been using that app a lot more these days. usb tethering only, but the speeds should be as fast as they would be on the phone, as well as more stable
@@honeyb_yt no shit? that sucks, just glad you were able to figure it out. i put up a vid on using easytether pro, definitely a more stable connection if you have any issues in the future. been using that instead of pdanet for the last few months. also, theres clients available for windows, mac, and damn near every distro of linux
@@00gr1ngo8 Ive been using pdaNet for 3 years, and i used easy teather pro 2 for 2 years before that. My ISP (both verizon and att) recognized easy teather and tried to force me to get a teather plan. So i stopped using it. Pdanet has always been good for me and they have never caught it so?
@@00gr1ngo8 Oh i also had a question about the proxy settings you used. How did you find the IP address you were supposed to use for the proxy. Im guessing it is Verizon specific. I use ATT at the moment and your proxy settings do not work for me.
I have a s21+. I get about 25-55mbit download where I'm at and about 3 bars of 5g. When I usb tether it to my computer, it only allows me to download at 180kb/s. It seems capped. I never used to be like this, a couple months ago. I can't seem to figure it out. It seems to have something to do with windows 10. But I use my father's s7 i get his full downloads speeds at around 2-5mb/s while downloading files. I can't seem to figure it out at all. I used to download files at 5mb/s. I do have a US cellular prepaid plan. I do a speedtest on my phone I get 55mbit, when I tether it and do speedtest on my pc I get 2mbit with same signal.
try easytether pro instead of pdanet. i hardly use pdanet anymore, but its true that for some reason usb tether with pdanet is significantly slower that wifi direct. however, usb tether with easytether pro should be at full speed. hope this helps
@@Lyricz-4-us you can go to mobile-stream(dot)com to grab the client, the app can be found on the play store. you want the pro version, which i believe is like 10 bucks for a lifetime activation, but you can also find a cracked apk if you were to google it. up to you, i just wont post a link on where to get the cracked software, as the devs definitely deserve the support. i use easytether daily as my primary internet connection, and the ability to tether full speed works on windows, mac, and damn near every distro of linux, while full speed pdanet tethering only works well on windows, if you can get it to stay connected
It's not working for me. The routed connection to the router I connected to shows as a client (?) WTH? That's supposed to be the wifi hotspot sending the signal. It showed up as wifi on my tablet as I named it in Connectifi but it doesn't actually connect to it. Help?
try uninstalling and reinstalling pdanet on your pc. make sure to go though all the steps during the installation so the proper drivers for both wifi direct and usb are installed
Only if you're paying for a plan that includes hotspot. If you're using an unlimited prepaid plan like I am that doesn't include tethering, this is the method to achieve that
I tried the app. And connection was established between phone and pc. The adapter status says "internet access". But i cant connect to the internet. Is it required to get the full version for it to work?
If you were to connect a 5ghz mesh puck to a switch and hardwire 2.4ghz only devices to that, would that theoretically remove the need to purchase the pro version of connectify? It's only 10 bucks and a mesh puck and switch cost more, but just curious.
So I'm using cricket wireless (att) and I was wondering, if I set windows ttl time to 65 and vpn would they ever find out using this? I'm currently living in a rural area with no internet at all, only copper dsl lines and nobody will service those anymore. Any response is appreciated, thanks.
With Verizon, I don't do anything to hide my usage. There is an option to hide tether usage within the PdaNet app itself, so that might be an easier option. Whatever puts your mind at ease is probably worth it
@@msi__638 yeah, at&t doesn't even list pdanet on the play store, you have to download the apk from their website. Greedy bitches, man. I'd definitely use the hide tether option, and any other methods you can. Better safe than sorry. Wouldn't doubt it if at&t flags you if they catch wind

if you create the hotspot through the pdanet client, and then use connectify to tether the connection to your ps5, it should work. if you try to use pdanet direct to the ps5 without the pc to bridge the connection, it wont work
Maybe you can answer this question... If it makes a difference, what are the best phones to use as modem/hotspot? I haven't been able to find out anything.
any phone that has a strong, stable lte connection with relatively fast speeds should work. really depends on the carrier and where you're located. my suggestion would be to find the carrier with the best service/speeds for your area, and sign up for an unlimited plan (truly unlimited, no data cap). hopwever, i wouldnt suggest a phone any older than 2 or 3 years. mine is 2 years old, works like a charm
I was able to use my hotspot on my motox4 android. I got a A10 and now its restricted. Can i just go back to my old phone and use hotspot again? I need to know asap please
@@00gr1ngo8 okay so what they're saying is when I upgraded my phone they limit your unlimited data because they don't want you using it on a big screen like my TV or laptop. Because of the Broadband with. I had a moto X4 and I got a Samsung A10, the A-10 wants me to subscribe to hotspot service. So I'm going to take this phone back and put everything back on the old phone so that I can use my Hotspot or tethering. I'm just hoping that my old phone will still work the same
@@alicesaid9761 pdanet is essentially a back door option for tethering. I have no hotspot plan through Verizon whatsoever, it's just that when tethering through the PdaNet app, it makes it seem as though all the data being used on other devices is actually being used on the phone itself. If I try to use the legitimate hotspot option through the phones settings, it's dead slow, basically unusable. You should be able to tether with the Samsung and pdanet no problem
pdanet is so slow on mine it differs in speed lets say i pay for 400mp speed pdanet only gives me no more than 42mbs yeah its fast enough to do most but its extremly slow comapred to the wifi speed the phone is actually getting
I feel you there man. I use easytether pro these days. Give it a shot, maybe grab a cracked version if you don't feel like paying for it right away. I hardly use pdanet anymore
Not this method. This entire configuration relies on a windows operating system to work. I've contacted pdanet to request a client for Linux, they basically told me to get fucked. They were nicer than that, but there are no plans for a Linux client. The only way to connect Linux to the hotspot is to change your proxy and port number, then connect to the pdanet listing in your network connections
Could you do a tutorial on how to wire the router? I followed all the tutorials and it works but my laptop has a slow adapter so the wifi that comes from it is really slow
@@00gr1ngo8 honestly, I was already looking for a new laptop since the one I have is kind of old. But the problem with the wifi card is that it can't output the wifi with a good speed. Doing the change to usb won't fix much as the problem is with the hotspot

Used this your years on my ANdroid and have loved it. Recently Switched to Iphone and cannot find something similar. They I phone version is no longer supported according to June yet its is still on their site for down load. Can you offer any help please. Thank you
Only suggestion I can offer is to switch back to Android. Even if you were able to jailbreak your iPhone, I'd imagine it would still be overly complicated. Android supports apps like these natively. Another option would be to hold on to the Android phone, so when you need to make a hotspot, just swap the sim card from the iphone to the Android. Best of luck

I believe it has to do with PdaNet being a virtual network adapter, as opposed to traditional Wi-Fi being a real Network adapter. For whatever reason, windows doesn't allow a hotspot to be created when using a virtual network adapter. That's why I use the program connectify
Connectify allows you to use any network adapter and either create a hotspot from it, or route it to an ethernet port for wired network sharing or pass through to a wireless router
Is my problem unique? My old Android phone worked perfectly fine with wired tethering from phones data to my Toshiba laptop/windows 10... Lickety split, instantly connected... But new one only works with wifi hotspot (laptop receives phones data through wifi/hotspot, but nothing happens when plug in cord/tethering) Had both my friends try their phones, and instantly connected with wired tethered, but mine? Literally nothing happens, just the usual "file transfer" options. I searched every option in the phone, it says tethering is on and even tried developer options. What on earth gives!?! ...I just feel so silly, because the phone is right there, and there simply is no need for any extra frequencies floating around in the air. Plus it drains my phone battery like crazy.....HELP! 😭
I would give easytether pro a try. Had to switch to T-Mobile for minute to sim unlock a OnePlus 7t pro McLaren. Once I switched back to Verizon prepaid, I noticed I was allowed 50gb of hotspot. Obviously that runs out quick, so I end up using a tethering app/PC client, and my choice is easytether. Is there a USB tethering option in your settings that may need to be turned on? Your new phone may just not be compatible with USB tethering in a official sense. I'd say your best bet is a tethering app
@@00gr1ngo8 okay thank you, I will look into it. And yes, it has tethering as selectability, and it is switched to the on position, but still nothing happens, it's only Wi-Fi hotspot that flows flawlessly.
Not really. I feel it's more necessary to mask your mac address rather that the ip address. If you edit the mac address of your WiFi adapter on your pc to match your phones mac address, then your carrier will think you're using the phone rather than a separate device. It's a little complicated, but there are in depth tutorials on youtube
Not sure how well it works, but don't forget to check the "Hide tethering usage" box in the PdaNet App on the handset. I have found frequently that the proxy needs to be set if a device to connect regardless. Don't forget to toggle the proxy when switching between PdaNet and a landline.
yeah, the proxy will interfere with any other type of connection other than pdanet. honestly though, i just use usb tethering with easytether pro. doesnt drain your battery if you leave it on, and runs in the background on pc without being a resource hog, so anytime you connect your phone to pc, it auto connects to the internet. pdanet is too unstable for me to rely on as a daily driver, and easytether has clients for mac os, windows, and just about every linux distro out there. they even have open-wrt clients for certain routers so you can just plug your phone directly into the router and skip the computer bridge
probably shit service in your area. like at my moms house, she lives in the same county as i do, if i go out for a smoke on the porch, 150 mbps down, once i go inside, around 20. my apartment though is 150 inside, 150 outside. is it that slow everywhere or just when your inside your house?
Make sure the the battery optimization settings aren't applied to the PdaNet app. If they are, it will turn off the app to save battery. Go to your phone settings. Find the settings for all the apps. Go to pdanet and select don't optimize
as long as its being routed through pdanet, connectify, then a router, yes. you cant connect a game console directly to pdanet though without connectify. you could just plug the game console directly into the ethernet of the computer via connectify's wired router option, if you dont need an established wifi connection
@@davon1935 haven't used it in a bit to be honest. Been recovering from surgery at my parents, been using their WiFi. I'll try it out and get back with you. This is great. I can use my phone data for my laptops and my internet car radio. However, I cant get it to connect to my firestick. I installed pdanet on the firestick as well but it always give me a "Connected with problems" message. Any advice?
use pdanet to connect to your pc. then use connectify to route that connection to a wireless router. connect the firestick to the routers connection, not pdanet's. thats what i have to do with my chromecast
Be careful using wifi hotspot mode. Your carrier can & will detect it. The safest mode is USB tether with hide tethering checked. I am using this method as I type this message. Cricket wireless busted me and canceled my phone plan over it. I started a new plan and kept it to USB tether with hide tethering 3 years later it is still going strong. I have a phone connected to a desktop and the desktop sharing to a netgear router.
also, sorry to hear that, bud. i use the VZW unlimited prepaid plan, i never check the "hide tether usage" option, havent had an issue in the last 2 years ive been using this method. for some reason, usb mode on pdanet is around half the speed of the wifi direct, in my case anyway. i use easytether pro if i need to usb tether, because for some reason its just as fast as pdanet's wifi direct. i never use the usb tether option with pdanet
i use at&t, i have hide tethering on, i also set my TTL to 65, using google's dns, and blocking microsoft connections. i use usb for gaming, and wifi for downloading. i've easily consumed terabytes of data in the last few months with no penalty. you just have to have these settings and you'll be fine regardless of what you choose to do, but the most important thing is ttl set to 65, and blocking microsoft connections. if they see incoming traffic from microsoft servers, they'll immediately know what you're doing.
sure does, still use it to this day. got comcast prepaid when i was crypto mining, but now that thats over, dont see much of a point in paying 2 internet bills. all i can say is go with verizon for best results
my plan doesnt include hotspot, since its unlimited prepaid. theres a speed cap of sorts, like i could get 100mbps down on the phone itself, but if i turned on the hotspot through the phone settings and connected another device, it wouldnt even get up to 1mbps. the method in the video is a bypass/loophole, as it allows a hotspot to be made while at the same time being just as fast as the internet on the phone. considering I still use this method for my home internet to this day, sometimes i come pretty close to using a full terabyte of data in a month, with close to 100mbps down the whole time. also, the phone is a OnePlus 6T. still using it daily
you need to have "hide tethering" enabled, and you need to be connected via usb. if you're downloading things, use the wifi setting. but wifi setting is super unstable for gaming, and pdanet will constantly crash and freak out, and disconnect you. usb will not do that. also, change your dns to cloudflare or google, find out what proxy your phone service provicer is on, and set that up as well. if you want to play GTA V online, idk why, but you have to be using pdanet on wifi, and you have to have hide tethering off for gta v, with ipv4 on. wifi and downloading, ipv6. any games besides gta v, hide tethering on, ipv4 or ipv6, cloudflare dns, your phone service' proxy server.
Yeah it works with a PS4 been doing it for years, you need a PC and router just use pdanet tethering and no proxy involved, you can also use FoxFi and run the proxy in your hotspot and PS4 still works. Netflix won't work on proxy either, but you can play online talk in party's and all.
So I live on my boat and the marina internet is super slow and insecure. Would this be possible with an android tablet with a tmobile sim? I have a laptop but could i get connection to my ps4? Good video by the way, your helping a lot of people save some money and headache :)
I swear PDANET and Connectify are like "underground" programs for us who refuse to pay for seperate internet when our phones are more than capabible of getting the job done with the right software Combo.. Connectify has simplified everything I love it!! I've turned alot of people on to PDANet in my circle and they got rid of their internet and just went with an unlimited data plan instead.. It saves in the long run. Plus youll have internet no matter where you go unless no service is available obviously, but I have Verizon which is basically any and everywhere in the country with the exception of a few Rural area in USA.
couldnt have said it better myself. if you havent, check out easytether. having to constantly hae your phone tethered over usb can be a bitch, but its much more stable and full speed without any proxy crap. also, you can leave it active on your phone all the time and theres no battery drain, so as soon as you connect it to your pc, the connection is established. glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for spreading the word. cant say ive convinced anyone to cut the cord in person, only over youtube
@@00gr1ngo8 Yes the USB tether can be a pain, but PDANet solved that problem with Wifi Direct which gives me the same USB speed but my phone is free and it never drops connection like USB does often.. Spoof your mac address on your computers wifi adapter to match your phone. Gotta use the registry, but if you follow the instructions step by step, shouldn't have any issues. There are a thousand videos about how to connect your phone to your computer and then your computer to your Xbox but how about without a computer I think that's what most people were looking for so yeah
My video involves porting the connection through a computer to a router, so anything can connect to it, not just an xbox. There's a reason you landed on this video and not the one you're describing. It's not so simple to do without a pc to bridge the connection. So........yeah
I tried h2o and simple mobile, which are "essentially" at&t and T-Mobile, but for those keeping score, while h2o uses a at&t signal it only works on its APN and speeds are between 5-10mbps... I have got up to 50 Mbps with a simple mobile sim but when I do this process I get results like the part of your video with the dog 💩 speeds... not sure if it's my signal or hardware but for what it's worth I can't use the proxy settings or I lose connection altogether... Also if you want to prevent getting flagged by your carrier, I would suggest spoofing a wireless adapter Mac address (pdanet or easytether) to match that of your phone. That way, the carrier won't be able to differentiate between whether you're using a computer or the phone itself

also where did the proxy come from? is it the same proxy that anyone should use regardless of the service provider? is it specific to verizon or pda net?

Tetrd Is the best option as of 7/28/2022. It’s around $6 and you get your phone’s full internet speed connection. Sometimes you’ll have to disable and re-enable the “Internet Connection Sharing” check box to get it up and running again if you turn off your computer or it glitches during setup.
Instead of connectify can't you use Windows 10 internet sharing?

But new one only works with wifi hotspot (laptop receives phones data through wifi/hotspot, but nothing happens when plug in cord/tethering)
Had both my friends try their phones, and instantly connected with wired tethered, but mine?
Do you feel a VPN is necessary? On the phone that your using for i
Pdanet?
Not really. I feel it's more necessary to mask your mac address rather that the ip address. If you edit the mac address of your WiFi adapter on your pc to match your phones mac address, then your carrier will think you're using the phone rather than a separate device. It's a little complicated, but there are in depth tutorials on youtube
Does it throttle and can put the sim in hotspot router?
Doesn't throttle, but since this method requires the pdanet app and client, it has to be done through the phone itself
Will this work with a chrome book?
The initial tethering should. Not sure if porting the connection to a router would work though

@@00gr1ngo8 ouhh okay... thanks for answering.
The proxy settings made a HUGE difference for me.
Not sure how well it works, but don't forget to check the "Hide tethering usage" box in the PdaNet App on the handset. I have found frequently that the proxy needs to be set if a device to connect regardless. Don't forget to toggle the proxy when switching between PdaNet and a landline.
yeah, the proxy will interfere with any other type of connection other than pdanet. honestly though, i just use usb tethering with easytether pro. doesnt drain your battery if you leave it on, and runs in the background on pc without being a resource hog, so anytime you connect your phone to pc, it auto connects to the internet. pdanet is too unstable for me to rely on as a daily driver, and easytether has clients for mac os, windows, and just about every linux distro out there. they even have open-wrt clients for certain routers so you can just plug your phone directly into the router and skip the computer bridge

did you pay for the full version? because if not, the free version will interupt every 10 minutes
lately ive been having the exact same issues verbatim. it connect for a few minutes, disconnect, reconnect, then time out. i uninstallled then reinstalled the pdanet program on windows, seemed too solve the issue
Does it work on Xbox ?
This is great. I can use my phone data for my laptops and my internet car radio. However, I cant get it to connect to my firestick. I installed pdanet on the firestick as well but it always give me a "Connected with problems" message. Any advice?
use pdanet to connect to your pc. then use connectify to route that connection to a wireless router. connect the firestick to the routers connection, not pdanet's. thats what i have to do with my chromecast
Is this still working brother? Windows 11?
Be careful using wifi hotspot mode. Your carrier can & will detect it. The safest mode is USB tether with hide tethering checked. I am using this method as I type this message. Cricket wireless busted me and canceled my phone plan over it. I started a new plan and kept it to USB tether with hide tethering 3 years later it is still going strong. I have a phone connected to a desktop and the desktop sharing to a netgear router.
There's a hide from carrier option in pdanet
@@00gr1ngo8 My pdanet has a hide tether option that only works on USB. Where is there a hide carrier option?
@@VernieB14 the hide tether option works for both usb and wifi direct as far as i know
also, sorry to hear that, bud. i use the VZW unlimited prepaid plan, i never check the "hide tether usage" option, havent had an issue in the last 2 years ive been using this method. for some reason, usb mode on pdanet is around half the speed of the wifi direct, in my case anyway. i use easytether pro if i need to usb tether, because for some reason its just as fast as pdanet's wifi direct. i never use the usb tether option with pdanet
i use at&t, i have hide tethering on, i also set my TTL to 65, using google's dns, and blocking microsoft connections.
i use usb for gaming, and wifi for downloading.
i've easily consumed terabytes of data in the last few months with no penalty.
you just have to have these settings and you'll be fine regardless of what you choose to do, but the most important thing is ttl set to 65, and blocking microsoft connections.
if they see incoming traffic from microsoft servers, they'll immediately know what you're doing.
Does this stil work?
sure does, still use it to this day. got comcast prepaid when i was crypto mining, but now that thats over, dont see much of a point in paying 2 internet bills. all i can say is go with verizon for best results
@@00gr1ngo8 thanks for letting me know I hope to have this hooked up soon.
Bro does your plan have hotspot data? And also what phone do you have?
my plan doesnt include hotspot, since its unlimited prepaid. theres a speed cap of sorts, like i could get 100mbps down on the phone itself, but if i turned on the hotspot through the phone settings and connected another device, it wouldnt even get up to 1mbps. the method in the video is a bypass/loophole, as it allows a hotspot to be made while at the same time being just as fast as the internet on the phone. considering I still use this method for my home internet to this day, sometimes i come pretty close to using a full terabyte of data in a month, with close to 100mbps down the whole time.
also, the phone is a OnePlus 6T. still using it daily
i can't play R6 Siege on my pc?
You might not have a consistent connection. Set everything that has to do with pdanet connection as highest priority so you don't get disconnected
you need to have "hide tethering" enabled, and you need to be connected via usb. if you're downloading things, use the wifi setting. but wifi setting is super unstable for gaming, and pdanet will constantly crash and freak out, and disconnect you. usb will not do that. also, change your dns to cloudflare or google, find out what proxy your phone service provicer is on, and set that up as well. if you want to play GTA V online, idk why, but you have to be using pdanet on wifi, and you have to have hide tethering off for gta v, with ipv4 on. wifi and downloading, ipv6. any games besides gta v, hide tethering on, ipv4 or ipv6, cloudflare dns, your phone service' proxy server.
and you also need to set your TTL to 65.
@@largepoodle6036 oh nevermind, didnt see the other comments. thanks for posting this, man. wasnt aware of any of this
Will it work on tablet
yeah
Does this work with ps4
Unfortunately, no. Tried it myself with proxy settings, doesn't work. Have yet to try it on pc
Try turning the proxy off. I know I said to keep it on, but lately it works better without. Chromecast works without a hitch, PS4 should too
By turning the proxy off, I meant on the host pc that's routing the internet connection
Hv u try i?Is it works?
Yeah it works with a PS4 been doing it for years, you need a PC and router just use pdanet tethering and no proxy involved, you can also use FoxFi and run the proxy in your hotspot and PS4 still works. Netflix won't work on proxy either, but you can play online talk in party's and all.
does this still work ?
Yeah it does
So I live on my boat and the marina internet is super slow and insecure. Would this be possible with an android tablet with a tmobile sim? I have a laptop but could i get connection to my ps4? Good video by the way, your helping a lot of people save some money and headache :)
id imagine it should work, especially considering the tablet is android rather than apple
And thanks for the positive response. I appreciate it
It would not work until I changed the proxy settings. Before I was getting "No Internet, secured". Now I get my regular phone speed.
Is the download safe on windows
It is
I'm not even getting those speeds
I don't either if I leave my county. Guess the high taxes are going to something worthwhile
Make sure to update the PDANET Software from time to time the new version for windows is even BETTER!! I can do WiFI Direct, USB Tether, Bluetooth. I like to use Ethernet for my TV when I'm streaming in 4K / 1080p its a smooth stable connection. Thankyou for sharing connectify you helped alot man!!!
@@Deklectic no problem, glad to help
thank you man, its works, hopefully my network will not find out =), thanks again
Spoof your mac address on your computers wifi adapter to match your phone. Gotta use the registry, but if you follow the instructions step by step, shouldn't have any issues. I've made it up to around 850gb of data in a month, no cap, no speed reduction, got away scott free. I suggest easytether pro if you have stability issue and disconnects. I use easytether pro for now. Usb tethering only, but speeds are equivalent to the phone, rather than reduced the way pdanet does things
Wow you are really amazing.thank you so much .
no problem. id replace the pdanet app method with easytether pro, just so theres no interference related to incompatible proxy settings
First few days were fine. Now it never even connects to my other phone...
give easytether pro a try. you can find cracked apk's online
I have a vid on the process
can this be used to connect to a ROKU TV?
Yeah, it should work. My Chromecast does at least
Thank you bro I when up 15 Mbps. Dope!! I'm sub'in 💪
There are a thousand videos about how to connect your phone to your computer and then your computer to your Xbox but how about without a computer I think that's what most people were looking for so yeah
My video involves porting the connection through a computer to a router, so anything can connect to it, not just an xbox. There's a reason you landed on this video and not the one you're describing. It's not so simple to do without a pc to bridge the connection. So........yeah
omg this is amazing!
@Hassan Mohammed 🤡🤡🤡🤡
@Gustavo Andrew 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
better than havin no interwebs
Working...speeds are dog💩, now what 🤦
What's your carrier?
I tried h2o and simple mobile, which are "essentially" at&t and T-Mobile, but for those keeping score, while h2o uses a at&t signal it only works on its APN and speeds are between 5-10mbps... I have got up to 50 Mbps with a simple mobile sim but when I do this process I get results like the part of your video with the dog 💩 speeds... not sure if it's my signal or hardware but for what it's worth I can't use the proxy settings or I lose connection altogether... I'm determined to beat these fahqers!!!😭
@@realliveboss5381 lol don't even bother with the proxy, I don't use it anymore these days. Between you and me, a cracked apk of easytether pro is what I use, granted it's only usb, but it's the fastest and most reliable option
BRUHHH BUT MY COMPUTER GOT NO INTERNET RN
So I can instal the pda thing
Can't
Download it on your phone, transfer to pc via usb
Honestly I've been using easytether pro lately. It's usb only, but the internet being tethered is just as fast as your phone and it's more stable
How
U the man!!!!! That's awesome thanks bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
You can get pdanet free.. look for the apk online
Fully licensed as well? Typically I'd go for the free apk any day of the week, but considering how much I use it, and how much money it saves me, supporting the developer is totally worth it
@@00gr1ngo8 exactly and stealing it means they won't update it like they haven't in years
yeah, I wouldn't do that if I were you. those "free" apk's come with a catch. they're infected with malware.
go download the apk again, and upload it to virustotal lol. you played yourself you cheap fuck
@@largepoodle6036 love this reply
@@largepoodle6036 although I will admit that I go the cracked apk route occasionally, especially with something like easy tether pro. I'll recommend grabbing the cracked APK if someone has already paid for PdaNet and finds that it isn't working. I do always advocate for paying for the APK once you know the cracked edition is effective
Complex
Saves whatever a comcast bill would cost though. I've been thinking of making a revised, simpler version, I would just need an actual camera so I can film what's going on with the phone
Lol dude windows has a hotspot share setting already lol
correct, but you cant connect to a virtual wireless hotspot (like pdanet) and create a hotspot from windows at the same time. it would work if you were to usb tether first, then use windows to create the hotspot
👌👌🤛🤛🤛🤛💪💪💪💪🔥🔥
Genius!💯
