Thanx for Heart & recorders & traders ! Source of my version is bootleg DVD from DIME. (sorry my english) Quality of video source is average, fortunately sound quality is above average - but unbalanced.
Video DHV balance: enhanced colours and dark-light range wide.
Audio DHV balance: better drums and high-vocal.
NO WONDER - source is VHS quality.
AND THEN ONE LITTLE WONDER:
- Human eye from far away not eagle eye and more colours and more dark and more lights.
- If you sit in dark room 2-3 meter from fullscreened HD resolution monitor - visuality is very better!
I don't think Howard Leese gets near enough credit for being a rock for Heart and his incredible guitar skills as well as Keyboard. He was a big part of Heart for a lot of years.
I always considered Heart a three piece.
Howard did a lot of the behind the scenes stuff for Heart even back in the early days working on the arrangements which is why he was hired away from his recording studio job to join them with a lot of convincing.
I feel the same way and have even told him that in person
@@travstravelchannel3196 really what did he say
J Alan. Definitely agree with that. He filled all and any empty spots.
No AUTOTUNE required!!! REAL Rockstars!!!! So refreshing even w the "80's-90's glitz" The cream always rises, especially LIVE!!!!!
Except for the canned background vocals on the opening song “Wild Child”.
Lots of bands have a pre-recorded intro for a gig
Holy Moses...1 hour and 45 minutes of fantastic vocals , not one single note out of tune , unbelievable what a voice!!!
I don't know about one single note not being out of key. They are fantastic singers and I love Ann and Nancy. These dreams is a beautiful song Simply gorgeous and hold the special place in my heart
tell that to the nowadays singers that couldn't sing without Auto Tunes
Typical Heat show even in 2022
Absolute perfection, the both of them and the band too! This is one of my favorite shows and I watch it often! Ann’s voice is jut incredible!! 🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥
It's amazing how great Nancy and Ann sound live....just like the recordings. People of the 2000's...this is called singing and not lip syncing bullshit. REAL music !!!! I can say I grew up in this time...the greatest time for music ever !!!
Yep I always say that that her voice live sounds just like her recordings. As a matter of fact, I was listening to both live and the recording of Under the Sky earlier. It’s one of my favorite songs lately. Unbelievable. ❤❤🔥❤️❤️
Nancy Wilson is a very underrated singer, and guitarist. Quietly, she went about her amazing career as the second best singer and guitarist in one of the best bands in rock and roll. That takes some incredible humility, when she could have easily ventured out on her own. I would imagine the Wilson sisters are the products of very good parenting.
I think stranded and these dreams rank right up there in the Heart catalogue These songs and others prove Nancy was a fabulous singer like her sister. Anne's voice is spell binding, but it's the beautiful harmonies of Nancy and Howard Leese that make it Heart .One of my favorite bands of all time
@@loveistheanswer8137 Have to agree that with you, this is exactly why Heart is popular and well-appreciated by fans that understand what rock music is all about. Fine that we heard them on the radio and in bars during the last decades of 20th century. What a pleasure to watch this band. A gift.
Ann has the best rocker voice, so resonant, rich and distinct. Her head voice growls are superb.
Vocals so on point it's sounds like a choir of Angels....they always brought it live.
I like❤heart twin guitar
Same time just like V halen. w ash 😮😮Nancy's guitar
work there precious!
this is end!
see you again some day😊
Howard leese is a boss. Even the former members have mentioned in several interviews that he is the most humble, wonderful musician.
Yes, Howard Leese. He is Heart, too. He' s such a great musician.
Her voice is so crisp clear and incredibly powerful, AND ON PERFECT PITCH. Wonderful!
When ya got it, ya got it and Ann Wilson’s got it!!
Brigade was a terrific album
Was the best!!
That and their 80's comeback catalog definitely their most rockin sound.
Brigade will always have a special place in my Heart (pun intended😅), but it is true though, I remember as a 9 year old, my mum and dad played this on repeat in the car, esp when driving for our summer holidays and their songs and especially Ann's vocals captivated me. One of my favorite albums ever. Loved Heart and Bad Animals too, but Brigade is more memorable...and can I just say...Ann Wilson is THE best rock vocalist ever, bar none, the Power and melody is just mindblowing!!
Love this album and love this show! Love Nancy’s dancing too❤
Lol her dancing is so dorky I just love her
@@tudorhistoryguy Indeed! Me too!! ❤️
Phenomenal live in concert!!!
Every song, amazing. Ann was at the top of her game!
saw this tour.....I remember them sounding amazing....one of the best sounding shows I've ever heard.
Me too..Outrageous tour! Bad Animals too was just as phenomenal!.... Going to see Ann next month. I'm hoping she does all the greats. I can't wait, only a few rows back on the floor...So psyched!🎶🤗🎶
"How Can I Refuse" is one of my very favorite songs by Heart and I wish they would throw this gem back in their lineup when they tour.
@Fred Jaminson
Tf does you being old as hell have to do with anything. The point is that it's a great song that's underappreciated
You and your comment are crusty 😂
@Fred Jaminson
So you're old and only like the hits
Crusty, tasteless and shallow lmfaoo
@Fred Jaminson
There's people who love the stuff that just dropped off the radar, you apparently liked the stuff that was on the radio, well there's way more to heart than the singles and Passionworks is a solid album imo
@Fred Jaminson
....What? Heart went hardcore mainstream in the mid 80s to early 90s. Their biggest stuff came from when their label dropped them and they were picked up by capitol records on the premise that they go full 80s, Alone, What About Love, yeah it was sellout material, but that's when heart was dominating the industry, it wasn't _Heart_ but they were much larger than they had ever been.
Yeah, it sounds like you only liked the hits and look down at the more obscure heart cause it wasn't topping the charts, sorry to hear that. Good music isn't determined by its spot on the top 10
@Fred Jaminson I love those songs too, I love a lot of the newer stuff as well. Check out everything from Jupiter's darling on
I saw them on this tour and yes I prefer 70’s Heart but I shit my pants when I heard Ann sing What About Love and Alone live. Even as a teenager I knew what I was hearing was magic.❤️
Ann is a legendary singer...Nancy also sounds incredible live
Nancy is adorable singing these dreams with no guitar
i had never seen Nancy on keyboards before. she is a Goddess
I love how consistent their music is. Sounds perfect every time.
Both sisters sing like angel’s. Amazing❤️
I miss this era of Heart. Brigade was an amazing album regardless of who wrote the songs. Heart performed them brilliantly. I miss bands and rock shows.
@Black Buick maybe next Brigade album was the latest great Heart album (Desire walks on).
@Black Buick just because the radio isn't playing the new stuff doesn't mean it's not good music!! Same thing could be said about Cheap Trick ( my favorite band btw..) everything CT has put out since self titled 97 is INCREDIBLE
@@jvalenzoful great album!
In1990 I was only a child, so I couldn't see how great Heart was. Now, I see no other band can cover this performance.
In late 1970s Heart was beautiful and wonderful.Again in 1990 the Wilsons surprised me tremenndously.Heart remains its name forever in the history of rock music.I love Heart.
Well, I just saw them last week, and they are as good as ever!
We all know how good was Denny Carmassi on drums, but listening all this songs live, especially Straight on, you realize that Mark Andes was an AMAZING bass player.
Ok
no lip syncing there! amazing voice
Scorching version of "If looks could kill". Absolutely fantastic. Ann and Nancy (and the rest of the band) nail it!
Nancy's voice! Oh lord! I love Ann too, but Nancy! Underrated.
I was at this actual concert, back in the day. Seeing Heart live was incredible. Not only were they amazing musicians, but they also put on a proper rock show. True entertainers. Denny Carmassi was a huge influence on my drumming career-from Montrose, to Sammy Hagar, Gamma, and of course, Heart.
Was at this concert. They rocked that night. Ann vocals were amazing and Nancy was breathtaking.
Wow. After singing for an hour and a half Ann can still belt out "Falling From Grace". Pure power and pitch perfect.
Wow so powerful
And do it while weighing 230 pounds wearing a British officers uniform
One of the greatest female rock singers of all time.....no doubt!!
One of? Name someone better… I’ll wait…
I agree with you 💯 %!!!!! I love Ann Wilson!!!!❤❤
@@crusheverything4449Grace slick was the best up to the 1970s then Ann Wilson took over once the 1980s came
@@davindampen - Ann took over in 1976.
For me she is THE greatest rock singer, regardless of gender!! She is a true one off
I went to this show, summer of 1990 in Atlanta, GA. Loved IT!!!!!
I saw this show. It was really good. The chemistry was awesome. I loved the old and new. This era was really special. Takes me right back emotionally. Wish i could go back in time and see this show.
Brigade....i love this album, amazing
Actually, while the production and arrangements were more like Heart than Bad Animals, the Wilsons only wrote 4 out of 13 songs! You can really tell, especially lyrically. Ann's words are so much more poetic.
I discover whit 12 years This Band….hére in Spain ,i buy no shop BRIGADE cassete….omg ❤️🙏🏼
I absolutely love ❤️ Heart! An incredible Band. I was lucky enough to see them in 1983 ! At the Milton Keynes Bowl 👌
Absolute clinic of vocal power from Ann. Voice for the ages, very honored to have been around to enjoy their career.
Call of the wild! Jesus, what a fucking heavy song! Brigade is so underrated album.
Nancy and her guitar on Crazy On You kills me every time!
She's great. This is a good performance, but it totally pales in comparison to the Heart concerts on the 70s. One of their concerts from 1978 in Largo is on RUclips -- it's great. They were truly a hard rock band back then and their ballads were just awesome; much better than the hair metal and power ballads in this video.
I have been HOOKED, from the 80's, 90's, 2000's, 2010 and now! pure talent!!
Never have before and never will again here vocals and guitar like these two. Plain and simple truth.
just replay it.
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such an inspirational history of the WILSON sisters , no wonder they are rock GODDESSES , stars that are in the rock n roll Hall of Fame . Long live Rock n Roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long live Heart !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw them twice on the "Heart" tour, twice on the "Bad Animals" tour & twice on the
Brigade" tour!! Love these ladies!!
Only just come across this. Wow. Excellent performances all round. Ann Wilson has to be THE best female rock vocalist in the business. The speed they're playing some of this stuff is just amazing. Never heard them rip through tracks like this before.
I want this on dvd! Absolute perfect setlist.
Oh, and also I've seen them in concert 12 times throughout 1st to last cds. And they are gorgeous, but they are even more so when they "dress themselves" and put their own makeup on. Simply Perfection
You sound like a stalker.
Yup. They looked like complete rock stars not underground music artists.
People should just appreciate that she a good person and a very good singer at her age. Who cares about her weight unless it's her , her family or Doctor.
Here's the thing about her weight to ME,.She has the greatest vocal quality of any woman I have ever heard,.But when she was thinner and I watched her it was the TOTAL PACKAGE,.I mean she would just suck you into a mystical trance of sorts because her beauty plus her vocals were just intoxicating,.That's THE DEAL on ALL of that CRAP,. But I still love that woman's soul regardless
@@Paulmatthew22 the media was rigged even in 1990 they were going to take heart down and they did it by focusing on ann's weight while sociopathic hags like shitney houston or madonna were never honestly critiqued for anything.
I do.
Hearts Dog and Butterfly tour was my first concert in fall of '78,5th row seats and tickets were $8.50! I've seen Heart close to 30 times and I remember about half of it,it was always a good time!💓💙💚💛💜👍
Vocals flawless, holy shit
Omgoddess. Ann and her beautiful fierce voice
Ann Wilson is so gorgeous!! There's something about her that makes my heart do flip-flops!! I love you, Ann!!! You're the best!!💜
Same! I have such a huuuuge crush on Ann. She's so gorgeous and beautiful and sexy and that voice!!! Her talking voice too is 🔥 i love her so much 😍❤️
I’m with you lads
Shoulda seen her in 1979... oh man...
Been a heart fan since 1977. Love these ladies!!!
this is Brigade,s 25TH Anniversary!!! i was at this concert at Kingswood (Wonderland Toronto Canada) out doors on a hill on a warm summers night i will never forget it...it was awesome!!! probably smoked a half ounce of premo hash that night!! i have seen Heart every time they have came to the Toronto area since then. hands down this was the best i have ever seen them,,, that night, was magic!!!! i am such a huge Heart fan, that when there personal items came up for auction (Julien,s Auctions 2014) i was lucky enough to have the winning bid on Nancy,s own personal double platinum award for"Brigade" something to remember that magical night!!! HEART LIVES FOREVER!!!
I would pay to see this set today!
Heart still tours and Ann's voice is as good today as it was then. She is absolutely phenomenal.
+Boomer S. Uner true, but they don't play many of the 80's songs live any longer.
The 80s songs are the weakest in their catalog for the most part. Too much pop and not enough hard rock.
BBrown M1967 Wtf Heart was never “hard rock” nerd. The early stuff isn’t hard rock.
@@BBrownM Wtf they had many ballads in 70s as well as 80s but 80s consisted of power ballads other hard rockers did in that era.
People don't give Nancy enough vocal credit.
Well..It's pretty good,.But always remember that NO Ann..NO Heart,.That just a fact
@@Paulmatthew22
No. Ann alone is not Heart.
It is these 2 women together, and their incredible talents, that make Heart so memorable.
She gets plenty of credit on that guitar.
I disagree, Ann. Gets pushed to the back because of her weight( even though she is beautiful). Its always about Nancy.
However...Nancy is a brilliant guitar player and singer.
@Victor R. , Dude, I love both of them. Nancy sounded horrible on this. Truth!
Nancy doesn't have the category Ann does.
The main reason Ann sounds so good live is because not only is she gifted but she would go into the studio and sing a song straight through 3 or 4 times and was done. That is why she can sound the same live as on the recordings.
A true masterclass in live performance!
The quality in the vocals is outstanding...
Dare I say that the songs have even more impact live than in the studio?? Phenomenal...
You are watching Rock Royalty✌️😁
I used to love listening to "How Can I Refuse You"' "Never", "Under The Sky" and "Who Do You Run To" back while in school.
This is one of my favorite concerts. I love love this show and I watch it often. My favorites are, how can I refuse you, fallen from grace, the night, ETC ❤😘❤️
Happy Birthday Nancy ❤️❤️❤️ 67
Heart is one of the giants of Rock. They're right up there with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple etc.
The voices in "I did'nt want to need you" are perfect! Amazing!...
Nancy is flawless. Heart will Always be awesome.
This is the set that we were expecting in 1994 when they payed a visit to Mexico city but their show was only acoustic... this video is pure gold!
The Wilson Sisters always kill it 🤘
what a women they are Ann and Nancy. I´ve never seen as much talent as this before.
The ladies are looking good , songs and vocals top notch, and band sounds great here
Howard is on here too, spot on.
this has one of the best kick ass versions of 'Crazy on You' that I've ever heard.
most definitely!
Totally Agree....they're awesome. A. Wilson is incredible
I'd say this is inferior to only this: ruclips.net/video/whXeb7Ohfkk/видео.html
This is still one of my favorite concerts!!! The song choices, the vocals and the music are completely flawless and outstanding!! And I love their outfits!! Perfection at its finest!! ❤❤❤😘❤️❤️❤
I have a lot of years searching for Brigade live videos and nothing!!! Thank You!!! For me, this is the best era of Heart and this is the best album!!! 1990, no Digital cameras, no HD, no DTS, no digital multi channel audio and I enjoy this video like no one else.
Not much live concert video during this period, mainly because of Heart's management trying to hide Ann's weight.
This time was singers true... Only voice, no program corretors in studio
@HuskyBoomer And heres me thinking that music was about about talent and not image. Sadly thats what record companies were more intrested in back then. Ann Wilson is without doubt one of the greatest singers ever. And to the record company bosses that were around back then ...there's nothing wrong with Ann Wilson!!!
What wonderful band,amazing!!!
Belting out perfection for 2hrs. Amazing 👏
Ann Wilson is the most powerfull voice female of rock
Это точно!)
Ever.
She and Robin Beck!
And Tina Turner 🧐
For me Janis Joplin is better
Awesome!! Great Band!! Tight!! Not a bad note in the whole set👍🎶🎸💝
Thank YOU for capturing and posting this concert. This was the best of Heart and their band members (Howard, Mark and Denni)! Warm regards!
Awesome concert! Greatness, all of it!!!
Heather and Jeff Wilson, this was their music! Unfortunately Jeff took his life in 2006 depression is a very serious illness and combined buy alcohol, ends up in tragedy! And if it wasn't for Heart I couldn't have made it through this! Thank you girls for being great artists! And your music to help me get through hard times, and Good times! I can't hardly believe it , it's 2024 and you girls are still rocking! Howard leese is an excellent guitar player, and deserves more credit than he gets! I've seen him play with Paul Rodgers and he can play the s*** out of the freaking guitar! The band sounds great! Keep on rockin in the Free world??? 💗🙏💗🎶🌍✌️💯👍😇. ❤❤❤😊
One, if not the best album ever! Never knew just how talented they truly were till now!
This setlist is amazing, Heart rocks :)
one of my classic favorite band !
Number 1 female guitarist ever . Nancy oh Nancy
I have every song they have ever done and they are the all time favorites for women bands!!! You go girl (Nancy )
32:46 I LOVE Nancy's excitement
Saw this tour in vancouver and it was incredible. Hard to describe how loud and good it was. Best vocal performance I've ever heard. And I'm a member of the Canadian music hall of fame.
After extensive research we have determined that Barracuda is the best song ever written in the history of humankind.
I think they were trying to keep up with the heavier years of their peers and did a great job of it. Unfortunately, the record label didnt back as many of the tunes off of this album because no one was happy with Annies weight problems. Sad part is that who really gave a damn when it came to the fans. This is one of their best works to date.
John Westbury Ann detests being called Annie, just FYI.
The worst song on this album was the big hit which just proves that record labels don't care about anything other than money. Save for that one song the rest of the album was really good. Wild Child, The Night, Tall Dark Handsome Stranger, Fallen From Grace were all great tunes but you had to listen to Album Rock stations to hear the good songs; the record company only released power ballads as singles and hurt their rock credibility. With the exception of "Alone" Ann has always been much better as a hard rock vocalist than on the ballads, especially all that hair metal ballad crap. If they had decent promoters at Capitol they could had success with both their heavier stuff and the ballads instead of getting pigeonholed. And if Capitol and their management had allowed Ann to evolve on their videos instead of trying to cover everything up it wouldn't have been such a shock when people finally saw her at her heaviest. But Capitol only wanted to milk as much money out of them as they could and that's exactly what they did.
It's sad that people where giving Ann a bad time over her weight me, I couldn't give a rats arse about her weight she's one awesome artist and in a league all by herself
To many people BULLY people over their weight and that's what is the saddest thing of all making people feel bad for no good reason
Howard lease is a very good guitar player and I know for a fact he is I enjoy watching him play guitar as well as the ladies how about Mark Andes and Danny he himself is a very awesome drummer I think they all deserve a lot of credit I've been a fan since I was 5 years old.
Ditto that Don,, the other members deserve credit - ""Fab band"-heartRules
I was there!! Heart at their best!
You are lucky.
My first concert was Heart on the Brigade tour! Thanks so much for sharing this.
And lately, I am obsessed with “Under The Sky” ❤🔥❤️ PS, I still love this show!! 🔥
the band sounds fantastic .... love it
The best ever heart line up they rocked
Straight-Up bad ass !
I was there ..What a magical night it was
Saw them on this Tour at the NEC in Birmingham...they were just sublime.
2022 still here.. Love hearth💕💋😍
I still love to watch Nancy steping with guitar.
Brilliant. I was at this outdoor show at this Shoreline Amphitheater. So cool to see it. Loved it then and love it now. Looks like the video feed from the venue. Thanks for posting!!!!!
I'd love to learn more about Howie. He stayed for years, through the good and bad. I imagine he's a pretty nice guy, and good friend.
When asked about whether he once had intimate relationship with either sisters he answered 'I'm Howard the professional'.
