The door sensors not making a ding when they're opened is a huge oversight by wyze! That's standard in EVERY alarm!

Thank you! I was going nuts hearing the alarm go off every time I armed the system. I had no idea I just had to set the exit delay to 0 seconds to stop it

I have an extra two doors in my house and a two car garage, I purchased an extra six door sensors and a extra motion sensor. Now I have installed a door sensor on each of my garage doors on a door hinge. They work great so I can be reminded if I left my garage door up when I leave the house. The version 1 sense was crap. Once the battery died, they became useless. I changed the battery in them, but most of them failed.
That's honestly a great idea, I need to do that as well. I had bought a smart garage door opener but ran into issues with it and could not get it to work correctly with my garage opener.
@@BigCVlogs Living out in the country, I’m always worried that I left my garage door up when I leave. (And I have). Now I can just look at the app and tell if it’s up or down. I can have Alexa alert me if it stays up too long. I have been waiting for these things ever since I was told by Wyze support they where reworking them. Maybe they will make a automatic connection to raise my garage door. I do have an outside wireless opener.
How did you just magically skip to creating a pin?
They might have changed the setup by now, but I feel like that was one of the first steps. I just jumped it to now show the pin i used lol.

Currently the only way to buy it is with the monthly or yearly subscription. They may remove that soon, but currently that's the only way.
can u schedule arm & disarm routine on the app? i don’t like the cheap system i got & am abt to order this, help a brotha out.
Yes you can. From the app or the keypad. I use the app most of the time because I'll forget to arm it when I'm downstairs near the keypad lol.
Wyze is 99 bucks a year now I think.
Can you arm or disarm the system outside the home from your app?
Yes, you can. From within the Wyze Home app you can control everything.

I have an issue where my roomba is triggering the motion sensors... it’s a different system.... I wonder wyze sensors won’t detect it
I wish I would of thought to test that. Since the sensors do not catch our dog, I doubt it would catch a Roomba though. Since the dog is bigger.

so u can’t open or lock alarm when ur outside…
You can from the wyze app. You can enable or disable the alarm from the app.

Did you ever figure out about the cameras? I am looking at leaving brinks and was going to get simplisafe but then realized the bad ratings. Can your cameras still be used for regular? Are they included in the 60 dollars?
I would go with SimpliSafe still I have their system and it’s a really good system

Yeah you can. I think you have to buy it with a 1 month subscription, and then just cancel the subscription after that. I think that is what others have did.
