    Hey Mr.Garcia,how would you compare the intensity of the mayday dogs to that of the bullyson blood?

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +1

      I saw some Mayday dogs but the ones I saw weren't intense that way. If they are intense I would think they got that from the Bolio and Red Boy blood in them and in that respect they would be just as intense as a Bullyson dog. Scream in the corner. Jeep dogs are like that too.

    Schoolboy, my buddy had one dog in the late seventies, who had tiny teeth..Not small teeth, but a little wider than a pups..
    Now, it didn't stop him from biting hard..But, it was the oddest thing.
    Hadn't seen it since....

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +1

      There's been many cases where the size of the teeth didn't matter. In fact some dogs with big long teeth didn't bite hard at all. In this case it's the teeth breaking that's the problem.

    • @vernonstarr9288
      @vernonstarr9288 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@richardgarciaschoolboy7746That I have seen, but those tiny teeth were different.. lol
      The good thing about the dog was that he never got fanged.. We use to give his owner a hard time about his teeth, of course that started something else.. lol

    Mr Garcia if gameness was the one and only trait all dogs everywhere ever got bred for.Do you think they would all look the same structurally and in coat type/color/pattern? Would it be one, a few or all possible combinations of confirmation and coat type?

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +1

      No they wouldn't all look the same because there's physical traits as well as mental ones that contribute to gameness and ability and athleticism and different structures are part of it too. It's the same with boxers or MMA fighters. Lots of different sizes and builds and weight divisions.

    Hello mr Carcia
    Do the hereditary traits weaken? as the generations??
    You would like to retain the characteristics of a third generation of a proven dog for your pup.
    What is the chance of those specific qualities, especially if the generation in between have no longer proven themselves?

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hello. You can preserve traits by breeding the individuals that retain them and are able to pass them on to their offspring and progeny but you have to see the traits to know which dogs have them. If the dogs no longer prove themselves then you lessen the chance of the traits being preserved.

    • @PaulDendulk-xh9vs
      @PaulDendulk-xh9vs 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Thank you for your explanation, it seems indeed logical to me that the further from the source, the weaker the traids can become.
      But nowadays you can no longer 'really' test the triads of the intermediate generations, to test whether they have specific triads
      The only way you can test it is with the qualities of a "sporting dog"??

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +1

      @PaulDendulk-xh9vs That's true that it's hard to test in today's times but you can check physical traits,structure prey drive,behavior,temperament and other things. There are legal sports and hunting. They will give you some measure of the quality of the individual.

    Mr. Garcia, have you ever seen a solid stud dog that will produce really good offspring but his offspring constantly will lose their hangers on hunts?

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +6

      Not any that I could think of. Weak teeth is a genetic or health/constitution/nutrition issue.

      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +2

      As I mentioned they feel the pain but as long as they get mad and intense and want to finish then that's good enough for me. Whether you breed a dog like that is up to the person.

    • @richardgarciaschoolboy7746
      @richardgarciaschoolboy7746  11 месяцев назад +8

      In my time some people insisted on it some didn't so I could take it or leave it. If someone insisted on it I agreed. If they didn't I agreed. The rules don't call for it unless no turn has been made and there's an out of hold. If the first dog up to scratch from an out of hold fails to do so then the opponent has to scratch to win. All rules should be agreed to before the show by both parties as well as any changes to the rules.
