Pretty cool but would have been better to see stock shafts with your head vs a few different upgraded shafts to see the performance difference with your swing.
Good to see you were fit in the right specs, must be excited to know you have 10-15 more yards in the bag, What does a session like that cost? That cannot be cheap!
One thing that I didn't see mentioned, I was playing a 10 year old Tour driver with a 430cc head. This year, I picked up a Callaway Rogue ST Max LS with the 460cc for a bit more forgiveness. It played well, but my swing speed dropped a couple MPH. A few weeks ago, I found the Callaway Rogue ST 💎 💎 💎 S with the 440cc head and picked that speed back up.
Love it. I picked up my swing speed from 92 to 98mph, which resulted in more spin in my driver. I now have an 11 degree PXG 0311 gen 5 with 2.5gr of weight in the heel and toe and 5gr in the back. Giving me 14 degree launch and 2500rpm back spin, from 17 and 3200rpm. Resulting in 220-240 carry and 240-260 roll out (depending on conditions), an increase of 20 yards. My swing path is still somewhat out to in (0.5-2•), but we have all winter to work on that. More importantly, I’m now hitting 78% fairways, from 64% fairways. Hopefully we’ll get to 85% fairways next summer. I work with the Garmin R10 mainly, taking it on course, using my gaming ball, as the driving ranges here in the Netherlands almost all use mats and range balls, which can really mess up these numbers (though not as much with driver).
As a 25 handicapper I need this type of fitting. How much to rent it? MSG, how about a raffle for this experience? Lesson? Nahhhh new driver that'll get me scratch by next year
WOW Matt, just wow!!! How incredible is that robot and the engineering to manufacture it? Great content/information as always👍 Now do it again with the Elite 😉
Interesting video MSG but I may have missed the point in that the robot merely confirmed your driver fitting was correct. When I had my driver fitting a trackman was used and I tested different heads and shafts.
This was an excellent resource to confirm the need for an expert fitting. Yes, as Callaway is “sort of” sponsoring this, it is a valuable tool for you BUT, would you have been offered other manufacturers if there were other options?
Hey there Matt! What happened to the club visit video at the Olympic club? I wanted to watch that as I played yesterday (79 woohoo) and wanted some inside course info. Love your channel buddy.

What about testing different shafts? As we all know hit it square in the center and you will maximize distance.
I want a robot now
Here I am, thinking my remote control cart is cool. Not so…
Kilroy.
One of the most informative videos for understanding driver fitting!

Awesome! This seems as detailed as looking for gnat crap in a bowl of black pepper. Love it! Thanks Matt!

This is genius! So happy that you got to do this, MSG!
I seen 3 out of 5 fade arguably slice not draw
I want that robot. It can tee off for me every round 😂 Great video
upcoming video how to hit it on the centerface better!
Hey, do you have any experience with "Newton" shafts for drivers? Do they really make a difference?
Good stuff Matt 🏌️♂️
Great content!
shorten the shaft a little to hit the screws
Great informative video ❤
Very cool!
Club fitting is the only way to buy golf clubs. Excellent video Matt.
Interesting. Does this robot test all clubs. Wedges , woods, and irons?
As an athletic nerd and strength coach/biomechanics guy, this was excellent.
Ok, get me hooked up and scheduled lol

This video is frickin cool.
Mr Short game always love the videos! Good stuff🏌🏿♂️
At 3:18 the whole unit moves during the swing....that cannot be good, can it???

I would end up with 4 heads with 5 swings. 😂
You can do it short game. Hit it on the screws!

Putting the robot on my Christmas list. I just need to figure out cost and the logistics of getting it from tee box to tee box. :)
This would be great if I were a robot
Club fitting, full set of clubs! Playing better yes, worth it? not for me.
Maybe you should test different shaft lengths to optimize more center hits. Really enjoy your content.
3 wood shaft on a heavier Mizuno 220z head is money for me.
Funny that the robot was hitting a fade with “your swing.”
It is crazy how far our tech has come that the robot can so easily replicate our average shots!
Need this - get tired after 8-10 swings so the fitting stops being helpful
I think this means that it's a better idea to spend your discretionary golf $$$ on lessons than on equipment.
Sadly, none of this applies to me as I struggle to make any kind of decent contact. 🙂
If that was me, he would program the robot to slice and top the ball.
How beyond stupid, God gave us the 5 senses to find a stix. But, making it more complicated makes for more money expended. Nice
Mr. Shortgame, more like Mr. Slowswing, you can do better than 103 big guy.

How about the correct shaft??
