Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world. Видеоклипы
This is a deep cut the average person wouldn’t know but for true Zeppelin fans this is way up on the list of all time faves!
Utterly love it. Bonzos drumming dear lordy
My all time No.1 Zep track ✌
Un my top 3 Zepp songs, this has a hard groove rock style about it ageless.
@@dukabear2640 Mine too, Mom and Dad raised me right 😊
You said it !!!
One of Page's greatest riffs.
Oooh yeah!
Here's a nerdy fact...
It's an interpretation of a drinking ditty Bonzo used to sing. Page took the vocal melody and made it a riff
Believe it or not, I have read that John Paul Jones actually wrote it.
Absolutely, but....come on....how can we choose?!?
@@sparkampcovers6428 I think so too...
This song is so underrated
By WHO!?
Is everyfknthing underrated...
I'm just asking...good morning all...
just feels that way since it wasn't released as a single.
Zeppelin always considered themselves an album oriented band. Not too concerned about hits. Well what can we say about their approach? It is the way it was meant to be. Each song into the next like a beautiful work of art!
@@VG-iq8xq you're absolutely right...you know...Zepp isn't my favorite band...even tho I love them...but no one can ever deny that they are true artists
for those that like it story heavy and often cryptic...much respect all...im going...play a couple...peace...
Everything from Zep III is golden.
listen to Bonzo say "Stop"! before "I`m so glad i`m leavin". Actually says "STOP" before the verse..."I`m so glad I`m leavin "--"STOP".

The bass line is so heavy, John Paul Jones definitely gave a heavy sound to Zep with those bass lines

Agreed my friend ! 😁✌️
I think its a screwball song honestly, they took a spicy guitar lick and tried making a song out of it,,,I don't even know what the song is about !!! And the title is no help ! Out on the tiles ? Give me a break,,it has to be one of their worste songs ever,, Sorry, I luv them, but I must be honest, 😎✌️✝️💕

Only a real Led Zeppelin fan would appreciate this song. One of the best! Oh yeah oh yeah
YUP
I'm not really a Led Zeppelin fan, but I appreciate this song.
Yeah III seems to get ignored cos of all the acoustic stuff I think but it’s still a goddamn masterpiece. Shit this and Since I’ve Been Lovin’ You are two of their best tracks
@@harryknackers7892 You will be. You will be. 😁
It's not well known, but it's a banger.
Plant says "train that's moving my way, helps the rhythm move along" and the Bonham groove sounds like a train chugging along. So awesome.
Bu bu bu bum "just a simple guy, and I live from day to day"
That shit is too good (0:24)
I remember the first time my dad let me borrow his Led Zeppelin 3 album. I picked a random song and this was it. Became the first Zep song I had ever heard and I have been in love with them ever since. Best band of all time.
Lucky you. This song kills it!
Yes they are.of course you could have picked any song and you would have been seduced by the mighty Led Zeppelin
Most Definitely my favorite. They paved the way fo alot of great artists

John Bonham is such a great drummer. He really lays down a solid back beat here. John Bonham and John Paul Jones have a good rhythm section, which is so evident on this track. It blends in so well with Jimmy Page's amazing guitar work, and Robert Plant's powerful vocals. Cheers!
He came up with the hook for this song.
Was*, he's dead
No shit, Watson. IS*
@Captain MufDyven Agreed
Yes That back beat off beat beat
Best part at 2:37 when Bonham starts those rolls. Incomparable!
Absolutely!
I taught him how to do that.
Hard rock era. One of the best song. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Sweet and others. 1969- 1974. Six fantastic years, my favorite rock period.
Great song that rarely gets radio play on oldie stations.
Bowling Green Ky...D93 play everything!
Do you guys notice how the lead riff and bass seem to be playing the exact same riff that pulls the song forward, then curls around bonzo's crisp riffs? As that is happening, Plant's deft vocals dance between the beats and evades them like a jumprope. It is such a rhythmic and sonic delight, I cannot forget the dance.
Absolutely Fabulous
Bonhams kick drum action in When the levee breaks is good too
His drumming is so amazing in this track
@0:04 as I WALK down the highway...
Synchronised guitar and bass riffs is standard hard rock fare. You'll hear it plenty of times.
@@stephenoneill245 when they do it, it sure is fun.
One of their rare songs with a chorus.
This song should be on the radio
You will never ever hear this song on the radio, only hard cord Zeppelin fans can appreciate this amazing riff.🤘
One of my favorite Bonzo tunes. He was a master. 👽✌️
One of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs.

So fun to play this on the drums

Best song on LP III!
Kicks ass! Fifty years later STILL kicking ass! 😊
that riff is killer
My god jps bass just cuts like a knife. Love it
This song is easily the most underrated Led Zeppelin song!! Robert’s vocals along with Bonzo’s drums make this song a literal freight train, and do even get me started on the chorus or ending jam
And by "literal" you mean "figurative."
People from all different styles and walks of life can find common ground in a lot of zeppelin s music
JB’s fill after 3:50 is my fav on this track.
The bass though is fabulous the whole band fabulous classic tune from Led Zeppelin III is

Plant sings some high notes here for such a happy song. Goes into darker Zep territory on the outro. This song hooked me like a trout when I was 13.
I just listened to this twice in a row, thinking about going for thrice. This is so fucking good. I'm so glad I was born at a time when I could listen to Led Zeppelin.
I feel like I’m riding a roller coaster listening to the guitar riff and it’s so fun
This song is almost like a throw away toss off. Because how often would you ever hear it on the radio? Almost never. Yet it's a great song that is better than alot of bands "hit" songs. It just shows the greatness of this band and all they encompass
I've been playing guitar better than average for over 30 years , I think I could play for another 50 and never come up with a riff this good , and Jimmy has created dozens upon dozens !!!!!
Absolutely glorious ain't it folks. Bonzo going off. Roberts voice at its best before he lost a bit due to smoking

AMAZING!!!!
I’ve lost all my original vinyl copies and those horrible 1st-generation CDs released in 1983 but it’s refreshing to know that Page is continually revisiting the original studio tapes and making remixes suitable for the 2020s. So I’m saving up for those as a present to myself.
You could listen to Bonham's bridging throughout the song and that itself would be amazing. So funky.
Yep. 1 of their greatest. A masterpiece
why this have only 958 views yet? NEED MUCH MORE!
Because the video on the zeppelin page already has millions of views
