I absolutely love these designs for ghidorah, mothra, and Rodan both very faithful to their toho counterparts but at the same time being recognizable in their own right.
Idk i wish they kept the hair manes from the Showa Ghidorah to the MV Ghidorah
@@snapbacktoreality48 literally none of the ghidorahs after the showa era had manes and they STILL worked. The mane seriously isn't that crucial of a detail to add to a alien like ghidorah.

I love the designs of the Titans. Rodan’s is the most simplistic, showing that the design is timeless. Mothra’s is the most unique, showing a more feminine look to Mothra. Ghidorah has been perfected. I loved the design.

Mothra has a stunning design and I love how Rodan is like a phoenix. But both of them are incredibly small compared to Godzilla and ghidorah, especially mothra. In my opinion, of course

It would be very appropriate for his movie design
What I love about the Legendary Monsterverse Titans, is that they are original designs that are still faithful to the designs of the past. The designers and producers completely understand the Kaiju this time around and they make changes, but they are changes that make sense, add to the titans themselves and aren't absolutely insane. Like how Mothra has a stinger, claw like appendages and the overall look of Mothra! They are more of a western orientated version of the Kaiju, but they are definitely BADASS. Burning Godzilla being able to pulse was genius and making the waves in the form of Mothras wings was a stroke of brilliance. Big G couldn't have reached that level of power without Mothra, so it adds a visual element that even when she died, she is still helping Godzilla.
There are still some questionable decisions in the Monsterverse, but so far they have been doing the Kaijus and the lore justice. I cant argue with what they've been doing, that's for sure.
I still prefer the old mothra design though
She looked so cute and i feel like that added to her character since she is always shown to be more of a pacifist of sorts

Monsterverse Mothra sort of gets rid of the cute fluff of Toho Mothra and replaces it with majesticness and elegance. Which I think is just as good.
The G-man didn’t go Thermonuclear with just Mothra, he needed a nuke AND Mothra.
I'm still disapointed that we were not treated to a team up between of all three against King Gidorah in KOTM. Like, Rodan and Mothra could have battled earlier in the movie, resulting in Mothra wining and "recruting" Rodan to her and Godzilla's side. And their help being the main reason Godzilla could drag the battle long enough to reach thermonuclear, as they prevented Gidorah's three heads to focus on Godzilla.
here me out. have rodan be under some form of mind control that ghidorah can do were he manipulates his brain via some form of physic link or maybe ghidorah implants something into his brain. mothra then breaks the connection somehow and he joins Godzilla's team.

We really need a solo monsterverse movie for Rodan and Mothra. Rodan meets another magma dweller being Obsidious from the Godzilla unleashed game and Mothras' egg hatches reveling triplets. Mothra herself, one brother named Leo moth and an evil brother dubbed Battra.
And they Battle Gigan and Megalon
I think Battra worked better NOT as Evil, just hated Humanity but still want to protect the Planet as for Leo, i think it's worked as Mothra's Trump Card because He is the strongest one

However battra does not care about about casualities and he would be happy to commit mass genocide if that means the planet will be safer

Jason Liles' performance as Rodan is the scene where Rodan bows to Godzilla. This was stated during a panel with him and the other mocap artists at Fayetteville Comicon back in 2020
Rodan is actually incredible in that movie, the way he moves and the way he fights, he fought Mothra, and she could only knock him out while he ripped her apart. He even got some good hits on Ghidora
For me, I would have preferred if rodan was on godzillas side but that didn't happen.

Rodan was definitely beating mothra by a lot untill she whipped out the stinger, but I don't think Mothra was doing as bad as people say, because most of the fight happens off screen. There is a part they do show for just a short time that we can see Mothra ramming Rodan into the ground, and flying away.

When was the muppet bat? The only Ghidorah I can think of off the top of my head that is not an alien is the GMK Ghidorah.

One of my favorite little jokes in King of the Monsters is one guy in the control room when Monthra wakes up and they find out she's communicating with Godzilla he says "So those two have got like a...thing going on?"
And as kaiju fans all of us have to pretty much pause and say. "I...uh...I mean....yea, pretty much."

I wouldn't say Ren's death is explicitly clear in the novel. There's no evidence his body was in the cockpit when the room was destroyed.

I’ve heard they won’t be in GxK, but I hope the next film after that features both of them, as well as Kong and Godzilla. They could all team up to fight Desotrayah. Make it sort of the Avengers: Endgame of the Monsterverse.

Honestly I think all of the designs they have are SPECTACULAR. Rodan’s roar however... ehh, it could’ve sounded a little bit less like a generic monster screech.

rodan is basically all presentation, and that's it. he was in my personal favorite scene in kotms, but he just got pushed to the side through the rest of it. hell he doesn't even do much in the movie.

In my opinion Rodan with feathers makes him looks more menacing and and bit larger because other birds use feathers to make them look larger like the peacock

@@mattlawrence1932 IMO the feather pattern adds more detail to his design. I mean he's not exactly a mirror image of pterodactyl anyway. He also just flies faster than the speed of sound. So let's just have more fun with the design.
The best Ghidorah hands down, don't get me wrong I love the Showa & Hesei era (millennium was okay) but KOTM Ghidorah tops them all. The personality, the absolute power he displays, the fact the heads are all now individual personality that can regrow if beheaded!!! I mean come on. Plus that Alpha Cry..... chills everytime

Now idk if this is true, but I know mothra has bioluminescence, but she looked like she took a sample of Godzilla's energy which explains her blue AND orange glow, and once she got hit by Ghidorah's gravity beams, her wings became orange, making it look like she absorbed some of his gravity beams and when she died, she basically gave her energy, a sample of Godzilla's and some of Ghidorah's energy (gravity beams)
She has bioluminescene because her species naturally has it, godzilla isn't the only kaiju to glow blue and even then the two glow blue for different reasons

King Ghidorah's wingspan is shorter than both of these titans? I don't think so. Monster Zero has the largest set of wings in the Monsterverse and both don't seem to have longer wings than Ghidorah himself. When Rodan was fighting Ghidorah we could see that Ghidorah's wings were slightly larger. Approx 984 ft (300 mtrs).
I agree ghidorah's wingspan being close to 1,000 feet or a little bigger is much more accurate. I mean the guy had wings so big he used them to shield his entire body from missiles not once but twice in the film.

His wings were refereed to be exceptionally large which could dark some buildings under it. It's either 300 mtrs or higher.

Same way legendary said the male muto is 281 feet tall during the kotm watch-a-long despite the male muto was already confirmed to be 200 feet and that original height is more accurate. If he was 281 feet he would be similar in size to both the femuto and godzilla

I was actually very pleased with Legendary’s Mothra Glow Up, they made her so fierce and bad-ass compared to the classic Japanese depictions.
One minor flaw:
Rodan performs an Aileron Roll, not a barrel roll.
Also, no, I don't think we'll every get a full on game, so long as people keep pouring money into the pathetic cash grabs of mobile games and slot machines.
I'd happily settle for the PS4 Godzilla game, just with more monsters.
The PS4 Godzilla game deserves a sequel. It had so much potential that I believe could have been fulfilled if the developers were given more time, along with a bigger budget. It'd be awesome to play as MV King Ghidorah and just demolish everyone as him.

Hey, so, Mothra died in King of the Monsters. But, she did lay her egg, and something that just occurred to me, is that Mothra could very well appear again looking exactly the same...
Or we could get Mothra Leo. I was a bit disappointed MV Mothra had no beam attacks, since even outside of the Rebirth trilogy, Mothra usually has Antennae lasers. But Leo kind of has to have some sort of breath weapon, and if they can make Atomic Breath and Lightning blasts work, they can figure something out for a Rainbow Heat Ray while not feeling too 'unrealistic.' And just think how awesome Leo could look with the Monsterverse style.

How to differenciate MV Ghidorah's heads:
MonsterVerse King Ghidorah's heads has ten horns, one of Ni's (right head) horns is chipped. These horns are also slightly larger and more curved, while Kevin's (left head) horns appear to be straighter than the others, and Ichi (center head) have two rows of spikes running down the back of his neck.

If he's truly dead...where's his body when Madison checks the Ghidorah skull?
He might have simply entered a brief coma, triggered by the initial surge of Ghidorah taking over Mechagodzilla. After a few minutes of being *technically* dead, he revived.
It may be possible that ghidora and ren "merged" after that happened
If a mecha king ghidora ever appears he will likely be behind it in someway

KOTM had some awesome moments, but I wish the fights in did these monsters justice. I don't care about humans talking to each other in a plane or trying to find their daughter.
Godzilla vs. Kong did it right by giving us a solid few minutes of fighting before cutting to any humans.
Just a side note, "I don't care" isn't a valid argument as it does and means absolutely nothing. Ya know, because you fail to contextualize any of your viewpoints.
Anyways, I think you're just wrong. King Ghidorah is shown to be as powerful, if not more, than Godzilla. Being able to tank Godzilla's atomic breath, absorbing Boston's electricity and power up from it, picking up and dropping Godzilla, his Gravity Beams can hurt Godzilla, and his mere existence causes category 6 hurricanes around him.
For Rodan, just look at his awakening scene. He easily catches up to fighter jets in a few seconds and completely destroys Isle de Mara by simply flying over it. Not to mention, he plays with jets and destroys them all with little effort. All with a grin on his face.
Lastly, for Mothra, you can see that in the final fight, she is able to slam Rodan onto the ground before flying away despite her being significantly smaller. Her silk is able to restrain Ghidorah and her stinger easily pierces Rodan's volcanic skin, completely going through his body, and without any burns despite Rodan having lava inside him.
@@whishiwhooshi5783 Yup, those were cool moments for sure. But good monster fights? Nah. Monsters being shown as fast and/or powerful doesn't mean much when you hardly see it on screen.
"They're killing each other!" A character yells as Rodan and King Ghidorah are having an awesome battle in the sky... so why are we watching the Argo try to open some doors for some kids who are completely disconnected from the story.
Mothra slams Rodan into the ground and flies away with Rodan still hot on her tail... why are we watching and lingering on characters trying to get home?
Again, KOTM has awesome moments, but the fights are abysmal due to human interruption. And didn't care much for the humans in KOTM, making "I don't care" a totally a valid argument if they are popping up every 30 seconds during fights. Just because it is subjective and you disagree doesn't make it invalid.
KvG > KOTM any day.

Hey when are you guys going to redo the kaiju profiles of Titanosaurus, and Space Godzilla
would love a monsterverse console game like the pipeworks games.(find it cute how the creators support godzilla & mothra as a couple with their symbiotic caring relationship and speaking of fighting games remember a parody of the king of the monsters poster with super smash bros. with bayonetta/bowser as mothra/godzilla which i loved considering her being friends with her summon madama butterfly,sprouting butterfly wings,her dark but very friendly nature when given respect like mothra not hurting people when awakening and summoning bowser with her princess daisy/peach costumes.:3)
