Rodan is often severely underestimated by many people. His durability is beyond insane. His speed is remarkable. A shame he did not get the uranium beam he was supposed to in 2019. Either it was scrapped or Rodan didnt use it. That thing is as strong as the Atomic breath or Gravity beams.

@@elicarp001 I think you missed the part where he took ghidorahs gravity beam at point blank range and almost killed mothra. He also survived the sting from mothra. In fact he looked pretty good by the time he was bowing to godzilla.
Rodan also has an ability to release heat from his body in a short distance. We see him use this to burn Mothra’s wings shortly before he got impaled in KOTM. If held long enough, it could be fatal to the male Muto.

I know on thing the Mutos can definitely win against… Mechagodzilla! Look, if Muto’s EMP pulse can disable Godzilla’s atomic breath, it can definitely stop Mechagodzilla since he’s electric and a robot. So Muto against MechaG, not a god damn problem.
Even if he disabled mechagodzilla muto wouldn't be able to make a dent seeing how it can take a huge godzilla spine (UNCHARGED) that chopped the mutos leg off. And even when you saw how in GvK they put water on the system and it only shut down mecha for less then a second.

@@Lukiethewesly13 MG relies on Hollow Earth Energy, not a regular Battery. The EMP would probably disable MG's missiles, A-78 and Tail. But everything else would be just fine

This WOULD give the MUTOS a advantage but mecha has a crap ton of durability and could still land some good attacks and once his attacks were online he would kill the MUTOS the same way godzilla did with the MUTOS but just more easier and more brutal.

I'd like a battle analysis with Mothra vs. Rodan. I understand that Mothra probably has way more battle experience and is less reckless, but Rodan had a lot of armor and weaponry. I think it's worth looking into.

In nature, there are some birds that vomit out their stomach contents to drive predators away. I think the reason why, in the cave painting, Rodan looks like he was breathing fire was more that he had molten lava stored in his stomach and he just vomits it out at its enemy. We did not see this in the movie because after he left the volcano he spent his time following Ghidora away from sources of lava.

@Shoutmon DX 2014 Atomic Breath was Weakened by their EMP. Even then It Hurted them so much. Gravity Beams are More Powerful than Atomic Breath and Rodan Survived it. Physically, Ghidorah wasn't able to Defeat Rodan. That Shows His Speed, Strength and Durability. Mutos Heads are too Small as Just Buting it Rodan can Kill that Thing Very Easily..
Amazing Job Gogi Center! I appreciate how Rodan finally got some justice. And even though this is not shown at all, I do beleive that because of his bio-nuclear/volcanc build and anatomy, his blood hitting any Titan would cause burns, as he probably adapted to have that ability.
The real question is how many Male Mutos could Rodan take at once? I’m gonna say 3-7 depending on whether he gets his fire breath at some point or decides to use hit n run tactics
while I don't disagree with you, and I really think he probably COULD handle that many as long as he doesn't get stupid (which he... does, a ... lot), I'd be interested more in what sort of scenario even brought that to pass. I am pretty sure that 2014 didn't EXACTLY have all the details for Monsterverse hammered out yet, meaning the MUTOs were (in their optimum pride) (I mean, prime. No not MUTO Prime I'm, gah sorry) likely used to living in a world filled with dangerous titans. Meaning not just godzillas, but all sorts of titans were a thing they had to be aware of and likely avoided, especially since they had evolved to specifically hunt godzillas. Their domancy period is so enormous that there are likely still tons of MUTOs around, maybe even in Hollow Earth, but we have no idea what would happen to cause them to become so numerous and dense in population enough to attack a Rodan en masse. I mean if they hunt radiation, they likely only feed on specifically radioactive materials/beings, and have evolved specifically to hunt godzilla, so why so many would show up to fight a Rodan is an interesting thought experiment. I mean I know I'm being silly too, this whole thing's silly, fire chicken kills giant mosquito (damn right it does). I just liked your idea a lot Mr. Griffin Crump sir, and was curious what sort of scenario may've brought it about. godzillas being so rare that a lot of dormant males waking up at once and only finding one or two g-men to eat on, there's gonna be a fight, one that I don't think any single godzilla would ignore. I agree with majority of the video, but I do think in terms of strength Rodan should have had the edge. The force produced by him flying was enough to literally eradicate a city just by flying over. Even Ghidorah didn't do that. Compare that the Muto who could easily fly through cities without destroying them. Not just that, but Rodan could destroy fighter jets just from the sheer force of clapping his wings together.
rodan's feats are: playing with hyper - sonic jets, easily catching up to them mach 4 speeds tanking a gravity beam, only about 20 feet away from the head falling into water (his natural weakness) after tanking a gravity beam, then seeming fine almost right after almost instantly regenerated from a massive stinger going through a vital place tanking hundreds of missiles from jets without noticing (in gvk godzilla got disturbed by 2 - 3 missiles) flying effortlessly, while tanking missiles from jets and fighting another kaiju (mothra) after sleeping for millions of years, easily removes a massive titanium gate ontop of a volcanoe while inside put up a trouble against ghidorah some heisei feats: uranium heat ray matches godzilla's (heisei godzillas atomic breath at the minimum is able to destroy a galaxy due to black hole logic) tanked smg's rays (these are much stronger than godzilla's normal atomic breath)
Showa feats: While one succumbed to a volcanic eruption, the other actually survived. This is also the smartest Rodan, playing strategy, communicating, coming up with tactics on the fly, using boulders as weapons, and synergizing with other kaiju. He's sturdy too, tanking Godzilla's ray and Ghidorah's beams. This is the only Rodan who actually held off Godzilla, the others failing, and the Monsterverse Rodan not even trying. He's not as fast as the later Rodans, but can completely outfly a squadron of F-86Fs and can zip around to Aso to the coast back to Yokohama, and going from Moscow to Tokyo in a day.
Nah, Camazotz would slap. He has a roar that can destroy entire buildings, and Rodan's full force can't even take down the top of a building, as seen in KOTM.

Rodan wasn't seen breathing fire, that's true. However, he was clearly seen emitting fire from his wings when he pinned Mothra to a building, and he is able to cause volcanoes to erupt just by flying over them, so he obviously has elemental powers. Also, while it would be a close fight, I believe Camazotz would win. Camazotz is able to create storms, he has an army, and his sonic shriek not only has emp effects, but can also daze and disorient other titans which would send Rodan crashing into the ground, not to mention the force of the soundwaves is enough to not just break, but *shatter* buildings, meaning that it can probably damage Rodan's armour. Camazotz also has razor sharp claws and talons, just like Rodan, but unlike Rodan, Camazotz also has a prehensile tail covered in spikes and spikes on his wings. Camazotz is also incredibly strong, as he was capable of lifting up a nearly full grown Kong, and displayed the capacity for strategy by repeatedly picking Kong up and dropping him. It's worth noting that Camazotz could lift Kong using his tail, not just his talons, showing that his tail has a very strong grip. Camazotz does have a smaller wingspan, but he has the height advantage, he has an armoured body and while not as fast as Rodan, he is just as, if not more agile.

When battling Rodan, Mothra's wings were burned, but not so bad as to prevent flying, and her body wasn't burned that much either, not to mention stabbing him without sustaining burns. Camazotz has armour and spikes covering his tail so it's quite possible that he could handle Rodan, and even if Rodan is too hot to be carried, he can still be smacked around, and Camazotz's tail being prehensile means it has a large range of movement which makes it even easier to smack Rodan with it.
I think what happened is that the lava got out of the volcano due to the cyclonic drift, and the fire it created wa the lava he brought with him.Though I think he'd win against camazotz because of the thunderclap, his body probably would be in shock after one, letting room for Rodan to tera him apart, though it'd sure be close. For the army, well this is a 1v1 fight, it'd be the same as letting Ghidorah have his "submitted" titan in a Goji center fight.
@@olivierallaire6302 Respectfully, I disagree. Firstly, we'd have seen if the volcano erupted, it didn't. There was no lava around Rodan's feet to indicate that the volcano erupted, and it is known that Rodan has an internal volcanic combustion system. Secondly, Camazotz army is different from the submitted titans. Submitted titans can choose to disobey, we've seen it happen to Godzilla, but Camazotz minions are loyal to him alone. Furthermore, they seem to operate as an extension of him, as after being disorientated by a jet flying passed his face and thrown into the Hollow Earth by Kong, The Hellswarm became followed after him. But I suppose they could be taken out of the equation, but personally I think it'd be like Genitor with the Genitor Swarm. Thirdly, it's possible that the thunderclap move could work, but I don't think the soundwaves it creates are strong enough or loud enough to disorientate Camazotz long enough for Rodan to get a good attack in. Maybe if Rodan's wings were right in his face, but while Rodan is faster, Camazotz is more agile and could easily get out the way.

As for the army, I'd say that Rodan could easily take them down by flying over them, thunderclapping them, setting them on fire (if you consider he can). While Cama is more agile, Rodan's speed will give him an advantage to enter an equal close combat by ramming into Cama. The prehensile tail would not be too hard to deal with, since Rodan has an extremely wide range of close movement, and the EMP probably wouldn't do much. Even though Rodan can be slammed around, it's easier said than done since it's an extremely denselyt-musculated titan, probably stonger than Cama. His sonic scriech would have an effect, but I don't think it would be enough to disable a titan that can produce sonic waves itself. I'll admit that Camazotz has an impressive amount of armour, but Rodan has at least as much protection than him, if not more. After a lot of fighting, I think he'd win, tho this is just my point of view and I totally agree that it would make an intense fight, and that the big bird would have to rest for a long while after this.
Rodan was pretty cool. I would watch a Rodan stand alone film. They could have him trying to reach a volcano where a large city is located and the military is attempting to stop him. As he eventually reaches his destination he begins to dig as if making a nest in the volcano and another monster who lives in that territory wakes up and comes to fight him. Meanwhile all the people are trying to evacuate the city as they were not all able to flee in time due to the speed that Rodan arrived there. Rodan and (insert monster here) practically fight to a standstill as Rodan stands in the top of the volcano and lies down in it heating it up the volcano becomes active and begins to rumble. The two monsters go at each other again as another Rodan emerges. It was Rodans mate. The two tag team and defeat (insert monster here) as the human characters escape or die... Whatever, nobody usually cares. The two Rodans cuddle up and the movie fades to some acientist talking about bird couples and how amazing it is to witness similar behavior in titans. The movie cuts to the Rodans as one gets up from the nest/ volcano they both look down and the camera looks down to show a nest with three eggs in it as godzilla makes landfall in their direction. The movie can either end here or we can have more battles as Godzilla gets closer to the nest the original Rodan leaves to intercept. They battle it out with Rodan obviously having no chance of defeating the king oglf the monsters. Godzilla takes some superficial damage before incapacitating the suprisingly durable Rodan. Godzilla begins lumbering in the direction of the nest once again. The Rodan at the nest sees Godzilla on the horizon and briefly scans the sky for its partner before taking off to meet Godzilla. Reaching its top speed this Rodan hits Godzilla full force just as he fires off his atomic breath only taking minor damage. Rodan 2 leaps into the high air before diving back down again talons extended. Godzilla catche the talons in his front claws pulling Rodan2 in for a bite to the stomach which causes it to screech loudly in pain. This screech startles the original Rodan back awake and it begins to take off sluggishly toward them trailing smoke and dragging its wings along buildings setting them ablaze. It arrives just in time to see Godzilla finish off Rodan two by breaking its neck. Infuriated Rodan screeches and thrust forward visibly slower and weaker than at the beginning. Godzilla glances back at his weakened for before spinning in the other direction and tail whipping Rodan to the ground destroying more building and leaving him partially buried in burning debris. Godzilla walks over to the nest and plucks an egg oit devouring it. Then another. The last egg is left as he looms over the nest he burps out a satisfied grunt and turns to begin his trek back to the sea. The once majestic Rodan hobbles on folded lava/blood dripped wings to its partner nudging it several times before looking visibly sad and giving up. It returns to its nest to find on intact egg which it immediately covers with its heated body. Late science nerds around the world speculate over whether Godzilla merely wanted to eat eggs. While others remind us that the king must protect his crown by maintaing the balance of power. As a side note we could have the secondary Rodan be the male and the original a female. This would give us the chance to have a more flamboyant version of Rodan in the male with even more visible flames and more extreme and menacing appearance. Its still best that this Rodan be killed off in my opinion so that the new baby Rodan can be a male and have a vendetta against Godzilla which will carry over into a future story.

Both Rodan and Mothra get up after slaming each other in KOTM 10:47 So the fact that Mothra got up as soon as Rodan cought her distracted and clashed with him in mid air says alot as well if she fights a male muto,and a bigger Mothra would be much much much more formidable.
agreed and i think mothra wasnt fully formed in kotm judging by her durability being so low and her wings shape too. She must have not been formed cuz she came outta her cocoon too early or she started metamorphisis too early cuz of ghidorah showing up again.
@@lolipopplayzzz7825 I just din't like the way they handled her in that final battle.Like she has powers that can help her create an opening on so many Titans when its time to fight and it would give her more of an opening to defeat them.If Mothra used her God rays and webs on Rodan we would be having a much much different battle.Even tho for titan size she is kinda small her abilitys help her and the fact that she is also pretty physical in the Monsterverse.The final battle with Rodan was not done well imo,she slammed him back and all but i wanted to see more.And that stinger is deadly going up in Rodan's insides with how durable Rodan Skin is.She was about to kill Ghidorah before Rodan came in according to the novel in KOTM.That's why i say..a bigger Mothra would be so much more formidable.But even tho she is kinda small in KOTM she still was strong..i hope to see her in her own movie soon.
I believe that Mothra could’ve gotten stronger but she just started evolving into Moth form after her Larvae form. She could probably have used her abilities more and could perform much more better, had she continued further in her Mothra form.

What i'll always appreciate about Kotm is how it elevated Rodan to Mythic status To survive getting beamed by Ghidorah is no small feat. His sounds and design are near perfect imo. The only suggestion is if in the Monsterverse apple+ series is if he gets his original roar sampled like Gojira did in 2Ø19 ❤🦅🤎

I'm actually new to this universe and the reason why i'm watching this video is because i'm more interested to the analyze of this titans but i admit, after reading the comments, i didnt knew that rodan is 'not appreciate enough or acknowlegde' the first thought it came to mind is how cool the titan rodan is, i will also admit that i did not watch the movie and spoiled myself but my intention are not that, i simply here for the analyze and fiery bird, i will try watching the movie despite knowing some spoiler, i'm not that bother, all i know is that i will try to watch the movie and be awestruck.
Rodan is crazy! I litteraly LOVE this kaiju. Another ability he has (not mentioned here) is, his wings can burn other kaiju on contact like he did with mothra. Rodan is one of my favorite kaijus, so I strongly support rodan. From everything I learned from this very informative video of yours Goji Center, I can say rodan can win over any muto and camazotz as well.
@Shoutmon DX well when we look at their different feets, Rodan is just clearly superior, I myself and very likely many others do not need this video to understand that. Yes they made Godzilla bleed, but remember that was a pretty toned down Godzilla and a 2v1

I don’t know why but today has always been one of my favorite kaiju and seeing them bring him back was definitely an awesome site to see and it makes me even happier to think this to fan is stronger than the other one making him more useful in fights and always remember everyone he never died… *he never died*
The mutos armor piercing spines are a superior weapon to Rodans foot claws. Rodan has short legs with a limited range of motion. The spines where long flexible and pierced godzillas thick hide. While a ridge may be limited they where proven very effective in close quarters. Rodan still dominates thanks to speed and size.
Also since tbe lore calls him a nuclear volcanic monster the emp would be an effective weapon. His nuclear properties leave him a simular vulnerabilty as our favorite atomic monster. Unless you know of a reason his volcanic properties counter his nuclear engine. I would aasume the emp would tire Rodan stalling his energy recovery.
it depends, in a close fight rage is not everything. claws can be more effective in this scenario. The mobility of the Rodan's claws are very good like birds of prey while the Muto's are more restrained very similar to galloping animals in addition: 20:21 - 20:49

Michael Doughtery confirms Godzilla from 2019-2021 would easily kill all the Muto’s. Yes. Current Godzilla is more powerful than Muto Prime. And Rodan is powerful enough to at least attack Ghidorah. He can beat any Muto.

Look, if Muto’s EMP pulse can disable Godzilla’s atomic breath, it can definitely stop Mechagodzilla since he’s electric and a robot. So Muto against MechaG, not a god damn problem.
Even if he disabled mechagodzilla muto wouldn't be able to make a dent seeing how it can take a huge godzilla spine (UNCHARGED) that chopped the mutos leg off. And even when you saw how in GvK they put water on the system and it only shut down mecha for less then a second.

I'd like a battle analysis with Mothra vs. Rodan. I understand that Mothra probably has way more battle experience and is less reckless, but Rodan had a lot of armor and weaponry. I think it's worth looking into.

Rodan had always been in the top 5 favourite monsters in the Godzilla series, I was so hyped when I saw him in the new Godzilla films
In nature, there are some birds that vomit out their stomach contents to drive predators away. I think the reason why, in the cave painting, Rodan looks like he was breathing fire was more that he had molten lava stored in his stomach and he just vomits it out at its enemy. We did not see this in the movie because after he left the volcano he spent his time following Ghidora away from sources of lava.

Amazing Job Gogi Center! I appreciate how Rodan finally got some justice. And even though this is not shown at all, I do beleive that because of his bio-nuclear/volcanc build and anatomy, his blood hitting any Titan would cause burns, as he probably adapted to have that ability.

The real question is how many Male Mutos could Rodan take at once? I’m gonna say 3-7 depending on whether he gets his fire breath at some point or decides to use hit n run tactics
while I don't disagree with you, and I really think he probably COULD handle that many as long as he doesn't get stupid (which he... does, a ... lot), I'd be interested more in what sort of scenario even brought that to pass. I am pretty sure that 2014 didn't EXACTLY have all the details for Monsterverse hammered out yet, meaning the MUTOs were (in their optimum pride) (I mean, prime. No not MUTO Prime I'm, gah sorry) likely used to living in a world filled with dangerous titans.
Meaning not just godzillas, but all sorts of titans were a thing they had to be aware of and likely avoided, especially since they had evolved to specifically hunt godzillas. Their domancy period is so enormous that there are likely still tons of MUTOs around, maybe even in Hollow Earth, but we have no idea what would happen to cause them to become so numerous and dense in population enough to attack a Rodan en masse.
I mean if they hunt radiation, they likely only feed on specifically radioactive materials/beings, and have evolved specifically to hunt godzilla, so why so many would show up to fight a Rodan is an interesting thought experiment. I mean I know I'm being silly too, this whole thing's silly, fire chicken kills giant mosquito (damn right it does). I just liked your idea a lot Mr. Griffin Crump sir, and was curious what sort of scenario may've brought it about. godzillas being so rare that a lot of dormant males waking up at once and only finding one or two g-men to eat on, there's gonna be a fight, one that I don't think any single godzilla would ignore. So how did our Rodan get there, and does G just go like "HAH those guys can fly TOO Rodan, you gonna stand for that?"

I agree with majority of the video, but I do think in terms of strength Rodan should have had the edge. The force produced by him flying was enough to literally eradicate a city just by flying over. Even Ghidorah didn't do that. Compare that the Muto who could easily fly through cities without destroying them.
Not just that, but Rodan could destroy fighter jets just from the sheer force of clapping his wings together.

rodan's feats are:
playing with hyper - sonic jets, easily catching up to them
mach 4 speeds
tanking a gravity beam, only about 20 feet away from the head
falling into water (his natural weakness) after tanking a gravity beam, then seeming fine almost right after
almost instantly regenerated from a massive stinger going through a vital place
tanking hundreds of missiles from jets without noticing (in gvk godzilla got disturbed by 2 - 3 missiles)
flying effortlessly, while tanking missiles from jets and fighting another kaiju (mothra)
after sleeping for millions of years, easily removes a massive titanium gate ontop of a volcanoe while inside
put up a trouble against ghidorah
some heisei feats:
uranium heat ray matches godzilla's (heisei godzillas atomic breath at the minimum is able to destroy a galaxy due to black hole logic)
tanked smg's rays (these are much stronger than godzilla's normal atomic breath)
Showa feats: While one succumbed to a volcanic eruption, the other actually survived. This is also the smartest Rodan, playing strategy, communicating, coming up with tactics on the fly, using boulders as weapons, and synergizing with other kaiju. He's sturdy too, tanking Godzilla's ray and Ghidorah's beams. This is the only Rodan who actually held off Godzilla, the others failing, and the Monsterverse Rodan not even trying. He's not as fast as the later Rodans, but can completely outfly a squadron of F-86Fs and can zip around to Aso to the coast back to Yokohama, and going from Moscow to Tokyo in a day.
Maybe, Rodan vs Camazotz is a most balance duel.

Nah, Camazotz would slap. He has a roar that can destroy entire buildings, and Rodan's full force can't even take down the top of a building, as seen in KOTM.

Rodan wasn't seen breathing fire, that's true.
However, he was clearly seen emitting fire from his wings when he pinned Mothra to a building, and he is able to cause volcanoes to erupt just by flying over them, so he obviously has elemental powers.
Also, while it would be a close fight, I believe Camazotz would win.
Camazotz is able to create storms, he has an army, and his sonic shriek not only has emp effects, but can also daze and disorient other titans which would send Rodan crashing into the ground, not to mention the force of the soundwaves is enough to not just break, but *shatter* buildings, meaning that it can probably damage Rodan's armour.
Camazotz also has razor sharp claws and talons, just like Rodan, but unlike Rodan, Camazotz also has a prehensile tail covered in spikes and spikes on his wings.
Camazotz is also incredibly strong, as he was capable of lifting up a nearly full grown Kong, and displayed the capacity for strategy by repeatedly picking Kong up and dropping him.
It's worth noting that Camazotz could lift Kong using his tail, not just his talons, showing that his tail has a very strong grip.
Camazotz does have a smaller wingspan, but he has the height advantage, he has an armoured body and while not as fast as Rodan, he is just as, if not more agile.
Uh, you talked about the prehensile tail but Rodan's body is too hot to be handled.

When battling Rodan, Mothra's wings were burned, but not so bad as to prevent flying, and her body wasn't burned that much either, not to mention stabbing him without sustaining burns.
Camazotz has armour and spikes covering his tail so it's quite possible that he could handle Rodan, and even if Rodan is too hot to be carried, he can still be smacked around, and Camazotz's tail being prehensile means it has a large range of movement which makes it even easier to smack Rodan with it.
I think what happened is that the lava got out of the volcano due to the cyclonic drift, and the fire it created wa the lava he brought with him.Though I think he'd win against camazotz because of the thunderclap, his body probably would be in shock after one, letting room for Rodan to tera him apart, though it'd sure be close. For the army, well this is a 1v1 fight, it'd be the same as letting Ghidorah have his "submitted" titan in a Goji center fight.

Respectfully, I disagree.
Firstly, we'd have seen if the volcano erupted, it didn't. There was no lava around Rodan's feet to indicate that the volcano erupted, and it is known that Rodan has an internal volcanic combustion system.
Secondly, Camazotz army is different from the submitted titans. Submitted titans can choose to disobey, we've seen it happen to Godzilla, but Camazotz minions are loyal to him alone.
Furthermore, they seem to operate as an extension of him, as after being disorientated by a jet flying passed his face and thrown into the Hollow Earth by Kong, The Hellswarm became followed after him.
But I suppose they could be taken out of the equation, but personally I think it'd be like Genitor with the Genitor Swarm.
Thirdly, it's possible that the thunderclap move could work, but I don't think the soundwaves it creates are strong enough or loud enough to disorientate Camazotz long enough for Rodan to get a good attack in.
Maybe if Rodan's wings were right in his face, but while Rodan is faster, Camazotz is more agile and could easily get out the way.

As for the army, I'd say that Rodan could easily take them down by flying over them, thunderclapping them, setting them on fire (if you consider he can). While Cama is more agile, Rodan's speed will give him an advantage to enter an equal close combat by ramming into Cama. The prehensile tail would not be too hard to deal with, since Rodan has an extremely wide range of close movement, and the EMP probably wouldn't do much. Even though Rodan can be slammed around, it's easier said than done since it's an extremely denselyt-musculated titan, probably stonger than Cama. His sonic scriech would have an effect, but I don't think it would be enough to disable a titan that can produce sonic waves itself. I'll admit that Camazotz has an impressive amount of armour, but Rodan has at least as much protection than him, if not more. After a lot of fighting, I think he'd win, tho this is just my point of view and I totally agree that it would make an intense fight, and that the big bird would have to rest for a long while after this.

Rodan was pretty cool. I would watch a Rodan stand alone film. They could have him trying to reach a volcano where a large city is located and the military is attempting to stop him.
As he eventually reaches his destination he begins to dig as if making a nest in the volcano and another monster who lives in that territory wakes up and comes to fight him.
Meanwhile all the people are trying to evacuate the city as they were not all able to flee in time due to the speed that Rodan arrived there.
Rodan and (insert monster here) practically fight to a standstill as Rodan stands in the top of the volcano and lies down in it heating it up the volcano becomes active and begins to rumble.
The two monsters go at each other again as another Rodan emerges. It was Rodans mate.
The two tag team and defeat (insert monster here) as the human characters escape or die... Whatever, nobody usually cares.
The two Rodans cuddle up and the movie fades to some acientist talking about bird couples and how amazing it is to witness similar behavior in titans.
The movie cuts to the Rodans as one gets up from the nest/ volcano they both look down and the camera looks down to show a nest with three eggs in it as godzilla makes landfall in their direction.
The movie can either end here or we can have more battles as Godzilla gets closer to the nest the original Rodan leaves to intercept.
They battle it out with Rodan obviously having no chance of defeating the king oglf the monsters. Godzilla takes some superficial damage before incapacitating the suprisingly durable Rodan.
Godzilla begins lumbering in the direction of the nest once again.
The Rodan at the nest sees Godzilla on the horizon and briefly scans the sky for its partner before taking off to meet Godzilla. Reaching its top speed this Rodan hits Godzilla full force just as he fires off his atomic breath only taking minor damage.
Rodan 2 leaps into the high air before diving back down again talons extended. Godzilla catche the talons in his front claws pulling Rodan2 in for a bite to the stomach which causes it to screech loudly in pain.
This screech startles the original Rodan back awake and it begins to take off sluggishly toward them trailing smoke and dragging its wings along buildings setting them ablaze. It arrives just in time to see Godzilla finish off Rodan two by breaking its neck.
Infuriated Rodan screeches and thrust forward visibly slower and weaker than at the beginning. Godzilla glances back at his weakened for before spinning in the other direction and tail whipping Rodan to the ground destroying more building and leaving him partially buried in burning debris.
Godzilla walks over to the nest and plucks an egg oit devouring it. Then another.
The last egg is left as he looms over the nest he burps out a satisfied grunt and turns to begin his trek back to the sea.
The once majestic Rodan hobbles on folded lava/blood dripped wings to its partner nudging it several times before looking visibly sad and giving up. It returns to its nest to find on intact egg which it immediately covers with its heated body.
Late science nerds around the world speculate over whether Godzilla merely wanted to eat eggs. While others remind us that the king must protect his crown by maintaing the balance of power.
As a side note we could have the secondary Rodan be the male and the original a female. This would give us the chance to have a more flamboyant version of Rodan in the male with even more visible flames and more extreme and menacing appearance. Its still best that this Rodan be killed off in my opinion so that the new baby Rodan can be a male and have a vendetta against Godzilla which will carry over into a future story.

Ghidorah smeshes Prime. All of Prime's weapons were made to counteract Godzilla's weapons so it wouldn't have any answer to Ghidorah's fighting style.

@@lolipopplayzzz7825 I just din't like the way they handled her in that final battle.Like she has powers that can help her create an opening on so many Titans when its time to fight and it would give her more of an opening to defeat them.If Mothra used her God rays and webs on Rodan we would be having a much much different battle.Even tho for titan size she is kinda small her abilitys help her and the fact that she is also pretty physical in the Monsterverse.The final battle with Rodan was not done well imo,she slammed him back and all but i wanted to see more.And that stinger is deadly going up in Rodan's insides with how durable Rodan Skin is.She was about to kill Ghidorah before Rodan came in according to the novel in KOTM.That's why i say..a bigger Mothra would be so much more formidable.But even tho she is kinda small in KOTM she still was strong..i hope to see her in her own movie soon.

I believe that Mothra could’ve gotten stronger but she just started evolving into Moth form after her Larvae form. She could probably have used her abilities more and could perform much more better, had she continued further in her Mothra form.

What i'll always appreciate about Kotm is how it elevated Rodan to Mythic status
To survive getting beamed by Ghidorah is no small feat.
His sounds and design are near perfect imo.

Dude it looks like Rodan was the same height of queen muto who is 310 feet tall so yeah Rodan might be that tall.
i'd guess rodan's actual height at around 60-70 meters, considering the heigt comparsion with mothra.

This was so far from a fight, it is more of an execution, like the skullcrawler vs mechagodzilla in GvK, I would say it would take 5-6 mutos to make this a fair fight, possibly more

I'm actually new to this universe and the reason why i'm watching this video is because i'm more interested to the analyze of this titans but i admit, after reading the comments, i didnt knew that rodan is 'not appreciate enough or acknowlegde' the first thought it came to mind is how cool the titan rodan is, i will also admit that i did not watch the movie and spoiled myself but my intention are not that, i simply here for the analyze and fiery bird, i will try watching the movie despite knowing some spoiler, i'm not that bother, all i know is that i will try to watch the movie and be awestruck.

The mutos armor piercing spines are a superior weapon to Rodans foot claws. Rodan has short legs with a limited range of motion. The spines where long flexible and pierced godzillas thick hide. While a ridge may be limited they where proven very effective in close quarters. Rodan still dominates thanks to speed and size.
Also since tbe lore calls him a nuclear volcanic monster the emp would be an effective weapon. His nuclear properties leave him a simular vulnerabilty as our favorite atomic monster. Unless you know of a reason his volcanic properties counter his nuclear engine. I would aasume the emp would tire Rodan stalling his energy recovery.
it depends, in a close fight rage is not everything. claws can be more effective in this scenario. The mobility of the Rodan's claws are very good like birds of prey while the Muto's are more restrained very similar to galloping animals in addition: 20:21 - 20:49

All though the male muto dragged Godzilla while flying, Godzilla was incredibly weaked by the muto’s so he didn’t use that much resistance
