OMGG!! They are super cute, I was super relieved when I watched the video lol, a lot of the time people will buy these birds without doing any research. Usually for their small children who wouldn’t take care of them but it shows that you do care and that you did your research. The cage has lots of great toys, I’m especially glad that you have natural perches. It’s great that they get time outside the cage too! I have two budgies and a cockatiel, I also got my budgies from the petstore and they absolutely refused to eat pellets or vegetables. What I did was I made veggie chop with a food processor and cut it into super tiny pieces, I got super fine Harrison pellets and mixed that with their usual bird seed. Now they will eat their vegetable chop fully! It took a couple months 😅 but we got there. If you are worried about health problems from constantly eating seeds, you can actually sprout those seeds to make them much healthier (the fat content is reduced and the seeds are healthier overall). I’m glad that they found their home with you, I wish the best for you and your bird! (I saw that one of them flew away, my first cockatiel also flew away and I was devastated)
When a second bird is added and they hang out in the cage, one thing to remember is that they are flock birds and prefer not to be alone if possible. Second, I used to have a pair just like yours (a parakeet and a budgie) and I had a slightly larger cage with a flat top. I put a simple plastic mat on top of the cage and then added a cheap artificial tree with a bunch of hanging bird toys. That gave them a comfortable place to hang out outside the cage, and they spent most of their time up there. It doesn't have to be on top of the cage, but giving them a place that is theirs, and then by your behavior making sure they feel safe there would help them enjoy being out of the cage.
Hi, just letting you know, parakeet just means "small bird". All budgies are parakeets, but not all parakeets are budgies. Sort of like how all pizza is food, but not all food is pizza.
You need to get them outside-of-cage hangout place. Then they would enjoy coming out. A tree stand made or natural wood with toys and a feeding area is kinda must have for birds. They are not too hard to make yourself just make sure the wood is safe for birds. For example apple three branches are good, so is willow. You can buy ready made but it's cheap to just diy one.
I just read over your comments and EVERY SINGLE COMMENT is someone criticizing you or telling you what to do. It's hilarious that people just can't stop themselves from being negative to others. Sorry that happened to you. I won't do that. I'm just going to say, beautiful birds, congratulations! I can tell you love them.
I believe you are right. You need an extra larger cage for them to fly inside of if they do not come out anymore. At least they could fly inside the larger cage for exercise.
Make sure you don't use an air dryer, no Teflon pots and pans, put curtains by window so that bird don't fly into glass, no aerosol spray, no perfume or incense. No avocado, tomato seeds for bird. Also don't turn on ceiling fans
Frosty looks to be a boy but however I'm not sure about bubbles wether or not they're a boy or girl, I'd need a better look to tell for sure, but I have 5 parakeets now and I've practically concurred the gender mystery of them, when they're young their little nose color will be either blue or pink and then that color will swap when they get older, like boys will a pink nose and then it'll swap to blue when they are older and then girls have a blue nose when they're young and it'll change to "pink" but it looks more of a brownish pink, especially when their broody
Another way to tell is young females will have very obvious white around their nostrils. Young Males tend to not have any white around nostrils. If they do have some it's a small amount.
@@Zerx735 si .! Si los quieres entrenar o que se acostumbren a ti tienes que tener mucha paciencia.! Algunos budgies les toma mas tiempo para perder el miedo. i cant see well but dont only feed them seeds as that can be fattening feed them pellets and vegetables , its totally fine if you already do that put try not to keep seeds in the cage because they will always choose the seeds over the pellets and vegetables also i think bubbles is a female :) male = blue nose / cere female = brown nose / cere but for albinos idk
thanks so much for this comment ..! you are giving me some great advice...! woww im going to check bubbles closely i always thought it was a male..! haha
Use millets .!! Bubbles is finally getting on our finger after training him with millets.! Be really patient and do it multiple times a day taking it slow. You will get ther 😊 will be posting a short tomorrow showing how he does it .!

Did you tame all if your bird made them go outside the cage? Because if you didn't your supposed to give it 2 week before taming and THEN you start taming and letting them out the cage you need to tame them not play with them just yet and get more bird cages that are bigger and longer don't put them next to each other they could have diseases and the budgie sick
Yes..!actually they are outside of their cage all day and super happy..! They come to our hands to eat also..! I will be making a video with them very soon. 🤗
Don't take bird outside. Even th e slightest wind will cause the bird to fly away and then the hawks will immediately kill it. Close the toilet seat cover.
I bought a baby budgie, from a small breeder, four months ago. Same colour as your Bubbles and I had already named my budgie Bubbles! Don’t forget to feed them fruit and veggies/greens as well as seeds. Check out “Bird Tricks” on RUclips…..loads of useful information!
Woww.! What a coincidence lol congrats on your new baby bubbles ..! They are the best.. still trying to get them to eat veggies and fruits ( they are not fans of it lol )

Get a bigger cage. Cage is small. You never want a bird in a small cage
ok bird expert
@@spislandboy3624 this is basic knowledge 😂😂😂
Ur right, but I would say it's pretty decent considering the fact that they let their birds out a lot as I see. Plus they have lots of toys
